Average DT hotel good location in Davenport. AC did not work in our room. After understanding that it did not work we gpt a new room for our second night. Big central area of hotel makes it look deserted. The restaurant, only open for breakfast has bad ventilation => small pancakes in to your room. At the gym the peleton did not work and in our new room the safe did not work and we had to call maintanance who eventually fixed it.

Pool was not working which is why we booked this hotel, tv not working, so they gave us hotel cable, which only had 3 channels and 1 of those channels was in spanish, their parking lot was full, so we had to pay for garage parking, staff was rude and not accommodating

The property was nice. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare. There were many guests at the counter complaining about parking or the lack of. One staff member handling all guests. It was a bit concerning as some people were just plain rude. The staff member kept her calm. The location is great.

Didn't like that the pool was not open

This was a really horrible stay for us. The first night we got there, one of the elevators was broken so it took about 15 minutes just to get up to our room. When we got to our room, the door was broken and we weren’t able to lock it. Instead of giving us a new room, we had to wait for maintenance to come up and show us a temporary fix to lock it for the night. They ac was SO LOUD in our room and didn’t seem to be working. There was no room service while we were gone all day on Saturday so we came back to no towels and an unmade bed. The whole place was humid and had no air. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for the price.

Adequate, clean property. Friendly and helpful staff. Fitness room, which we would have liked to use, was under renovation

Beautiful hotel, nice and clean, perfect for a short little weekend getaway for me and my daughter. The only downside was that the pool area was closed for maintenance.

I appreciated the nice view and clean beds, but overall, the place was uncomfortable. There were drip buckets all over, and the pool was unclean, with clumps of hair floating in the water along with a lot of bubbles and other debris. The breakfast was extremely expensive, and I wouldn't recommend this place for families with kids. My first stay in Davenport was disappointing, and I was not pleased with the experience.

The rear entrance door handicap auto door did not work. Too many add on costs, ie parking, water in the room, pricey breakfast etc that other hotels offer in thier room prices.

Cleaning of rooms could be better Older property but could refinish some things to make it nicer Floors in our room could be been cleaned better and bathroom shower floor and floor in bath both needed to be redone or spruced up a bit

My room was terribly dirty. I would have requested a new room but I had a very busy schedule planned and did not have time to do so.

I am very upset, i found a bed bug at the property in my room and was not able to sleep on the bed

Check in was a breeze, unfortunately I was given the key to a room that was occupied by a family and that was an ordeal. Eventually I got a room but the bathroom floor and shower were dirty. The bedding was clean but the floors were dirty. The door was hard to close, needs to be adjusted.

There was no soap in the bathroom. The room smelled like someone died in it. And when we got home we found a live cockroach in our duffel bag. We will NEVER stay there again!!

General experience was okay, the bathroom of the room stayed in was filthy and smelled like a dirty rag was used to wipe down surfaces.. there was hair still in the shower and on the sink when we arrived that was not ours. After having a damage deposit accepted it kept trying to charge my card repeatedly as well for what I assume was that?

Our room was filthy. My kids wore their sandals in the shower it was so gross. There was even tape left on the wall from a sign that was hung prior to us checking in.

Cool elevator. Comfortable bed. Filty shower. Very loud road noise most of the night.

Bad smell as we entered the room that persisted the enter stay. Toilet seat broken. Sink dirty. Mold in vent might be source of bad smell. The dry wall around window appears to have water damage and was falling apart. Staff was great. The condition of the room was poor. We were surprised and shocked by it. We will most likely not return to this location. We have business that will bring us to town often. We will look for a new hotel.

The staff was very accommodating with a request I had. I’ve seen others here comment on the air conditioning, and that it wasn’t working properly. I had the same experience— the thermostat was set to 65, but the air blowing out was not cool enough.. it was JUST A LITTLE too warm in the room, and I could not get the AC to go any colder. And it was a little sticky/humid as well. ALSO— there was little to no water pressure in the bathroom sink. Other than that, I have no real complaints. The room was clean and as I mentioned earlier, the staff members I interacted with were very accommodating.

