L&H Gran Vía Valencia

A/C worked well. Windows kept room quiet. Hallways have a rug running down for sound dampening. Excellent shower with hot hot water. Firm bed. Nice short walk to Botanical garden and Old Town via the historical Quart Towers. Welcomed with a glass of cava. Staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Rooftop bar has great view of Towers, but is pricey and tiny pool is not meant for people—just for looks.

Really great hotel to stay in near old town. Lovely rooms, staff also very helpful, nearby 24Hr parking not expensive. Nice rooftop bar view of city, serves great drinks and bar food. Stayed here before will again

Lovely hotel, stayed several times, excellent staff, very helpful reception, delicious breakfast. Rooftop bar is lovely but not open in the winter months but you can still access the rooftop area and seating

Had a great 2 night stay. Nespresso coffee in the room, awesome! Room was not large, but large enough, finishes were of high quality and we had a small balcony in the least expensive room offered. Breakfast was great, good choices and service. Also a very good location, walking distance to the old town, squares and cathedrals. Nearby recommended parking in a municipal lot was Euro13 for two nights, great value.

well placed hotel local to "old town" (few minutes walk) in between 2 metro stations (5 minutes walk).staff very welcoming and spotlessly clean ....room cleaned every day...only comment would be its not big so the reception is in the middle of the dinning area which is the bar area at night. nice compact rooftop bar with plunge pool but quirky opening hours..

The hotel is perfect the main problem is the parking which isn’t available.

Wish we hadn’t booked this hotel. It shows they have a pool on rooftop - this is false advertising as the pool is tiny and not a real pool. People aren’t allowed in it and its for ‘show’. Absolutely ridiculous. Also the staff were rude at breakfast as we were a bit early, and we had to wait ages to check in as the receptionist was so slow. For the premium price you are better staying elsewhere.

We arrived late, and the room we were shown ("superior") was incredibly small had no window. It had an opening onto an interior airshaft. We paid for an upgrade to a "corner room." This had 2 windows over the street, but was also very small (the desk chair could not be pulled out from under the desk without hitting the bed). As it was very late, we just went to bed---but the room stank of an open toilet. It was not the bathroom in the room. The smell was coming from the wall directly behind the bed. We had to sleep with a window open. As well, the bed was smaller (not king) than advertised and the pillows were those very hard bags of what felt like towels. When we spoke to the staff first thing in the morning, they said "oh, well, when it rains in Valencia, every place smells like that. My apartment smells like that. It is just the way things are." Then they came up to the room and sniffed the air. "We don not smell anything. And we have no other room for you." We immediately checked out and went to a different (and much better) hotel. When we asked for a refund of the unused 4 nights, they sent an email saying "We did not smell anything, and you paid in advance, so NO REFUND." The day manager, the restaurant manager (waitperson?), the housekeeping manager were all completely uninterested in addressing the issue or even really listening. They said "send an email to the website. They should get back to you in a day or two." never heard a word.

Loved this hotel in Valencia. Very clean and convenient location. Will definitely stay here again.

New building and nice facility. Good service. 3 people check in but only 2 robs. Lack of hooks on the wall and not enough hangers in closet. The maid on teh 2nd day did not provide us the toiletries and toilet papers. Overall, a nice stay. Just a bit far from center old town

I booked this hotel based on positive reviews. The room we were given was for a disabled individual which we were understanding of but then the bed sheets were not changed from the prior person and had numerous hairs from a man on the sheets. By the second night the maid had still not changed the sheets and we mentioned it to the front desk staff whom was helpful to change the room but then the new room had a number of hairs on the bathroom wall as well. We paid about $250/night. We asked if the hotel could offset the inconvenience with a breakfast or something by this point but the manager denied.

Had a view of the Main Street. Woke up to amazing sunrise! On 6 th floor was quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Struttura centrale buon rapporto qualità/prezzo ( piccole precisazioni stanza molto piccola quasi si fa fatica a stare in due nonostante avessi preso la Deluxe, armadio inesistente con quattro appendini e basta, ma soprattutto non c’era il BIDET e per chi come noi è abituato un bel problema

Great location five minutes to the old town. Spotlessly clean room, comfy bed with a few free drinks in the minibar which was a nice touch. We had a premium corner room on floor six which had double aspect windows with a great view. Staff were all extremely helpful, spending time with us explaining all the best places to visit. I would definitely recommend the rooftop bar for sunset cocktail. All in all a fantastic four night stay in a great hotel. Highly recommended.

Et utrolig dejligt hotel. Central beliggenhed og gå-afstand til centrum og bus/metro. Værelset vi boede på var meget småt men lækkert og flot. Dog for lidt opbevaringsplads til tøj. Kunne godt have brugt flere bøjler og knager og plads til kufferterne. Rooftopbar, meget fin med de sødeste bartendere

The rooms were modern, stylish and clean. All the staff was super polite and greeted me with a glass of Cava when I checked in. There’s a beautiful rooftop tapas and bar restaurant.

It's a nice hotel in a great location a few blocks from Old Town. Our room was nice, and clean, with nice products, and is small but adequate. The rooms are soundproof even though we were on a main street. They clean every day and we had a mini fridge full of drinks as a welcome gift! They offer a buffet breakfast for 16 Euros or a la carte fresh-made eggs etc. for around 8 Euros. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English. They got our taxi when we departed and had fresh water in the lobby and a welcome sip of cava. Definitely would stay here again!

