Lobby was decent and staff was very friendly and kind. Elevator is tiny and a bit outdated. Room was really nice looking as was bathroom and shower, but the bed was a bit stiff. Dove soap supplied and good towels. Went to the gym on the first floor and was a 3 out of 5 due to no real dumbbells, even the rack with just the women’s 10lb dumbbells couldn’t hold them in place. They did have 3 cardio machines and I used the elliptical just fine, but def was a cheaper version than any others I’ve seen. Would stay again

Broken elevator and guest got stuck in it!

It was under construction Should’ve mentioned that in the booking advertisement because I wouldn’t have stayed in a partially run down facility.

Room key would not work. Fortunately only slept there so didn’t need. Staff was pleasant and tried to assist, without success. Room recently remodeled and quite nice. But halls, elevator and lobby are horrific. Maybe they get spruced up next?

It was very good the only thing is that the vending machine was out of order the whole time i was there and also the fitness room ??

I came to this location because of the scenery of the mountains and the stay that I was thinking I was going to receive. When I made this reservation, nothing told me that this property was being renovated and the prices for my stay didn’t suggest that either.Although Jennifer, the front desk associate was very warm in inviting knowledgeable and helpful to me and they do offer a decent continental breakfast every morning. I did request a king room but got a double I asked for a view and got the backyard of a trucking company.It was not worth almost $600 for four nights. There were wires running everywhere. There was paint stains on the carpets. The inside of the elevators looked as if they were in need of major repair and when I checked into my room, although there was new fixtures and bed posts, the refrigerator was old. There was stains from drainage from the refrigerator there was a blue wire running from the closet to behind the television set. There were anchors as well as screws in the closet. I came for a religious event, and I brought back some memorabilia from my first day of that religious event, and when I went the next day to the second day of my religious event and came back the memorabilia that I left on the table on the counter was thrown away very important things that I wanted to keep were no longer housekeeping, took it upon themselves to decide that I didn’t want It. Before warned this property is being RENOVATED.

Average place. Clean and staff was friendly. Room was nice enough, older. Gym has seen better days. Breakfast was decent.

Painting the hallways and they were more concerned about the workers than the guests. Painters had exclusive use of only elevator in 4 story hotel.

Overnight stop on our travels it was clean and staff were friendly.

Stay was not pleasant- I don't have high standards for hotels but this was gross. The final "nope" was on the morning of checkout when my friend found multiple German cockroaches in her bed (the small ones) these are as bad as bed bugs in terms of hitching a ride and infesting your home. Also the elevator did not work properly and would get stuck open. It was a known problem that hadn't been fixed. We tool the stairs because we didn't want to get stuck. Only good I can say is that the ac worked, there was a fridge and microwave, and good water pressure.

Convenient location. However, I found this hotel to be one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Needs a good remodel/refurbish. Elevator filthy inside. Coming out of the elevator on the 2nd floor the carpet is very dirty. Plastic shower surround had been painted (yes, painted) Very poor paint job around the edges! Top of shower curtain was tattered. I usually give very good reviews but was turned off by the overall condition of this hotel.

The bathroom was just not clean. Rag on the toilet looked used. It just felt sticky on the floors . I honestly wouldn’t ever stay here again I would just spend the extra money and get something nicer. It’s not terrible I’ll say that. Staff was nice. Key didn’t work first time had to go back she said don’t put near phone. This place is a C

I stayed here for 1 night and will not be back. The hallways are so dirty, smell bad and look scary and dark. The toilet had pubic hair, the bed sheets looked like off white instead of white, the tv didn’t work and the front desk was nice and came to fix it, but it was not smart tv, I couldn’t log in on Netflix, it was only live tv! Overall, don’t recommend it and it didn’t feel safe!

Looks good, but water out of bathtub faucet was brown!! Gross. Hair in the tub drain clogging it up, hair on the bathtub, night stand, etc. floors not clean around edges of things.

This property was very clean, quiet and has professional staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room smelled like too much air freshener trying to cover up a smoky smell. The extra lock on the door was broken off. There were no glasses by the sink to use when brushing our teeth. And there were tiny ants on the floor by the window. Not at all a good experience.

Nice and clean there, heat didn’t work in room 200 so we were freezing. please address this problem for future customers.

Beds have a metal foundation that the bed sits on. Every turn in bed, every time you get up or sit on the bed it sounds like thunder.

The room was nice and spacious. It was clean and serviced daily with fresh towels. The area was quiet and I appreciated the light blocking window covering that could be pulled open during the day.

The lobby was pretty yuck. It needs a real upgrade. The staff were really pleasant and the rooms were nice. The beds have these metal bases that make a super loud noise when you knock into them. This means all night you can hear the bangs from down the hallway as people get in and out of bed.

