This is a very clean and peaceful lodge. It has lots of amenities like spices, cookware, ice machine and large gathering areas. The balcony and patio area is fantastic for sitting outside enjoying the view and sounds of nature.

Driveway is a bit scary going up and down. Staff was amazing! So friendly, helpful and understanding! The deck was relaxing and comfortable, view was breathtaking! We will definitely return. Thank you!

Spacious room with beautiful view. Lodge was very nice, parking was a little tight. Signage could be better, it was a little hard to find the main entrance. There was a trailer parked in one of the designated spots in front of the garage, and the garage was open which gave it a messy appearance, like we had pulled up to someone’s house instead of the lodge. The pool table was fun but we were really looking forward to the advertised shuffle board. Just a note that there are no outlets in the extra bedroom so bring a long extension cord and outlet strip. Although the room included shampoo and body wash dispensers the liquid barely comes out so I would bring your own. It’s a great place for some R&R and was well kept.

The lodge surpassed my expectations. It is a nice place with private rooms and a shared area with a full kitchen and pool table. The view from the deck is very nice and we enjoyed the stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the lodge! It was such a lovely experience. There is a kitchen available for guests to use so we made hot chocolate and coffee they provided. There is a common living room with games, a communal TV and a pool table. It’s like a cross between a vacation rental, a grown up hostel and a hotel. We loved our stay!

We loved this pet friendly option for near Julian, what a great deck with a fabulous view- we never wanted to leave it. Appreciated the food for breakfast and use of the kitchen. Cute little kitties were fun to watch outside. We will gladly tell others about Tucker Peak Lodge.

The view from the lodge is nice, but the slope to get into the property is too steep and the parking space is very small. I scratched my car. ;(

This property sits at the edge on a hill, the views are great. Its beautiful, quiet, very clean and very well stocked with all the necessities, from plenty of towels in the rooms to soups, creamer and coffee in the kitchen. They have a variety of games for the family in the common areas as well as a nice pool table and a great fireplace. Only thing that was a bit uncomfortable for me was the placement of the window unit in our room, it's right by the bed due to where the window sits, it was pretty loud at night and kinda kept me up, updating them to mini splits would be heaven! Overall it was a really nice stay. Would love to come back!

The lodge is beautiful and set in beautiful surroundings. I liked the large wooden deck which offers impressive views of the valley and provides a great location for meals. My kids really liked the neighborhood cats. The housekeeper was helpful and attentive. The kitchen is very nice as well; I made a great breakfast for my family in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

My only issue with this property was not knowing that they would have loud construction as early as 8am on both mornings I woke up there. It would have been nice to know that I wouldn’t be able to sleep in as I intended as I cannot sleep in at home. This was meant to be a getaway from my hectic mornings and it was not what I expected in that regard. Everything else was nice. The views, cleanliness and surrounding areas were great.

I dropped something on the floor and saw trash and dust bunnies under both beds. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The vents were up on the ceiling level and the room was so hot we had to use the AC, even with Snow outside. The bathtub had what appeared to be mold all around it. The bed was so noisy when we turned or moved it woke everybody up. No one is there to greet you, you're given an email with a code to get in your room. My socks were black from walking on the floor, and the bed looked like it was slept in and not changed, so I slept above the sheets.

Beautiful property with a fabulous view. The mattress was a little too soft for my liking, the towels were somewhat ragged, and the flooring can use some repair. However, the lodge itself is clean and comfortable. I would recommend for a weekend getaway.

This was our 4th stay at Tucker Inn in Julian. We go there just to get away for a day after a very stressful work week and it never fails. Tucker Inn is a little removed from Julian and is so restful staying there that it is our go to place for an overnight descompresión stop. Always clean, never noisy, and always restful. And sitting on the deck at night watching the stars is a great highlight.

The property is great. The location was good. The amenities are excellent. The only drawback was that noise can be heard through the walls. I understand it’s probably an older building and that’s why noise is not insulated well. Conversations and water running through the plumbing is easily heard late at night.

