Easy access to kicking horse ski resort. Rooms were clean, offered complimentary nespresso pods, water, pop and snacks in the room. Offered a free specialty coffee at the neighbour bakery/cafe Ample parking. Very clean and spacious. Soaps were from aesop.

Mybroom on the river was excellent. Entry to the building was tricky, although I was tired. I couldn't figure our where the parking was, but street parking on the weekend was free and convenient.

We arrived at night and were quite confused as to where to park as there wasn't any clear signage and very little lighting. The parking lot felt quite dark and small, and when it said we needed a permit, i wasnt sure where to get it from. Found the permit in the room. Room was very clean and modern, and the text message to have our room temperature pre set was a very nice feature! Some visible pricing labelling for the snacks in the room would also be helpful. Overall, a very nice room and would stay again!

Clear and easy communication through Whatsapp, especially useful for parking instructions. Spacious room, underfloor heating in the bathroom (really nice for a stay in early Nov!). Central location, right by the river. Complimentary snacks and drinks was a nice touch.

The room itself is newly remodeled and spotless. The back-facing window of the room overlooks a newly renovated riverwalk, with a small seating area that is nicely appointed. The facility itself is a bit odd (a single door entry to the main street of town). Five rooms off one corridor. Prior to check out I exited the front door and was not able to return through the main entry, so I had to walk around to the back door. The town itself is a work in progress--- lots of construction on the main drag and not much to do in the shoulder season.

Exceptional views! Walking path right outside your private patio gate beside the Kicking Horse River. Several great restaurants 2-5 min walk. Room is spacious with lots of extras. Heated bathroom floors, under sink lighting, cold drinks and sweet treats. And very clean!

We loved our stay - for the price we were a bit concerned but all the Expedia reviews were positive so we booked a stay! The room was large and immaculate with too many “extra” touches to list. The river and walkway are right outside the back door and yummy restaurants a stones throw away. Would definitely stay again

This was my second stay at Rooms at Riversedge. The communication before my arrival was clear and the room was very clean and comfortable. They even asked what temperature I would like the room set for my arrival! Great restaurants just a few minutes walk away from the room. This is definitely my favourite place to stay in Golden.

I never write reviews, but felt compelled to recommend this place! Relatively easy to find, great communication (for contactless check in and out), beautiful riverside location close to great restaurants and stores (the bookstore and bakery next door are amazing), super clean and modern room with comfy bed and fancy shower ;), and other amenities that made the stay extra special (Nespresso coffee, Aesop bathroom products, cozy robes, charging stations…)! There’s parking quite close, a gated patio for each room, and easy access to a river walk. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

It was a return trip and we love it! But we found the check in system a little difficult as we had no roaming data. We also found some of the hi tech facilities a little baffling! The WiFi was also a little erratic. But overall a great place!

Great modern, clean room. It had snacks and little things like toothbrush, lighted/ heated floors, apple accessories, fireplace for heat and cold air. Would stay again. Easy in and out. Quick response. Perfect trip. Only thing which was minor. Should have towels to match number of people. Excellent stay and place. Love river behind with patio.

Excellent room. Great location along the river with several tempting restaurants close by. Hard to find in an unconventional location and set up with no on-site staff. Even once you get in the door there isn’t a sign welcoming you and confirming that you are in the right place. Luckily, housekeeping staff were still there and were helpful. They try to help with frequent texts. This is a nice place. Just be prepared for the adventure of finding it. And read the confirmation completely and in detail regarding parking, etc.

The instructions necessary for checking in were accurate but difficult to understand. Having to provide all kinds of information AFTER booking the room but before being provided with the requisite check-in details was annoying and concerning. We had been in areas with nearly zero cell service prior to arrival, AND THEN had to provide lots of information on the fly. This was very inconvenient. Worse still, the entry code only worked on one of the two access doors even though it should have worked for both. ALSO the people in the area made for a sketchy experience. At one point, two people began using our supposedly private patio to make a film. They just walked up, opened the gate, and took over. We also saw some different people walking up to the patio of the room next door, and peering into the room. CREEPY!! The hotel has zero security but definitely needs it. Finally, the air conditioning unit did nothing whatsoever to cool our room. We ended up turning it off and opening the windows. The upshot of that was all kinds of noise from passersby entering and our room. Bottom line: STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES HERE.

