The photos shown online do not match the reality of the property. The large reception and dining area are no longer used. Units are tired, especially bathrooms. No shower caddy or soap dish to put anything on. Was given a hairdryer when asked. Did some laundry which was very reasonably priced but room was very shabby. Staff at reception were excellent and always helpful. Footscray is an interesting ethnic area. Very close to central Melb and 20 min walk to train station. Quite different eating options. Well worth a try.

Good location for football the adjacent university and my trip. Footscray tram out front to the city great open space parking Comfortable bed and couch in spacious room. New AC Needs better cleaning in shower base and taps all dripped. Easy to fix Doors are not great at blocking sounds of others outside not glamorous but I'd base myself here again

The location was convenient, however it was not a very nice place to stay. Why? Well.... - Pillows were so old they were separating on the inside, - The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, - There was mould under the kitchen cupboards, - No plates or cutlery, only 1 teaspoon, - There was no restaurant on the property, - The laundry was a dark dingy room that I was afraid to enter, - Dirty bedding trolleys stored right outside our door, - Dirty ashtrays outside rooms, promoting smoking on the premises (right at the door of each room). - Walls in the room where scuffed and dirty The only reason we stayed is because other places that we wanted to move to were booked.

Staff at reception were great to deal with and helpful with how to use the transport system. The dining room is closed and the laundry said to be available in the advertising of the site was utilised by the cleaning staff so was difficult to gain access to. The kitchenette and room we had were dirty and needed a good clean. New cleaning staff definitely required who take pride in their work. I would stay there again as it is convenient to transport and Footscray central but would ask for a quieter room (especially around the weekend) and take my own cleaning gear!!!

This property seems caught in the 1979's. The welcome at the front desk was warm. The one-bedroomed apartment had limited parking. The apartment was comfortable with a large bed in the bedroom and smaller bed in the lounge. There were facilities to make your own breakfast. The bathroom was quite basic with a floor which needed a steam clean. The shower was surprisingly good but the water drained away very slowly. All-in-all a comfortable stay with prices that don't match the amenities.

This motel was dirty , dusty, grimy. Burn marks all over the carpet. Burn marks on the bench tops . Rangehood covered with grime and grease. Broken power point behind bed Bed board scratched paintwork Hooks on the wall with no paintings/prints Mould In the bathroom Broken towel rail Hair on the bathroom floor and grime Urine on the base of the toilet Toilet brush filthy Skirting boards covered in dust Flyscreens ripped Freezer in very small bar fridge compacted with ice so you couldn’t fit anything in. Dirty sock under lounge !! OMG I Could go on and on It was the worst , and I checked out the next morning I had to clean the room before I could sleep They gave me 2 white washers and some shampoo tubes to clean with The washers were black when I finished UNBELIEVABLE When I checked out the next morning there were NO Housekeepers on site , no trolleys no NOTHING! The exterior was dirty and unkempt. No Dining facilities. You had to ask for milk No wine glasses I’m the room. Hair on the crockery in the drawer. I am pursuing a refund with WOTIF as my health was placed in danger at the Footscray Motor Inn. ABSOLUTELY DIRTY.

I found someone's else doll, clothing and dirty socks in the room. At night woke up with brawl outside. Table lamp was broken, doap holder in shower broken, so could only keep toothbrush and soap on the shower floor, made a video of bed bug when woke early, smashed it to make a blood splash, found cigarett but wrapped in bedding inpecting my mattress for more bugs. Kitchen didn't work despite breakfast still advertised. Can keep going on with lesser issues, this place is a last resort...

The pillows stank from the sweat of a thousand heads, there was black mould in the bathroom, stains on the furniture. No hair dryer, no toaster. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. No doona on the bed, just a thin old smelly blanket hidden inside the sheets. No extra blankets or pillows to be found. Had potential to be better if the room had a good clean, pillows replaced. Beds properly made with better bedding, carpet & upholstery cleaned. Felt a bit overpriced for what you got.

While most staff were absolutely lovely, my room had stab marks and slashes in the wall as well as smears of something red brown coloured on the walls as well as hairs still under the toilet seat and scum all over the shower, the mini fridge was disgusting and I had to pay a $200 deposit on a $122 dollar room that was putrid. And I honestly feel this review is generous and forgiving.

The property is in a good location and the room I stayed in was relatively quiet, although there was some noise traffic, but that didn’t really bother me too much. Whilst the bed was comfortable and the room a good size, it could have done with a good clean. There was a lot of dust on the range hood & bedside tables and behind the couch. Overall a comfortable stay.

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Both in need of a revamp, but not a consideration for not staying. Receptionist was fantastic. Extremely hospitable and accommodating. Good value but a lot of street noise. Probably would stay again.

Slow service, slow internet, dints in walls, a $200 bond that was not shown on the booking before arrival, bad location and locals that wanted to get into our room, their bar is just one mini fridge with a slab of drinks in it.

A very average motel in need of repairs. No towel rack in bathroom, slope of bathroom meant water ran out into living area. Freezer in small fridge completely iced over taking up half of fridge space. Lamp shade in tatters, bedside table filthy and sticky. People allowed to smoke on balcony outside rooms so smoke constantly drifting in. On positive side, reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and rooms are cheap, and hotel convenient if you need to be in Footscray area. With new hospital opening around corner, some investment in upgrades would yield a quick return for sure.

Great place to stay for a quick visit. I was only in the property at night to sleep, which was perfect. Nothing fancy, big enough for 3 people. Everything you need for a basic short stay. Surrounded by amazing food locations.

Our Executive room that was able to sleep 3 with king bed & single bed had a total of 4 pillows with no extra bedding in the cupboards. Missing - towel rails, soap holder in shower that had a malfunctioning shower head & hairdryer. It had 2 glasses, 3 different cups, 1 bed light that needed changing. We reported the shower head issue but was not fixed for our 2nd day. Breakfast was not an option or offered. We will not be stopping there ever again.

i wanted to book near the eateries and shopping... location was perfect... the only thing... no cutlery... and cupboard was abit run down and not as clean... having said that, it was good overall.. Recommended

A disappointing stay. I was looking forward to a cuppa, but they had no fresh milk, only UHT which doesn't make a good cuppa. They also had no biscuits to go with a cuppa. My TV remote was missing a battery so I needed to call reception to come and rectify it. Overall sub-standard
