The Glacier Room as conveniently located and the room was comfortable and felt homey with antique furnishings. The shower is very small. There is no kitchen, just a microwave and coffee maker. They did provide a breakfast basket with basics (sausage egg biscuit, apple juice, apple and cheese stick). Overall, we found it to be comfortable for a short stay.

Pros- extremely convenient to Mount Rainier national Park, gave us a nice breakfast basket to start our day. Very close to Mt Ranier, so we went n first night and caught the sunset at Paradise. Cons- after flushing, our toilet sang to us, we had to walk up a very steep flight of stairs and a ramp to get to our room with our luggage, bedding not comfortable, don’t know if it was the floor or the bed that had the slant. Very small room. Couldnt figure out the tv (Roku).

$300/night after taxes and fees was definitely overpriced. Room was a small bedroom with a bathroom down the hall. It was cramped, the place is in dire need of some upkeep. Everything is really old and worn and there appears to be no effort to keep things presentable. All the floors are severely lopsided and creaky. The carpet has got to be from 1950 and is in need of a good cleaning. All the furniture is mismatched and shoddy. The bed felt like it was made of stiff cardboard and I didn’t sleep all night. The bed spring on our bed was so old it was yellowed and had brown holes in the fabric. Pretty gross. The tiny refrigerator in the room was ridiculously loud even with earplugs in. The linoleum in the bathroom was all cracked and yellowed from age, all the caulking was cracked and old. There were so many holes in the drywall it was just bizarre no one would fix and paint them. The shared community room was also very shabby looking with ugly old mismatched furniture and an out of tune upright piano. They provided breakfast which was ok and the pond with fish was nice. I can’t comment on the staff, the only interaction I had was when I was resting in bed and someone tried to force their way in at 9:30 when checkout was at 11:00.
