Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa

Elevator not working, and not told except by bell boy when we arrived at our building. I asked the front desk staff and was told repair scheduled for next day. Was never fixed. Although I'm in good shape 4 flights down/up was not enjoyable. The upper floors of the building should not have been used with the broken elevator. Staff needs to be informed of actual facts on reapirs. I will not stay at a Dreams (or in their corporate group hotels) again.sl

The staff was great al the time, specially Gerry and Victoria, they make us feel comfortable at any moment. Great staff awesome property

Nice resort with very friendly & helpful staff. We had a medical situation & Samuel helped us which we greatly appreciated. Everyone was super friendly & eager to make sure we had an enjoyable vacation. The grounds are pretty but the pools were in need of cleaning. The buffet did not have a lot of options so that was a little bit disappointing but there are several restaurants on the resort to choose from. The restaurants alternative days they are closed so make sure you pay attention to that schedule & get to dinner when they open, otherwise expect a wait. The beach is sandy but beware as the water is mostly coral so it can be very tricky getting in & out, definitely recommend water shoes. The water was beautiful! They are remodeling the resort in between Dreams & Secrets so there was a lot of construction noise while laying on the beach. We stayed in building 34 at Dreams so we did not hear it from our room. We just had to walk down the beach to Secrets to enjoy some peace on the beach. They have free kayaking for 30 mins, a fun bar with swings, nightly activities & a club that never had anyone In it. Overall it was a good experience

The room was clean. Was not given enough towels.

We arrive at 830pm and wanted to have some dinner, the buffett had just a few options and they never fill them, also the final of the soccer game for mexican league was live and they didnt have a place were you can watch it. We had 4 rooms, we were celebrating a grandmas birthday, in one section the elevator didnt work for the whole stay, in other for a couple of days the air condition wasnt working. At Satuday there was a Wedding in the hotel and basically all the hotel was for it, for all the rest guests they put some tables in the parking lot and thats were you can have dinner, they also closed the bar so there wasnt any other place you can go. As we were in a family trip we want to seat togheter, but they told us we cant in all places, no accomodattion for 12 persons can be in the whole trip, we sat in different tables. In the birthday we asked if they can sound the happy birtday song to grandma but they say as there was a wedding they cant. For Sunday breakfast we asked for some coffee and incredibly the coffee tasted like saaaaalt!!, the staff told us it was a mistake they made regarding the wedding event. Regarding salt, every time you take a shower, wash your hands or brush your theeth the water tasted a lot of salt, so maybe the coffee tasted like salt due to they used that water. At the end our time flight was 830pm, no late check out, so we made by 12pm and it was a completly hard process so they can provide where to take a shower. Basically the worst experience
