Stayed 3 nights

We stayed in the duplex room. There was no bathroom on the same floor as the bedroom so be prepared to walk down the narrow stairs case in the middle of the night. The bathroom on the main floor was very tiny, almost the size you would expect to see on an airplane plus a small shower, that the shower head would not stay up so you had to use it by hand to be able to shower. The kitchenette had a mishmash of dinnerware so we improvised using our coffee cups for our wine. It was nice to have 2 balconies, one that was private on the main floor, but the one off the bedroom was open and shared. The small couch was useless. Whenever you sat on it the cushion would slide forward exposing the single hideaway bed. There are no accessible outlets on the main floor other than the one in the kitchen and bathroom. The dinning bunkette was not very sturdy and would tip forward if you sat on the front edge. There is virtually no storage space for unpacking other than a small front closet to hang up coats. We spent our 3 days living out of our suitcases and found it very messy. Breakfast was alright and the underground parking handy. If you wanted your room cleaned, you had to request it 24 hours in advance. We used bolt to drive us into old town and each trip cost around 12€. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and as a matter of fact, after staying here, I cancelled my hotel stay for the Vienna Living hotel as I didn’t want to risk staying there.

Stayed 2 nights

It was about a 25-minute walk from the train station (through some construction), but once we found it, it worked for our short stay. The sign outside doesn’t say Living Hotel – it still shows a former name, so we had to go in to ask if we were at the right place. The lodgings were good, although there wasn’t AC and, with the windows open for coolness, the neighbors could be fairly loud. It was great having a bedroom separate from a living room/kitchenette, and the packet of gummy bears when we checked out was a nice touch.

As I have said many times before this is my preferred hotel in Nuremberg. As always excellent service from reception staff.

Not the best hotel but the staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good! Softer beds and a bit of renovation would be nice. Overall happy in terms of what it cost.

The reception staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. The laundry in the basement was clean and the machines are controlled by an app which took a bit to get used to but worked ok.
