Very nice staff ( Love /Eho / Peter ) and all at Shades bar but the beach cleanliness is awful for the prices charged . There is cosmetic attention to the environment, the pollution on the beach was just observed. To date no response from IHG . Stay elsewhere if you value the beautiful environment.

This hotel really derserves 5 stars, we loved our stay!! One of the best hotels we ever stayed at. Everything is really modern, classy and stylish. The pool is amazing for kids. Kids Club also amazing!!

The room was beautiful, modern and clean and I really enjoyed my time at Kimpton kitalay. All the facilities were great. The surrounding area was peaceful. The hotel is really popular among families so keep that in mind if you are looking for adults-only holiday.

Insgesamt hat mir das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr kompetent. Die Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten. Leider hat mir der Strandbereich bzw. das Meer nicht gut gefallen. Das Wasser war durchgehend trüb und etwas steinig. Schwimmschuhe sind durchaus angebracht. Das ist vielleicht das einzige Manko. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Die Zimmer sind sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und sollten wir nochmals in Samui sein ist es sehr, wahrscheinlich wieder dort zu sein.

Overall the rooms and property were very nice. The downside of this resort during our stay was that the surf was very bad and the waves came right up to the property essentially eliminating the beach. If you are looking for a beach resort where you can play in the sand, layout on the beach, or swim this isn't the resort. If you are looking for a very nice hotel and plan on doing activities off resort or not interested in the beach this is a great choice.

The villa with a private pool and beach access was a mixed experience. While the private pool was excellent, the overall design of the villa left much to be desired—the bathroom and closet were in separate structures, requiring us to go through multiple doors just to access them. There was no proper work sitting area, which made it inconvenient for those needing a workspace. The hotel’s beachfront was disappointing—the grass around the villa was not maintained, the beach was not cleaned, and the waters in front of the hotel were full of rocks, making them unusable. The hotel made no effort to clear them or provide any special beach facilities for guests, and service on the beach was nonexistent. Service overall was polite but not at the level of pampering we expected from a 5-star hotel in Thailand. Dinner at the hotel was below par and overpriced, as was the BBQ night on the beach. However, the seafood restaurant was excellent. Overall, while the villa’s private pool and polite staff were positives, the lack of maintenance, poor design choices, and underwhelming dining experiences make it hard to justify the price. A decent stay, but not the luxury experience we expected.

What an amazing hotel!!! We have been travelling Asia for 9 weeks and 2 weeks in Thailand. This was by far the best hotel we've stayed in during our time. The moment we checked in with Barry who was absolutely incredible to the moment we checked out, we couldn't fault this hotel. All staff we encountered were happy and helpful. Nothing was a problem and always eager to help or assist. Our room was amazing, spacious and very clean. We found the food to be excellent. Really loved this hotel! Thanks for an amazing amazing stay!!!

Das Hotel liegt etwas zwar von der „Stadt“ abgelegen, aber dennoch super erreichbar und genug Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Total kinderfreundlich und das Personal ist immer stets zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und sehr gut geputzt. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Poolzugang, welches mit Baby definitiv die richtige Entscheidung war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch. Wir sind super zufrieden gewesen und können das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

The property was an oasis compared to what was surrounding the hotel. It was beautifully maintained by extremely professional and curtious staff. My only wish was for the dining areas to have an AC option as somedays were so hot and humid that you just wanted to not sweat while eating. We ended up ordering in the last day just to avoid the heat.

Amazing property, staff, room and food. We had a beach villa that was spacious with beautiful views of the ocean. I loved the separation of the sleeping area and the bathroom/dressing room. The room service was on point…both service and food. We had a personal assistant with the villa and Naomi was on top of all our needs and requests. The pool was refreshing and needed because the tides were low from 6am to 6pm. The only bummer.

The overall property design and architecture was beautiful. We loved our room which was a family suite with lagoon access and had a beautiful spacious terrace. Having the kids tent in the room was a lovely touch as well. The walkin closets are poorly designed unfortunately so they dont carry much. The natural beach is amazing but staff dont do a good job of keeping it clean of debris and plastic which is very unfortunate as it gets in the water and you find yourself swimming in trash. Our biggest issue was with service where we had to wait unreasonable amounts of time at restaurants especiallt breakfast. It appeared the hotel was understaffed and mismanaged. We also did not appreciate the lack of interest and care from the kids' club staff who eventually we felt we could not trust with our kids. This resort could be so much better with the right management and care. Shout out to Naomi for all her help!

What an amazing hotel!!! We have been travelling Asia for 9 weeks and 2 weeks in Thailand. This was by far the best hotel we've stayed in during our time. The moment we checked in with Barry who was absolutely incredible to the moment we checked out, we couldn't fault this hotel. All staff we encountered were happy and helpful. Nothing was a problem and always eager to help or assist. Our room was amazing, spacious and very clean. We found the food to be excellent. Really loved this hotel! Thanks for an amazing amazing stay!!!

