Very unimpressed. Not 5 star at all. Food was tasteless. Only one chair for my balcony. Pool was fine except only 6 loungers and no shaded area. Little English spoken. Nil in my mini bar fridge. Gym ok but only one bench! For coffee and tea, sanka and Lipton. Quite simply, no way is this worth the money spent. Don't waste your money. I found harbour hotel nearby for $45 instead of $200 much more satisfactory and better, friendlier customer service.

Hotel is very good. Food was ok. Spa very good. The call for prayer was anoying and long but nothing the hotel can do about it. I don't see other religions imposing things like this to everyone in the city, should not be permitted in places where multiple religios are practiced. Smoke smell around the hotel, something was getting burned. Overall a good experience.

The nearby Mosque had an extremely loud and frequent prayer recording. We ate at the rooftop bar. Food was so-so and the wine was terribly expensive for not very good wines. The waiter spilled wine on our table and did not clean it up. Had to move to a different table.

■ロビー海に面していて眺めがよく、風通しも良くて気持ちが良いです。 ■部屋部屋は十分広くて綺麗でした。海と反対側にメイン通りがあるので昼間は少し交通音がしますが、夜や朝方は静かでゆっくりできます。通りに面して寺院があって、夕方と朝4時半頃に大音量でお経？が流れますがすぐに終わるので安心してください。 ■ジム必要最低限の設備です。ウェイト中心の人はベンチ1台と22.5kgまでのダンベルしかないので物足りないかもしれません。早朝は使っている人があまりいないので集中して使えます。 ■レストラン普通に美味しいです。値段はホテルの食事と考えたら納得できるくらいで、一品とドリンク頼んで2000円くらいからです。 ■ランドリーサービス朝10時までに出せばその日中に受け取れます。Tシャツで400円くらいだったと思います。残念ながら近所のランドリーショップはなくなったようです。 ■スタッフ皆さん英語が通じて優しくて真面目です。 ■周辺正面入口を出て右手にいくとシーフード屋台が並んでいます。夕方から営業するので晩ごはんにおすすめといろんなドライバーに言われました。安くて美味しかったですが、ちょっと待ち時間が長いのと席によっては煙いです。野良猫が何匹か見れます。シーフード屋台の道を挟んだ向かいに何軒かグロッサリーストアがあり食料、飲料、雑貨が買えます。滞在中なにか必要なものがある場合はここでだいたい揃います。午前中からやっている飲食店は周りに少ないです。The Dockers Armsというレストランが7時からやっていたので朝食に何度か使いました。すぐとなりに港があり、コモド島ツアー等はこの港から出発するのでツアーの行き帰りの送迎時間が短いです。

But this is not a 5 star hotel, it fell well short, only one tatty old bath towel, no hand towels; room small and dated. Charged us £29.60 for two glasses of read wine which were undrinkable, the bottle had been open for days and then ignored our complaints and would not change it, even when we left it undrinkable. We had a similar experience with breakfast £22.75 for two breakfasts, when the price on Expedia is £10 for two. I just felt ripped off. Divina one of the staff was very helpful with sorting out problems with our airline check in. So if you want a central location, book a sea view room and stay here, and pre book breakfast, but eat and drink outside the hotel if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Pickup and transfer from airport to hotel was fast. All staff I've encoutered are truly friendly and smiling. They allowed me to check in at 12:30, without charging extra. Area around hotel is safe and very walkable. Breakfast was delicious and a plethora of choices for good. Room was exceptionally clean.

Staff were terrific. Very helpful, knowledgeable and seemed truly interested in your stay. The room was large, lots of space to lay out items, bed was large and very comfortable. The balcony was great looking at the harbour and sunsets. The bathroom was well layout everything you needed and a nice rainfall shower. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel.

Booked the Seaview and was able to get one of the rooms farthest from the mosque so it was quite faint. However, with the seaview, you will bear the little skiffs that go out fishing and they are loooud! Not unbearable but be aware. That said, the hotel room, amenities and everything around the area is quite lovely. Walkable and the port for all the boat excursions is just a 3min walk away.