First time in Valencia for me. It was such a pleasant experience indeed. Staff super attentive and absolutely aim to please when I needed any help or had any questions. Guadalupe especially and another lady whom I don’t remember name , but they were absolutely lovely and super kind. Great location - bus right outside the hotel to take you to anywhere you want to go and walking distance to historical part of town as well. I’d definitely stay here again if I go back to Valencia. 👍👍

Unclear policy around pets. Management extremely rude and would not allow a refund on a same day booking while also refusing to allow us to stay at the hotel when we arrived with our small dog, despite being listed as “pet-friendly”.

Well done to Monica the breakfast host and the reception staff who were really friendly and helpful. We visited the roof top bar every evening. A great way to have a nightcap and enjoy the cool breeze. The hotel is a short walk to the old city, so ideally located. No hesitation in recommending this hotel in terms of quality and value.

Really had a fabulous couple of nights here with my daughter. Staff were amazing and the service excellent. Rooms were spotless. Really easy 10 min bus journey from almost outside the hotel to Staci du nord. Close to all the main sights for walking

Always a great place to stay, stayed many times over this year. Very convenient for the old town and centre of Valencia, staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for a single night stay. Easy access across the road into the city albeit the area of the hotel itself isn't that nice and quickly backs onto residential tower blocks. Rooms are comfortable but not palacial- our room had a view of the void unfortunately. Some remedial works being done in reception and also the new receptionist takning a very long time at check in led to the lower score. Rooftop bar is lovely, needs some refinement on the French Martini. Overall very good.

The hotel is fine and the breakfast excellent! Only (major) remark was concerning the check in; we had to wait for more than 25 minutes before one of the two receptionists wanted to address us. They were busy with 1 other customer the whole time and did not even look at us. I understand that customers can be hard to deal with, but if you see the line is getting longer and it takes forever to find a solution, please arrange yourself to take aside the case you've been hopelessly have been dealing with for (according yourself 4 hours) and help your next customers. Our check in took not even 2 minutes! After a hot, long and tiresome day, it is important to be able to go to your room as soon as possible.

My wife and I spent two nights here on our first visit to Valencia. This hotel is absolutely first rate. Our corner room was wonderful, our daily breakfast was delightful, and every employee was as friendly, helpful and an absolute joy (special shoutout to Juan Carlos at the front desk. Superb employee) We would love to return and stay there again

The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to the old town area and close to public transport for those who need it. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a roof terrace bar that we used to chill down after sightseeing. Overall fully recommend this hotel

The hotel is very well located, walking time to the historic downtown (~5 min). Area around the hotel is a little bit dirty, but close also to a mall (~10 min walk).

Great hotel right in the middle of the city! A block away from the botanical garden, a few blocks away from the quartz gate, and surrounded by many restaurants. Great service and very comfortable.

La calidad del desayuno regular, zumo de bote, fruta pasada, poca variedad. Mucho ruido en la habitación de fuera y la vibración del metro.

To nætters ophold. Meget venlig modtagelse med grundig forklaring og introduktion til stedet. Værelset var ikke stort, men behageligt og stille på trods af at det vendte mod vejen. Minibaren er gratis men fyldes ikke. Fint at have køleskab til kolde drikke. Morgenmad dag 1 inkluderede rundvisning (!) i buffeten og mulighed for at bestille en æggeret tillavet til behov. Dag 2 var der muligvis underbemandet i restauranten til morgenmad. Der blev kun nødtørftigt fyldt op og ingen mulighed for at bestille. Så standarden levede desværre ikke helt op til intentionerne og prisen er derfor vel høj.

Tolles Hotel. Unheimlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück ist so vielfältig und hat eine perfekte Qualität. Preise ok, teilweise etwas teuer. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal da und kommen bestimmt wieder. Klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte im L&H Hotel. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber für einen Städtetripp reicht es. Wir hatten nicht die kleinste Zimmerkategorie. Sie sind gemütlich und sauber. Man hat aber ein wenig das Gefühl, daß bei 10 Euro Trinkgeld beßer geputzt wird als bei 5 Euro 🤔 Und man bedenke, daß nicht mal jeder Gast noch Trinkgeld gibt. Bei der Dusche könnte mal jemand die Ablage für die Duschutensilien beßer anschrauben, damit diese sich nicht ständig zur Seite neigt. Ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit 😉 Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, steht einem immer zur Verfügung und man wird steht’s mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Das Frühstück fällt auf den Fotos ein wenig anders aus als in echt. Uns fehlten da ein paar Dinge. Was auch schade ist, daß der Käse, Aufschnitt, also alles was gekühlt sein sollte, mit der Zeit nicht mehr so appetitlich aussah, da es nicht gekühlt wurde. Somit haben wir lieber darauf verzichtet. Schaade! Ein Pluspunkt aber, man konnte sich immer Rührei, Omeletts, Spiegeleier etc. bestellen, welche auch frisch zubereitet wurden. Ins Zentrum von Valencia waren es nur ein paar Gehminuten, zu den einzelnen Sehenswürdigkeiten oder auch zum Shopping☺️ Die Küche des Hotels ist super, falls man einmal nicht ins Zentrum möchte um Essen zu gehen.

Very good 3 day business trip. Hotel is ideal for solo travellers, good choices at breakfast and a nice rooftop botanical to sit and enjoy a drink and the view. Plenty restarants within walking distance too. Wi Fi was plenty fast and I receiveda welcoming glass of Cava and a few drinks in the mini bar for free.