I had cold water for my shower last night and this morning. I had no conditioner in the shower so I couldn’t properly wash my hair. The breakfast was 18$ a person which is outrageous considering I already paid 230$ for a hotel room without hot water. The WiFi wouldn’t connect to my phone with my login credentials they told me to use. Will never come back to this hotel, overall one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. Doubletree By Hilton said if you guys call them or contact them, that they will compensate me for my stay, that since I booked through you guys that you guys would have to reach out for me. Please reach out and get me some type of compensation

The location was excellent. Very close to our event, and plenty of food, bar choices nearby. The staff was also polite and very pleasant from front desk to bartender. Here, however were my issues. 1. When you make a reservation (2-months in advance) for a King room, you EXPECT a King Room will be there. LEARNING THEY WERE "OUT OF THEM" BECAUSE THEY GIVE THEM AWAY AS PEOPLE SHOW UP, TELLS ME (you clearly overbooked the amt. of King rooms you had.) As Seinfeld once said, "You TAKE the reservation. What you don't seem able to do is "HOLD" the reservation. That was a BIG miss. Of course, there was no talk of refund or price break. Just an "I'm sorry, we are full up tonight and a double room is all we have left." YES, THAT IS WHY I MADE A RESERVATION TWO MONTHS AGO! A couple minor issues were, no parking available in their lot. no tv remote in the room. Had to call to get one. Look, the place got slammed because Bob Dylan was in one venue and Carlos Santana was at another on the same Tuesday night. I get it. THAT doesn't usually happen, but I reserved a room. I would like to think reservation means what we have always understood it means.

The stay was okay overall, but it didn’t feel worth the price. Unfortunately, we were woken up multiple times during the night—around 1 and 2 AM—by loud shouting. I understand there’s an open area for guests to socialize, but the noise echoed through the hotel and made it difficult to sleep. Implementing quiet hours would really help improve the experience for those who are trying to rest.

The staff was phenomenal. The hotel is nice. Room was clean. The only drawback is the room was warm without a way to cool it down unless the window was open. The train came by twice and there was a bit of road noise. I would stay on the city side next time.

The room was nice and spacious. We were there with a large group and everyone reported temperature control issues. The rooms were very hot and staff reported a boiler issue.

Had a king room reserved and they stuck us in a double queen. And all I got is “sorry, we’re booked.” So much for reservations and customer service!

When we arrived early with the intention to ask to leave our bags, there was no one at reception. When a woman finally appeared her first words were its too early to check in. No good morning no welcome to the Hilton. Very unwelcoming. Then we were charged for breakfast when our booking through Expedia included breakfast. When I spoke to the manager Christine she initially said that I would have to follow that up with Expedia it was nothing to do with them. When I prompted her to take a further look into the booking, she told me to come back in half an hour. When I came back, I showed her my booking confirming it included breakfast she said she would sort it out and refund the charges. She gave me a voucher to show for breakfast the following mornings. They have not refunded me my $38. I have sent them an email 4 days ago. I have had no reply and no refund. I am very disappointed in Hilton. This is an international hotel chain. Very unprofessional attitude. Very poor customer service. Reception could do with some meet and greet training.

Stayed Saturday, 12/16/23. The hotel was nice, but there is definitely room for improvement. Check in was at 4:00 pm, we got there at 6:10 , and there was a line, and only one person working. We booked and paid for a king room in October, and we were told there were no more king rooms available. Elizabeth was great, she changed our room rate, we'll see if we actually get a credit for the difference, and gave us a complimentary breakfast. The room was nice and clean. The hotel overall was very warm, and only had one working elevator.

Front desk clerk was unwilling to listen to customer. Rude and called male in our party a female , “just to see if he was listening”

Front staff was great. Even helped print my sons school test.

I booked through expedia for two nights. I had a confirmation number and everything. After the first night I was told I had to check out, they needed to clean the room for the next guest. I said I have this room for two nights (I was already charged through Expedia for both nights). They said no, there is a problem with Expedia. So, I had to book another night and pay again, because I needed the room. I have been dealing with this with Expedia and they are saying it's the hotel who isn't willing to reimburse, and the hotel is saying it's Expedia. I just know I paid for a room twice, and I can't get reimbursed. I don't know if the front desk person didn't know what she was doing, and only saw the reservation for one night or what happened. I have gotten no where with Expedia or the hotel. The room was dirty. The floors and the bathroom were gross. I literally told my kids to not take their shoes off unless they were lying in bed. It's too bad as this could be such a nice hotel.

