The accommodation is in a great area, within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, shopping and hundreds of souvenir shops. The only negative issue was that I chose a larger room which ended up in another building with several stairs - difficult to manage with our luggage, even though only had carryon and backpack:(

rapport qualité prix très correct - le point fort de cet hôtel est son emplacement - en plein centre ville bars/restau/bus/métro à proximité - donc un peu bruyant pour les chambres donnant coté rue - chambre très propre, ménage fait tous les jours, un peu petite mais c'est la condition pour être en ville petit déjeuner très complet, avec jus d'orange pressé ! et rempli régulièrement par le personnel petite terrasse sympa à l'arrière pour prendre un verre hôtel à refaire et à conseiller

Hotel conveniently located close to Praca do Rossio and metro stations, within short walk to Praça do Comércio, Elevador de Santa Justa. Hotel amenities basic, staff really friendly and helpful. Tea kettle in a room would be great.

O café da manhã muito caro, Sem frigobar, o dificulta, sem chaleira elétrica, localização boa, bem central.

Elevadores que não funcionam. Muitas escadas, inclusive dentro do quarto. Escolhemos quarto triplo. Mas, para acessar a cama de casal tem que subir uma escada muito íngreme.

Pros: central location, good transportation, fair price. Cons: limited facilities e.g. kettle, free beverage options, room is carpeted which can attract dirt and difficult to clean.

small hotel in a great location, very clean and modern. Set in a side street ,the rooms, although small ,have everything you need for a week end stay. The beds are super comfy and the staff were all wonderful.The breakfast was great with plenty of choice and the outside terrace was lovely. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

recently stayed at Hotel Gat Rossio and overall had a very good experience. The location was excellent—right in the heart of Lisbon, making it easy to explore the city and access major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. The room was decent and clean, providing a comfortable place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The main downside was that there was no elevator to reach our room; we had to carry our suitcases through a corridor, across a courtyard, and up a flight of stairs. Additionally, our window faced the back, so there wasn’t much of a view. Despite these minor inconveniences, I feel that the value for the price paid was excellent. If you’re looking for a central, budget-friendly option and don’t mind a bit of extra effort getting to your room, this hotel is a solid choice. Four stars.

Nice little place to stay. Close to plenty of transportation needs. Hotel staff were super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Though the only suggestion is, if you need assistance or have trouble with stairs try to ask for a room on the first floor. Since there is no elevators that go to all floors.

Property is very conveniently located within walking distance to transportation, tour starting points and restaurants. Rooms are relatively small. The hotel suffers from housekeeping inconssitency as there was more than 1 instance when dirty glasses were not replaced and fresh towels forgotten. We had an incident where someone not from hotel staff tried to enter the room that was noted by concerned front desk and totally ignored for follow-up by the hotel manager. Left us with a totally unsettled feeling during the rest of our stay.

After being out for several hours , we came back to our room smelling like sewer gas. The front desk clerk was wonderful - helping us to get to a new room late at night.

Foi uma ótima estadia. O quarto é ótimo, muito aconchegante, apesar de compacto, a mobília muito bem planejada assim como a iluminação indireta muito confortável. Bom isolamento acústico. A limpeza estava excelente em todos os ambientes, dentro e fora dos quartos. O atendimento da equipe foi muito cordial e especialmente solícita com demandas inesperadas dos hóspedes. Café da manhã incrível! O único ponto negativo foi o colchão da cama que para meu gosto poderia ser mais firme. Tenho uma nova reserva em alguns dias e espero encontrar todas as qualidades dessa primeira experiência.

The only thing this hotel offers is convenient location! The check-in/out process was horrible and took around 35 mins to check-in and 15 mins to check-out without the staff acknowledging you at all! The hotel is old and in poor conditions. Our room had worn-out carpet that had stains; the bathroom was super tiny with scratches on the toilet seat and black mold on the shower tiles. We also discovered a big red stain on our duvet after sleeping under it for a night. Overall, with the price we paid for this hotel, I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all!

Staff were so friendly, room was spotless, and a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Lisbon.

O quarto é muito, mas muito pequeno mesmo. Não há nem uma cadeira para colocar a mala. Apesar disso, a cama é muito confortável e o banheiro, apesar de pequeno, tem um chuveiro excelente!!