This is a unique experience. It's a boutique hotel/motel, where booking the room, and all interactions are all done online and through text. That is what is good, but also what can be challenging about this place. No front desk = no people = no answer! It's a beautiful and relaxing spot for your stay. The rooms are spacious, and the heated bathroom floor is so, so nice! The LED color changing - wall mounted - fireplace sets the ambience, while your watching Disney , Netflix, Amazon prime, or regular boring tv channels. The covered outdoor patio is the ultimate hang out spot while you listen to the river cascade a few feet away! Oh, and if you have flowers planted outside your patio, watch and wait for the hummingbirds!! It's a nice touch to offer a cart full of chocolate, Pringles, Cheezies and non alcoholic beverages to the patrons, and at fair prices! The mountain views are stunning, but you have to look past the disarray of the jumbled mess of the yard across the river. At least 4 restaurants are within a short walk from your room right along side the river. 7-11 is also right across the street, if you have the late night munchies. No need to drive anywhere! Here's the downside- Expect that if you have any issues or questions after 9 pm, that they won't be a priority or possibly even answered until after 9 am. Patience young padawan. Stay, or stay not. There is no choice. But stay. You'll likely love it!

Awesome room with close proximity to key town conveniences. Loved the decor and interior. Nicely stocked complimentary fridge with snacks. Upgraded accomodations with lots of extras like a fireplace, robes, etc. Easy remote check in and quick replies to questions.

Such a great stay here. We were driving from Kelowna and Golden was a half way point for us to get back to Calgary. We drove right by it, as it’s just a door with a wooden sign hanging above the door. Communication was excellent, they texted us to let us know our room was ready. They even asked what temperature we wanted the room to be and they texted us to let us know our back door was unlocked and then they locked it remotely because we were already sleeping. Check-in was smooth. Hubby couldn’t see the keypad and a woman was going into the bakery next door and asked if we needed help. She said if we needed help to just come into the bakery. We got in after I took over. Room was spacious, the king bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable !! Even the sheets were nice. View of the rushing river out the back door was nice. And even the sound of the train wasn’t a bother at all. A great bakery right next door, so much to choose from and I probably tried more than I should have. Shower in bathroom is great, although my hubby didn’t really like it. Check out at 12 was a bonus. Did I mention how comfortable the king bed was ? Only 2 not so great things. Coffee cups need to be bigger (but then that’s a pet peeve I have with all hotels) and the wi-fi could be a bit stronger. I had to do some work and it was pretty slow and weak, but I survived. All in all a great stay for the one night we stayed. Oh, and did I mention how comfy the king bed was ?

First time we stayed here. I thought it might be noisy being so close to the highway, but it was really great. The hall noise is minimal and the location was perfect. Everything we enjoy is within walking distance. They don't have an ice machine but the bar fridge chilled everything we brought nicely. We'd love to come back again.

What a wonderful find! The rooms are impeccable and the location along the river is amazing! Close to restaurants, shopping and walking paths, its a true gem in Golden! We loved out stay, communication with staff is easy and quick. Stop by the bakery next door, their London fog tea and baked goods are delicious. Would absolutely book again if staying in the area.

I had an amazing stay her while on a ski trip to Kicking Horse. The room is very comfortable and modern with plenty of room to store gear and relax after exploring the rockies! The location is perfect, next to the river and by fun shops, restaurants and bars. There is no front desk, and all the check in is done online. It was simple and easy, with plenty of support from management for any questions or issues.

Very nice room. Great location—right on the river and within walking distance of many restaurants including a bakery next door. Also right on a walking/running trail that circumnavigates the town. My husband and I ran a 6 mile loop on it. We also had front row seats from our patio to the sight of small bear enjoying a dip in the river. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great place to stay. Plenty of dining options within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner and very safe to walk around. Very clean, great riverside views. Great room. Could go on and on but if you want to stay in Golden (which is great) then this is the place.
