This is budget accommodation. However it had everything we needed. Bed, tv, private bathroom and jug.it was clean and tidy and staff were very helpful! Location isn’t central but Grab is an easy fix for that

My second time back, because it's a great option for an affordable stay: clean, cleanly furnished room with a separate bath. There is a built-in water filter in the bath, instead of plastic water bottles, which is actually eco-conscious! Add to that easy and fast transportation into the city and airport, and a large number of fantastic eating to be had nearby.

This hotel was really clean, with modern room facilities and good AC. It is basic in terms of amenities (ie. No in house dining, gym, etc) but the price reflects this. The area it is in is not as nice as other parts of the city but we felt completely safe and found some really great spots for eating a short walk away, and there is a 7-11 across the road for snacks. About a 15 min walk to MRT which is fine depending on how you cope with the heat, there are buses closer if you want. The only things we didn't like were the bed which was very firm, and the shower design which meant water went everywhere - not uncommon in hotels though! Would definitely recommend if you are after a clean, modern and well priced option for a couple of days.

After a very long flight, i was able to check in early which i sincerely appreciated. The wifi, air conditioning and hot water worked well. Amenities were basic which is expected for the price. Over all, a very good option for a budget stay.

Very clean room , excellent house keeping, very help reception especially Steven. The hotel can really improve if they put small fridge and if the put ice machine in reception. It will not cost them much but will make gust very happy. Area is ok lot's of local cheap food and optional laundry by . Very well connected by public transport.

We reserved two rooms for a family of four. The rooms are compact but offer great value for the price. They are clean, equipped with internet, comfortable beds, a fridge, and coffee-making facilities. There’s no restaurant on-site, but a 7-Eleven is conveniently located next door. This hotel had everything I needed. A bed, toilet, and privacy. Not every room has a refrigerator, but they allowed me to switch rooms to get one. The front desk attendants were all very professional! There is a 7-11 across the street for drinks, but I wouldn’t eat at any of the restaurants close by. It was very easy getting around the city with grab taxis. Would definitely stay again.

Lack amenities. Bring your own shampoo and everything else. They do clean ur room often and bring clean towels. Staffs are kind. Wifi keeps getting lost and weak connection. Overall the lack of amenities just made it disappointing for us especially since it’s quite expensive compared to other hotel 81 branches.

Staff were very friendly, room is small and bed was extremely hard! Bathroom is very snug. Limited space to sit in main bed/sitting area. Little to no storage area for multiple day stay. Minimal amenities, no shower curtain so water sprays on floor and hair dryer location not very convenient! No hand towels or face cloths provided. We stayed for 5 nights and bed was never made, only clean bath towels provided and waste baskets emptied. The coffee cups provided were never exchanged so we washed them after daily use.

Nice staff who allowed us to check in early. Room was small but modern. Liked the water filter on the sink. Towels were threadbare and torn and no hand towels or face cloths provided. Area around the hotel was very crowded with locals just hanging out, but it wasn't noisy. Ok for a quick budget stay.

The hotel staff were very nice and pleasant but the cleanliness and standards of the hotel is poor. Both bathroom towels had a yellow stain on them and there were no hand towels. No shower curtain or screen available for taking a shower in the bathroom, so the bathroom floor ends up very wet making the purpose of the shower mat useless. Lastly the toilet seat was loose on one fixing so the seat slides to the side when you sit on it.

This was not what was expected, nor represented in the pictures. I felt confused as the pictures listed for my specific room, looked completely different. It felt like the 1970’s. see included picture. The picture of my room had a modern mural. There were stains on the sheets granted they fixed pretty quickly. However the pillows were like bricks! I gave up at that point. Will not return!

The room was larger than many other options in this price bracket; not the most modern room but clean and well presented. The bed was very firm although we have come to expect this in Asian countries. The air con was noisy and the wi-fi was a bit patchy. There were plenty of dining options within a short walking distance and we felt quite safe despite being the red light district - if my husband hadn't pointed this out, I would have been oblivious. Overall we thought the room was good value and comfortable.

Room is good condition but really small. The toilet too high, making it very uncomfortable to sit for long. Also when taking shower, water splashes every where. Shower head should place more to right then in the center, that way water fall to gutter drainage.

Leider kann ich nicht mehr Sterne geben... Das Hotel, das Zimmer ansich und das Personal sind sehr gut. Die Lage ist toll. Restaurants und Läden in unmittelbarer Nähe. ABER: Da sich das Fenster, so wie in fast allen Hotels dieser Kette, nicht öffnen lässt, wird das Zimmer permant "mit Luft" versorgt. Die Grundversorgung macht ein wirklich sehr lautes Geräusch. Die Klimaanlage, die es leider kaum schafft das Zimmer unter 22 Grad zu kühlen, kommt geräuschmäßig noch on top. Schlafen ist daher sehr schwer möglich. Und das ist das was ich von einem Hotelzimmer erwarte.

Room was basic and functional I booked for 2 nights as I knew my plane landed early the 2nd day, asked for 2 single beds. Was told there was none available, and check in was at 3. I’d specifically paid for 2 nights to be able to check in the minute we landed to avoid this. Was given a room with a queen bed, but it should have been ready to go. Area was average, not much around food wise.

For folks looking for European styles cafes it is not ideal. Transport options are decent. If you don't mind 15 minute walk there are two MRT station to use. I am not familiar with the neighborhoods in Singapore and picked this one just out of the way the picture looked and the price was very reasonable. It is a pretty new building and everything about the room was spanking new. Geylang apparently used to be a red light district but it has been cleaned up and is now just another middle class area. Lots of dining options. Only drawback is that it is about a 15-minute walk from either of the 2 nearest MRT stations although there are many excellent bus line options 2 blocks away.

A nice low budget hotel on the minimalistic side. Walking distance to Aquatic Center and Arena Stadium. Nice dining options around in this working class neighborhood. I will return by the 28 of this month .

food and shopping was nearby. even if you had to take the taxi to another area, cost of taxi was not too bad. good stay for 1-3nights. if u r needing a big space, this property is not for you. if u dont mind small and cozy then its not bad. staff were wonderful, friendly and great.

The staff on the first night had limited knowledge of English. After that, different staffers' English was very good. Overall, everything met my expectations except: 1. The shower stall had no door so water spilled to near the door 2. No bedside tables 3. No ice vending machines in a hotel where temperatures could be way above 30 degress Celsius 4. The soap dispenser's cover was broken and could not be mounted on the dispenser 5. Area is kind of low class but, because of that, eateries are plentiful and cheap with so much choice! 6. Other hotels in the area might be cheaper but this Hotel 81 Premier (Princess) might be the best What I liked: 1. Plesant and helpful staff 2. Proximity to an infinite amount of restaurants, food courts, currency exchange shops, massage parlours... 3. Walking distance to all the bus stops going in all directions 4. 7-Eleven and a laundry shop right next to the property