The door to the room was hard to open and close. The AC in the room didn’t work and leaked all night. When mentioned to a worker no apology was given, they just “wrote it down in a book” and went on with their day. Terrible customer service

Our Christmas visit to family was wonderful. Downtown Doubletree is in a great walkable area. The hotel is newly renovated renovated and very clean. Nathan the manager is helpful for everything you might need. The bartender is efficient and friendly. Na

Room was great. Nathan and Tiffani were so so so exceptional!! We thought the fact in our shower was broke but turns out it was just extremely tight to turn. When I contacted them I got nothing but amazing customer service. They made our stay the best. They made us feel like we were very important. Thank you Nathan and Tiffani!!!

Good location for the music events we come down for!

Hotel is very nice. Lobby is beautiful and rooms very nice also. Located very close to Adler Theater which was nice. Downsides: short staffed during check in. One person. Stood behind 10 people. She did a good job but wish she’d had help. Our heat was off in our room and it was still so hot in there. We were able to open the window for 2 hours so that it wasn’t sooo hot to try to sleep. 2 elevators but one was broken. Breakfast variety was well intentioned but the cook had one day training and was struggling. Understandable. Other staff at the breakfast area kept apologizing but did little to nothing to help. Felt for the poor guy on his second day. He was trying very hard. My biggest disappointment was …no cookies! They are known for their cookies and there were never any made available. Asked about it at checkout and he just shrugged it off and said they don’t get around to making them. Then I would remove the signage they gave all over promoting their cookies. I realize many places are short staffed and I wore my patient and understanding the whole time. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Loved the location too. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance too.

Great location on the Mississippi River. Easy parking with on premise restaurant and bar. It's an easy walk to other dining options. The building interior is very impressive and the rooms are spacious and clean. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Chose the hotel because it was within walking distance to the theater I was going to that evening. Loved the flooring that was in our room. Room was spacious. Unfortunately our room was on the side of the hotel near railroad tracks. Only a couple trains passed by during the night. On the plus side we had a nice view of the Mississippi River. Loved the cookie!

Conveniently located across the street from the river event Center where my business was for this trip.

Super quiet and comfortable! Common areas were nice but some of it could have used a little tlc. Great location with lots of bars, restaurants and theater.

Had to pay like 11$ for some breakfast plus pay to park. These weren’t listed on hotels.com. The breakfast was horrible attempted to serve me a burnt omelet. Plus the price was tripled to normal due to a competition in town. The following week it was 130$. Makes me feel super taken advantage of I have stayed with many other Hilton branded hotels but these was one of the worst stays.

Huge issue though is no morning coffee for early risers. That's penny wise and pound foolish. Loved your hotel, but likely will be staying at other hotels as a result.

We really liked the on-site lounge and restaurant. After a busy day of traveling it is nice to be able to go back to the hotel and relax without having to go out. There restaurant has a nice selection of food. We ordered dinner and everyone was able to get something they liked. We were even able to order drinks from the lounge and have them with dinner. Breakfast was great as well. Breakfast is sever buffet style. The staff kept the breakfast items stocked and checked in on us periodically to clear plates and bring items. The staff at this location make it a great place to stay. They are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. The pool is nice, as is the gym. Pool and gym hours are very convenient! The rooms are modern. With that being said, it is clear that maintenance and repairs are needed. There are many small things that need attention. Just a few things we noticed/experienced: broken chair in our room, TV not functioning properly, burned out light in bathroom, leaking shower head, LOUD air conditioning unit in room, shower door would not stay closed. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We were seeing a show at the Adler Theater and the hotel is 4 minutes waking distance. There are quite a few places around the hotel to check out as well.

They took care of any problem ASAP. The food was excellent. Great Breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean. The employees were always helpful. The Hotel was surrounded with many great restaurants.

The staff were great, the hotel was clean but the only complaint i have is that for a breakfast that is $15/adult it would of been nice if the food was hot. The spoons were hotter than the food. By the time i made a plate got to the table everything was almost ice cold. The coffee was stale and not hot either. On the bright sode the bar food at night was pretty good and reasonably priced.