Great location but NOISY! Stayed for 5 nights a few days ago. Pretty basic hotel, small room with no counter space in bathroom. Location can’t be beat. Few minutes away from Restaurodores and Rossio squares. Lots of restaurants and shopping a few steps away. However that is a double edged sword. We were at the second floor, towards the front, and even with the shutters and glass windows closed, we can still hear people in the restaurants across the narrow alley in front, dishes and silverware clinking up to way past midnight. After it gets bearable in the early morning, here comes a garbage truck! On a few nights there was even a street singer, ugh! We also couldn’t adjust the AC/heater for the first 4 nights and it was stuffy so we ended having to crack open the windows, even with the noises, which I could still hear even with earplugs. We told the front desk and the guy said the thermostat is centrally controlled so we can’t do anything about it. Thankfully on our last night they disabled the central controls and we were able to adjust the thermostat and keep the windows closed. I don’t mind basic hotels but lesson learned here, ask for a room at the back!

Room was bright and clean, quiet at bedtime. The located is convenient near the metro and train station and is walkable to many attractions, lots restaurants nearby.

Excellent location. Close to many things like stores, restaurants, tourist attractions. The front desk was super nice and helpful all the time. The rooms are very small but clean, not a big deal. The complementary breakfast was really good as well. I wouldn't doubt to stay there again.

Ótima localização, funcionários simpáticos, quarto pequeno, mas aconchegante. Único senão: barulho ensurdecedor do caminhão de lixo às 6h da manhã. Horrível!

The room was spacious and comfortable.

Room was on the small side but perfect for solo guests. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and in a perfect location very near Rossio Station. The main sights in Lisbon are walkable from the hotel.

A localização é excepcional, ao lado de duas estações do metrô e perto dos principais pontos turísticos . O ponto negativo fica pelo tamanho do quarto e banheiro que são extremamente pequenos .

We arrived early in Lisbon after an overnight flight from Toronto and were pleasantly surprised when the front desk let us check in at 11am instead of the usual 3pm — a kind gesture we appreciated. However, any relief was short-lived. As soon as we lay down to rest, loud banging from construction work right next to our room began and lasted over two hours. We were not informed about any renovation or noise prior to being assigned this room. After complaining, the front desk was able to stop the noise, but the disruption had already ruined our chance to rest. We asked for compensation, and after some hesitation, were offered breakfast — which we couldn’t attend due to exhaustion. We were also offered another room, but it was a downgrade. The receptionist said the manager would send a gift basket, which never came. We had to chase the manager down, and after an hour-long conversation, she ultimately said there was “nothing she could do” except offer 10% off — but only if we contacted Expedia directly. We then spent 5+ hours dealing with Expedia, who confirmed the hotel was unresponsive. A partial refund was eventually issued, but only due to Expedia’s support, not the hotel’s. What began as a kind welcome quickly turned into a frustrating and stressful situation. For a short trip, this had a major impact. Due to the poor handling by hotel management, I would not recommend staying here.

The people at the front desk were all helpful and friendly. Location was near good dining options, shopping and some tourist spots.

Me fue muy mal en el check in, me pidieron presenta la tarjeta bancaria de la reservación y les dije que era la misma con la que había hecho en ese momento el pago, no me creyeron y me dijeron que solo tenía que presentarla, tuve que abrir la aplicación y mostrar la reserva para demostrar lo que yo decía. Tampoco querían atenderme en español, la chica joven me atendió muy mal, la otra, un poco mayor fue más amable. El hotel muy básico, pero bien en general

Very good location for walkable access to more or less anywhere in town - & to the buses & metro for other areas. Full of choice for eating & drinking.

Room was on the small side but perfect for solo guests. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and in a perfect location very near Rossio Station. The main sights in Lisbon are walkable from the hotel.

Great location for getting to Lisbons main attractions and not too close that it’s too noisy. Metro station is short walk nearby and there are local buses and trams close by too.

Had almost no windows (one vertical one about 30 cm wide) with a few out to some scrap metal in a back courtyard, with no elevator access to the room. Breakfast was very poor. Would consider this place one step up from a hostel, but not much more than that.

Great location, great cleanliness, small room but expected, and good breakfast. Not a bad choice for value for money -taking into account all of Lisbon was expensive)

Loved my room #601 with a beautiful view from the window, with modern interiors and well designed. Jesus and Kati from reception staff was very welcoming. Buffet breakfast was of high quality.

O hotel é bom pela localização e atendimento dos recepcionistas, o quarto e banheiro eram beeeem pequenos, se for com mala de 23 kg mal consegue abrir, café da manhã fraquíssimo pelo valor cobrado 15€!