We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that! Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. Even though I am a light sleeper… did not hear noices from outside, wich keep me awake… at all. The other day I slept with the terrace doors open… that day, I only hear noices around 6 AM, for me personally, no big deal! About the room with a hillview, which was quiet near to the mosque… with the terrace doors completely shut… I did not hear the early morning prayers at all!! Conclussion: rooms are soundproof! Everything on walkable distance… many restaurants/eateries/fish market… you name it… Staff very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfy as pissible… Breakfast was goid, enough choices, both for western as local food! Once again view stunning and could not better!! Will book this hotel again, when in LBJ and can highly recommend it!

While the room and staff were very good. We were placed on level 5 which was below the pool and bar, which plays loud music all day and late into the evening which we could hear in our room. Note go for a sea view room as the Mountain View we had had the mosque just down the road and you can hear the morning sunrise prayers. (Which we did not mind as you are in a Muslim country). We also did not get the VIP services promised by Expedia

The rooms at Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo are visually very nice, and the hotel even offers a complimentary 15-minute foot massage, which was a thoughtful touch. Spa services were available, but massages were noticeably more expensive than at comparable hotels. Overall I have had better services in 3 and 4 star hotels in Indonesia. Therefore the price you pay is much overrated comparing for what you get. Even for taking a towel to beach you must pay 50000 rupiah. I could understand if you pay a deposit and you lose the towel you must pay. No you must rent it. Also with check in something went wrong and I had to wait for 2 hours administration time. Without even offering a drink for waiting. I hope the new starting manager (who I personally spoke) can get it to 5 star. The view from the hotel is great, but for me it takes much more to get a 5 star treatment when you pay so much money, espescially in Indonesia. Next time we will take other hotel.

Great hotel for doing Komodo Island adventures, super convenient, was able to order a very early to-go breakfast box for our super early tour day on the islands. Breakfast buffet was massive and definitely worth it, with a lovely rooftop view. Rooms were nice. Easy walk to restaurants and convenience stores. Definitely recommend for anyone coming to LB to do the island tours!

I couldn’t make my mind up where to stay in Labuan Bajo, in the end I chose Meruorah due to its close proximity to town, I was so glad I did. The hotel was amazing, the pictures on Expedia didn’t do it justice. The rooms were large and modern with all the amenities you need. Breakfast was served on the six floor with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating overlooking the harbour. There was so much choice of food with cooking stations and cold food available. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the harbour although all tours offered pick up from the hotel. The only downside I found was the road noise and from the masjid just down the road, the hotel obviously realised this and left earplugs in the room, if I stay there again I would definitely pay the extra for a sea view room so as to be away from this noise. I would highly recommend staying here.

Friendly staff and very helpful to ensure stay in the hotel is enjoyable to all guests. Good selection choices for the buffet breakfast scenic view oversee the harbour. Had a room with seaview, spacious and clean, only the horn & engine noise from the boats/ships can be a little disturbing otherwise the stay is fantastic. Charged us £29.60 for two glasses of read wine which were undrinkable, the bottle had been open for days and then ignored our complaints and would not change it, even when we left it undrinkable. We had a similar experience with breakfast £22.75 for two breakfasts, when the price on Expedia is £10 for two. I just felt ripped off. Divina one of the staff was very helpful with sorting out problems with our airline check in. So if you want a central location, book a sea view room and stay here, and pre book breakfast, but eat and drink outside the hotel if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Excellent location and view. Room was fantastic. I only stayed 2 nights but this was very easy if you are planning quick, one day boat trip to Komodo islands. Dinner / barbecue was good. Breakfast buffet had many choices and was very good. There was not an a la carte option. Live music on Saturday night. I would stay here again especially for convenience on a short trip

Very beautiful and modern hotel. Amazing staff, so welcoming and nice, thank you so much!!! Stunning views, great pool, good breakfast! Thank you for making us feel at home, we will be coming back!
