The room rates are good value for money, the location is very convenient to the CBD, Barangaroo and Circular Quay. Nice to have the bar downstairs for a nightcap and a coffee in the morning.

The staff are just incredible here, thanks so much for all your help with my delivery and stay. A great centrally-located hotel with more than you'd expect for what you pay for. A nice lounge area with power and sparkling water is fantastic, and great coffee. Also, not Ibis itself, but the Italian sandwich place next door is unreal. 10/10.

The hotel and staff were nice. The air conditioner didn’t work, but the staff were quick to offer another room. The issues were with the parking and the building staff. We weren’t allowed to use the vacant EV chargers (pay for use) in the garage because they didn’t belong to the hotel. Also, we couldn’t get out of the garage because there was work on the door being done before the scheduled time.

Rooms are small but clean and well appointed. The bar serves pizza ubtil 10pm which is perfect if you dont want to go out. Walkable to cbd foreshore hotspots.

The Ibis Barangaroo is a great hotel and is a wonderful location to the ferry and wharf. The train station is just down the opposite end of hotel, again great location. The coffee shop that is in the lobby makes a wonderful latte! Thank you Ibis Barangaroo

The only thing that wasn’t great was the parking. Very expensive, hi tech that doesn’t work and seemed to embarrass the staff. But at least it was handy.

The rooms are great for the money, and proximity to the city and Darling Harbour are great. I did well with get a in and out park at secure for $145 within 2 blocks from the Ibis.

The perfect place to stay. Right in the city close to everything. Gym on site well kept and perfect. Breakfast included which I took away which had many options and delicious. Small rooms but everything you need and clean. Highly recommend.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful! The hotel is conveniently located in Barangaroo, within walking distance to most amenities. The gym is quite good and appears to have been recently renovated. The only drawback for me was the extremely small room, which felt quite cold and cramped, and the shower head didn't provide a strong water flow. I believe the price is a bit on the higher side for a basic hotel, especially when you can pay just $30-50 more and stay at a luxurious 5-star hotel down the road. I left a day earlier because I was a bit uncomfortable in the room.

Almost on the waterfront so plenty of options for dining, shopping etc etc. staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure alls ok. Just had an issue with the room being very small and cramped BUT I only slept there, had an issue with the bed feeling short as my feet were almost hanging over and I'm only 5'11".. but impeccably clean

Upon arrival we were asked for a credit card we had assumed it was for a hold and after the service man had charged our card he continued to explain it was charged for parking. We were happy to pay for it but communication before the transaction would’ve been nice so we knew how much it was going to cost and things like that. The staff were very friendly and helpful even when dealing with difficult and disrespectful guests. We thought it was a very spacious room and the tv worked which was a bonus for us. The shower wasn’t the best the head seemed to be very blocked and the water wasn’t able to come out of each of the holes on the shower head. And the pressure wasn’t very good. We noticed under the bed the dust was at least 2 cms thick and was very disgusting and there were random socks we found around the room in random places otherwise we were happy with the room.

Before retiring to bed on the first night I check the bed linen and found that the duvet cover was soiled with what appeared to be either blood or blood stains. This was from either the previous guest, an appalling lack of laundry quality control or both. The breakfast choice and service was a terrible. I booked and paid for a room with breakfast but I learnt only upon arrival that the breakfast was a strictly limited to a choice of three items! Even worse was that the choice of three items had to be selected from a meagre number of items. The best I could manage was a portion of yogurt and a portion of fruit with a coffee! No whole fresh fruit was available! Shocking breakfast.

All three rooms booked for our party were clean, but one room's AC had a minor problem repaired, and another lacked bedding as a result of rushed early check in. Both issues were taken care of. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The property was within walking distance of Wynyard Station .the room was a good size for 1-2 days stay. The room had been recently refurbished and was nice. My only complaint ( and a small one ) was that the mattress was lumpy and bowed in the middle. Would reccomend this motel to anyone who needed an overnight or short stay

Such a great location, friendly staff and lots of great things about it. However our stay was tarnished by an almost non-working shower head that only let 3-4 streams of water out making it impossible to shower and wash our hair. Secondly there was a very noisy banging coming from one of the air conditioning vents that came and went all night long which lead to a very interrupted sleep. Besides these 2 issues with our room, I would recommend this accommodation.

Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Staff are polite and the hotel is in a good location but the price was excessive and not worth it for a basic hotel ($700 for two nights!). TV in the room didn’t connect to wifi and I was advised by reception that it’s ‘hit and miss’ as to whether the TV would connect. For the price I paid I would have thought they have the wifi sorted. If the price were more reasonable I would stay again.

Walking distance to Wynard Station. Very close to Darling Harbour - great choice for dining. I was not aware that there are ferries that depart from Darling Harbour - great choice for transport to Circular Quay! The room was very small - liveable but the shower was like being in a caravan - so small.

We found the reception girl so lovely. Kind plesant helpful. If Ibis had 10 girls like her it would never have any worries. This girl helped us get a uber seen that we got into the car as well as my husband had a walker.Thank you.

Breakfast service was very very slow. only a few options and they even told pre made yet we had to wait almost 30mins to get egg and bacon muffin and coffee I would have expected in the city of sydney fast service not so slow like we had all day to wait. It was in dark room also not best lightening. I wonder if we would have got quicker if we said takeaway for the breakfast.

Despite being located right by a highway, I never heard a single vehicle drive by. The location is ideal for walking to most tourists spots and the nearest station was not too far away making it a viable option to go to and from the airport.

Loved the room . Stayed for two nights. Not huge but fine as I was out on the harbour mostly. Well located through Wynyard Station walkway. Coffee good but breakfast option 🤔. Avoid the cheese in the toastie. Staff friendly and efficient.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was small but had everything we needed. Bed was so comfy. Breakfast was grab and go so croissants, banana bread, yoghurt and fruit etc. Was only 2 minutes walk from King Street Wharf and its many bars and restaurants. Location was great hop on hop off bus stop is just across the road. We definitely stay again.

Great location! Just a block walk to the Darling Harbour with every food option imaginable. The only things that weren’t what we were expecting was the small size of the room, to be fair we don’t spend a lot of time in the actual room but if you have a big suitcase like we did it is tight counters. And the shower, mostly the shower head, it had two different settings one that was like a jet stream and the other was like a dumping of water. It had great water pressure but finding a happy medium was a task. Otherwise no other complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful especially with food recommendations. Cafe in the lobby was great for grabbing a coffee before setting out for your day.