Loved the quiet and the close location to Julian. No TV just Netflix, Hulu etc. could watch local news. Air conditioner in room very noisy but worked well. It was self checked which we didn’t know about in advance even though it worked out ok.

Everything was too notch except for two complaints- the refrigerator’s cooler was extremely loud and woke us up in the middle of the night so that we had to unplug it. The AC unit’s fan rotation mechanism was squeaky and that unit needs to be serviced.

"simplicity" room was clean and nicely maintained but is a bit on the small side. Not a lot of places to put bags. Bed 1 foot from the wall, so it's hard to get in and out and of course no side table. Very little shelf space in the bathroom. Still was a good deal for the price, and a lovely lodge.

Excellent experience with Tucker Peak Lodge. Staff was responsive and professional. The bed was AMAZING! The sheets were so soft, pillows and duvet were fluffy, and the mattress was soft. Seriously the best hotel bed I can recall! I stayed in Serenity. The check in & checkout process was really easy. It was very quiet and so private that I could open the blinds and enjoy nature right from my room. Great experience!

Beautiful place to stay while visiting Julian. Quiet rooms with beautiful views, lots of amenities. There is no staff at the location but are ready available when called. The hosts are very generous with snacks, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and fireplace log,.. additional items also available at the shared kitchen at the self check-in office. Didn't give 5 stars for the room because of the tight door and loud bathroom fan. Kids loved their comfy beds but they were squeaky. My kids love this place and didn't want to leave; especially after couple days of playing and cuddling with the cute cats on the premise, they have already begged me to revisit soon.

Booked the Harmony room for a wedding anniversary getaway, unfortunately the stay was all but harmonious. Contractors were in the midst of roofing the lodge both mornings/day of our stay. We understand we came on a weekday, however, we paid for this trip and set aside time from work, this was a big disappointment. We reached Harley the lodge point person to ask if the roofers can at least wait to begin hammering after checkout to no resolve. We left. The worst stay ever. I do not recommend.

Bigger vehicles may have a hard time getting up the hill & into a spot to park. The room was clean & overall comfortable (we stayed in "tranquillity". The only downside was the mini fridge kept making noise randomly and it was pretty awful sounding. Checking in we had an issue where our entry code wasn't the right one, and didn't hear back about a correction until the next day. Thankfully it had been open for us though. Overall great place though! And there are some friendly outdoor cats that we totally fell in love with.

Hi the only reason I docked a star was because my room was not ready and took over 3 hrs to get cleaned. Gigi came out and did a fantastic job. Jamal was good at making it right. This place is beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Loved the fireplace. Jetted tub I wish I had had time to use. Would love to come back with the hubby soon. Thank you. Place is amazing. Parking and driveway a little rough but not a big deal unless there would be too many cars.

Tucker peak lodge is a beautiful place off the beaten path near Julian. Unfortunatly we got a major dump of snow and the super steep driveway is nearly impossible to navigate in such conditions. I had chains on my truck and still got stuck at the bottom. We decided to firfeit one nights stay and head home. This driveway should be in the description for property! Could of been a major disaster as there is a utility pole across the street from the driveway.

The views are spectacular, location is very close and convenient to downtown Julian. The hosts were very accommodating as well. The property is currently having maintenance/improvements. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay.

It was extremely quiet outside. The view spectacular... Sat out on the deck a lot and visited with the cute little house kitty's. The room was very comfortable.... Overall just a really fantastic get away place. We will come back...

Such a peaceful and quiet getaway. My family enjoyed playing pool, board games, relaxing on the patio and the popcorn and coffee bar. Amazing views from the porch. We stayed in the harmony room it was spacious with comfy beds. We would stay again :)

Awesome place and our room was wonderful! The complimentary snacks, coffee and oatmeal provided was really nice. So close to Julian and very peaceful. We will definitely come back!