Overall the rooms and property were very nice. The downside of this resort during our stay was that the surf was very bad and the waves came right up to the property essentially eliminating the beach. If you are looking for a beach resort where you can play in the sand, layout on the beach, or swim this isn't the resort. If you are looking for a very nice hotel and plan on doing activities off resort or not interested in the beach this is a great choice.

Amazing property, staff, room and food. We had a beach villa that was spacious with beautiful views of the ocean. I loved the separation of the sleeping area and the bathroom/dressing room. The room service was on point…both service and food. We had a personal assistant with the villa and Naomi was on top of all our needs and requests. The pool was refreshing and needed because the tides were low all day. The only bummer.

While the private pool was excellent, the overall design of the villa left much to be desired—the bathroom and closet were in separate structures, requiring us to go through multiple doors just to access them. The overall property design and architecture was beautiful. We loved our room which was a family suite with lagoon access and had a beautiful spacious terrace. Having the kids tent in the room was a lovely touch as well. The walkin closets are poorly designed unfortunately so they dont carry much. The natural beach is amazing but staff dont do a good job of keeping it clean of debris and plastic which is very unfortunate as it gets in the water and you find yourself swimming in trash. Our biggest issue was with service where we had to wait unreasonable amounts of time at restaurants especiallt breakfast. It appeared the hotel was understaffed and mismanaged. We also did not appreciate the lack of interest and care from the kids' club staff who eventually we felt we could not trust with our kids. This resort could be so much better with the right management and care. Shout out to Naomi for all her help!

The team and service were fantastic. VEry accommodating with late check-out when possible. The hotel itself is beautiful, but there was major construction happening in the pool area, with loud noise throughout the day. I wish I had known about the renovation ahead of time, as I likely would have chosen to stay elsewhere during that period.

It's one of our favourite hotels in Samui! Every single member of staff was very very friendly - we honestly felt like home! We were impressed with little details such as - the hotel learned our routine (e.g. we kept ordering a bucket of ice for 2 nights in a row, the next day a bucket of ice was proactively delivered to our room), or "sweet dreams" postcards and sweet snacks delivery before bed time. Thank you Kimpton Team!

It's a great new modern hotel with super friendly staff. Good location as well and a nice beach. Great breakfast, good restaurant, nice family activities. My only feedback is the cold water in pools. They are not heated and I think I saw maybe 2-4 people in the water during our 2-day stay. It seems common in Koh Samui not to have heated pools, but it felt a bit wasted to have the pool outside your room with direct access but it was painful to jump in. But it would not be right of me to give any other review than 5 stars, thanks to the very friendly hotel staff.

Das Hotel liegt etwas zwar von der „Stadt“ abgelegen, aber dennoch super erreichbar und genug Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Total kinderfreundlich und das Personal ist immer stets zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und sehr gut geputzt. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Poolzugang, welches mit Baby definitiv die richtige Entscheidung war. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch. Wir sind super zufrieden gewesen und können das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

The property was an oasis compared to what was surrounding the hotel. It was beautifully maintained by extremely professional and curtious staff. My only wish was for the dining areas to have an AC option as somedays were so hot and humid that you just wanted to not sweat while eating. We ended up ordering in the last day just to avoid the heat.

Traveled with my 2kg yorkie and we are so happy to have found a new hotel that is comfortable, beautifully decorated and also pet friendly!!! (some hotels allow your dog in the room but not at the restaurants, pool or beach areas. We extended our stay for a few more days!! The staff is very nice and helpful, the food at the restaurants is really good. We would come back !!

El hotel ha superado mis expectativas con creces. Es un hotel puesto con mucho gusto y detalle, y el trato del personal es excelente y exclusivo. Es el mejor hotel en el que me he alojado. El desayuno es excepcional, variedad de alimentos y platos, sin embargo el servicio de los restaurante de pago por la noche, difiere mucho del buen servicio que se da en el hotel. Tardan mucho en atenderte y la calidad es regular. En cualquier caso, el hotel es excelente.

There was no proper work sitting area, which made it inconvenient for those needing a workspace. The hotel’s beachfront was disappointing—the grass around the villa was not maintained, the beach was not cleaned, and the waters in front of the hotel were full of rocks, making them unusable. The hotel made no effort to clear them or provide any special beach facilities for guests, and service on the beach was nonexistent. Service overall was polite but not at the level of pampering we expected from a 5-star hotel in Thailand. Dinner at the hotel was below par and overpriced, as was the BBQ night on the beach. However, the seafood restaurant was excellent.