Front desk clerk was very friendly at Check in. Overall good room, the only issue is that the Air Conditioner was a little loud.

First, climate control was no where near unit, so not easy to figure out how to change temp. “Continental Breakfast” was one of the weaker breakfasts I have ever seen. Deal breaker was really when we turned on shower and brown water came out. It ran for a while this way. At check out I mentioned it to front desk and they said they had work done recently and if we just let it run for 2-3 min it would have been fine. We paid $200 for this room and we were told AFTER the fact that we should let water run for 2-3 min?! Unacceptable. No offer to discount or anything. Choose one of the hotels next door.

Room 213--shower head needs replacing. Other than that--Very good

Walls were extremely thin so noise traveled loudly from rooms across the hall into my room. Shower curtain had several rips. Vibes were ok, breakfast had some hot options and waffle maker which was nice. Staff was nice. Room was clean.

The bed was absolutely rock hard. My fiancé and I woke up with sore backs. Very uncomfortable throughout the entire night.

Definitely expected a bit for more for $250 a night. We booked this hotel for a wedding party. I booked 10 rooms several months ahead of the event. I was very specific about what the bed needs were for each room and went so far as to call a few days before the event to reconfirm every room and what beds should be in each room. We were not given the requested and confirmed room configurations upon check in and were told that there was nothing that could be done. The gentleman at the front desk was unfriendly and clearly was not interested in customer service. He was openly annoyed at having to check us in. We had one party member who had a last minute emergency and was unable to come. I understand that there are rules about cancellation but as we spent over $3000 in the hotel I would expect we could cancel a single room, but I was told nothing could be done. One of the rooms was truly in need of cleaning in the bathroom and we were told the rooms are cleaned before check in and no one was available to provide service and no one ever came to clean. Overall poor customer service and less than ideal cleanliness. I live within a mile of this hotel and host people frequently. We tried this hotel for the first time and it will be the last. I would not put my family or friends here again.

Good room, easy check-in but check-in not available before three (not even 20 mins prior). Breakfast available but basic options. Staff at the front desk was friendly. Overall, a solid stay for the price.

From check in to check out, everything was excellent! Friendly staff, safe all around. Comfortable bed, all very clean! I am a female who stayed by myself, and felt very at ease and peaceful here. Breakfast was a plus with eggs sausage, toast, bagels, cream cheese, pastries, yogurt, great coffee, make your own waffles.. and the price was not bad! I would definitely return when I need to spend time alone to recharge!

Great place for a basic stay for business or a night away from the kids with the wife. Staff all around was good to excellent. The man working the front desk during the morning of November 11th 2023 was especially nice. We had checked out before 11am and my wife needed to use a restroom. This gentleman was very nice and allowed her to use their own bathroom. Very much appreciated him.

Staff not very friendly at the front desk when I checked in she seemed like she had an attitude. My friend left her ring on the table next to the bed and we called 2hrs after leaving when she realized she didn’t have it and they told us it wasn’t any ring in the room which is a lie because no one else went in the room except housekeeping

The property is very close to a number of shopping and dining options, as well as direct access to I84 highway. Although the room was clean, it needs some updates. The bathroom is VERY tiny. Being a taller person, my knees almost touched the door when on toilet. The shower curtain was shredded at hook attachments and the light switch for bathroom was broken. The chain on the toilet flusher broke upon flushing in the morning. I did bring these concerns up to front desk attendant when I checked out.

Great location for hiking in the surrounding area, nice room, easy to navigate and a great overall hotel for those looking for a quick getaway in the mountains along the Hudson.

Check-in was flawless. The hotel was very clean, the desk clerk very friendly and the location perfect (easy on/off) for rt p and 84. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.

Good Property. Lots of food options and shopping near by. I did not like bathroom setup. Vanity is outside of bathroom, and closed bathroom was very small. Good value for price. I personally will avoid Wingate properties because of room setup.

Older place but clean and near restaurants

The steam shower was amazing, and our king bed was very comfortable. Perfect after a long day of travel. Breakfast buffet was limited in options, with no fruit or yogurt provided. Coffee was good, and a hot waffle was all that we needed to get a good start the next morning.

A solid and affordable hotel. Great staff interactions. The breakfast is a standard cheap fare (but free!). The location is great for a lot of adventures in the region. Lots of restaurants, theaters etc in the immediate area too.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the other hand was absolutely terrible. The coffee was sour, the eggs were dry, and the orange juice was made from Tang. If you are going to stay here do not count on the free breakfast.

The hotel was under renovations which no one mentioned when we book it. There was not breakfast which was to be included with the room rental. The place smelled of paint because of the renovation. There were no tissues or instructions on how to use the remote for the TV of streaming box. No cups to drink water out of and the only ice machine was on the first floor. The only saving quality was that it was quiet because no one else was staying there!
