Great staff, great location and very clean

Great location just outside central station

Here is a **polished Hotels.com review under 1500 characters**: A very good hotel in a central location close to Berlin Central Station and within easy reach of most attractions in Berlin. If you arrive by plane, the FEX train takes you directly here in about 26 minutes. From the hotel it’s easy to get around the city both on foot and via the nearby S- and U-Bahn lines. As a Hotels.com Gold member, I have always received a room upgrade at Steigenberger hotels, and having a larger room with extra amenities is always a pleasure. The rooms are modern with a comfortable bed and quality bedding. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower. I also appreciated the coffee machine, seating area, and plenty of space for luggage and storage. The rooms are well soundproofed with good climate and temperature control. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, including a chef preparing fresh egg omelets, a great selection of bread, spreads, fruit, and even a glass of sparkling wine. The hotel also has its own spa and gym. I will definitely return in May 2026.

Everything was excellent

This is a wonderful hotel with a great staff and perfect location. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the room service being awful. We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and the chicken was incredibly overcooked and tasted like rubber. We also ordered a French Onion soup and it was so awful we couldn't even eat it. When I came down and talked with them I was offered "maybe a scoop of ice cream as compensation?" That was definitely not what I was expecting at the price point of this hotel.
