the only good thing about this hotel was the staff, very friendly and helpful! the area is very unsafe, we witnessed several fights on the hotel street. at the hotel the elevator is not in service (wish I knew this before we got there) we got the 5th floor there is no AC :(

Nice location, close to train station. The elevator was broken down, so we had to carry our luggage up and down. Out room facing the stairs and the sound proof was not good, so we can hear people talking all night because of oktoberfest was going on. I asked to extend 1 hour until 12 pm for checking out but was refused. Usually no problem with other hotels I have stayed.

El Cuarto de Hotel es reducido, la zona está llena de giros rojos y gente que pasa toda la noche tomando en la calle, aunque nunca nos sentimos amenazados, si te topas con borrachos aventando botellas y cosas asi y aunque el hotel tiene ventanas dobles, si eres sensible al ruido, lo escucharás toda la noche; el desayuno sí vale la pena es completo y con buen café. Nos tocó que el elevador hace un ruido tremendo y no podrían repararlo sino hasta la siguiente semana, por lo que después de las 10 pm dejaba de funcionar

Das Frühstück war breit gefächert, eine Auswahl an verschiedenen Brötchen sowie Brot, Käse - Wurst - Aufschnitt, Müsli, frisches Obst, Gemüse, Ei, Rührei, verschiedene Kaffeespezialitäten, Antipasti, Konfitüre, Nutella. Wenn etwas sich dem Ende neigte wurde es zeitnah aufgefüllt. Tolles Team! Dieses Hotel werde ich sehr wahrscheinlich wenn ich in der Stadt bin buchen!

The property was situated within a 7 minute walk of the main railway station The staff are excellent very helpful The room was very clean and tidy a little on the small side ie shower small sink small TV small beds were large and the breakfast was very good

Hatten zwar für 2 Personen eine Suite für 4 Personen zugewiesen bekommen,aber leider ließ die Sauberkeit in dem Zimmern zu wünschen übrig (Spinnweben und Staub unter den Heizkörpern) Frühstück war für ein 3 Sterne Hotel recht ordentlich. Allein die unmittelbare Nähe zum Deutschen Theater war sehr angenehm.

We spent the Octoberfest opening weekend in Hotel Italia. The location is perfect and hotel is ok. There is no aircon in the rooms, as the days were hot it was also really warm in the rooms at night. Beware of the noise from the street, bring earplugs if you want to sleep...

The hotel itself was good, a solid option for a relatively inexpensive hotel near the train station and only a short walk to the Marienplatz, the Oktoberfest grounds, and the city center. It was warm in Munich when we stayed (high of 28.9C/84F) so we were grateful that there was a good ceiling fan and the windows opened fully. My only issue was that there area can be loud at night. We did not hear any music or noise from the club next door directly but the patrons were loud in the street and for some reason a lot of cars honking their horns outside the club late into the night. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but something to know about the area when booking. The breakfast buffet was very good, with many options.

The hotel itself was very clean, rhe staff were really polite and helpful, and the rooms were as you'd expect tidy with all the normal stuff however they were on the small side, bathroom was particularly tight, breakfast was good, well stocked there is no aircon in the rooms so they were really warm overnight meaning we had to have the windows open, which is where our issue was, our room was on the front of the building and not the hotels fault at all but there is a bar next door which is open through the night and on the weekend it was rowdy outside way into the small hours, so if you open the windows the noise seems to amplify around the room, ear plugs definitely needed, our friend had a room on the rear which was quiet, luck of the draw I suppose, the week day night was not a problem

Sadly, there are a number of erotic night clubs very close by. The area just wasn't very pleasant, although at no time did we feel unsafe. The hotel itself was great. It was close to transportation, had a free breakfast, which was excellent, and was surpringly quiet.

Solid 3 stars. Adequate facilities and service. Good location, with only a short walk from Munich Hbf and short walk to Old Town. There is a strip club next door but this did not impact our experience in anyway. We would consider staying here again.
