I really liked this hotel. The room was large in size and everything was clean and new looking. Bed was comfortable. They had all these really unique light fixtures. Love the light up mirror. I really liked the pool area, even though it’s near a road and walkway it’s fenced and with pretty plants and private. Kinda bummed the hot tub wasn’t in service. Price was good and I’d definitely stay here again if I come through.

Even extra switches that don’t do anything, probably for more future lights. The only thing I couldn’t do in this room is have a bath in the dark. Honestly, great value, would stay again, only complaint was they advertised a hot tub, and it wasn’t accessible. Did I mention the lights?

Parking was easy. I called ahead about early check-in and they were accommodating. There were only 2 pillows on each bed which made out stay for 3 difficult, but we figured it out. Overall, very clean, would stay again. Will try pool and hot tub next time

The GoodSpring Motel provides excellent value for cost. The rooms were recently remodeled with modern lighting fixtures finishes and controls. The staff were extremely polite and professional. The pool was a pleasant and quiet respite where we enjoyed our morning coffee.

This was close proximity to my conference so walking was a plus. There is a small shopping area with coffee available and food. Easy on/off access to Hwy 29. Free parking!!

The owners are kind and professional. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well organized. Just an absolutely wonderful place to stay while enjoying the wine country. Also, shopping directly across the street, as well as a Starbucks and a super clean and efficient laundromat. All welcome when traveling for an extended.!!

All in all, the staff were polite enough, but I wouldn't stay here again. The TV satellite system was not working (hence no TV in any of the rooms) and the staff couldn't do anything to correct it. I was in a room on the end that backed up to an outside alley way. There were people outside (homeless? druggies?) talking loud enough that I heard them until 1:30-2:00 AM. The heater was very loud and it cycled off and on during the night, waking me up. I finally turned it off.

The Room was clean & nicer than I expected. The cleaning lady had compassion on us, but the main manager did not. My Husband just came from Surgery & could not sleep laying flat - it was pulling teeth to get extra pillows! (The pillows were small & not very good to begin with.)

Really enjoyed the stay. We were looking for a reasonable price place to stay for an overnight family trip to Napa. This place looked good and the reviews were excellent so we went for it. Initially pulling in to the parking lot the Family had some doubts as it looked a little tired but I said hey it’s one night and they have a pool. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised! We had wine and charcuterie at the pool and had it to ourselves. The staff was amazingly friendly. We will stay here again. The price belies the star rating. If the hotel put more pillows on the beds and upped the towel game (budget motel towels were a disappointment) they would be full every night. That is constructive advice and in no way diminishes the how much we enjoyed it!

An unruly couple arrived next door to our room around midnight and commenced to scream and yell at each other. (Imagine horror movie screams) this went on for over three hours. I called the night manager around 3:00 a.m. and her response was “I don’t know what to do”. The screaming match went on for another hour and a half so we were deprived of nearly five hours of sleep. The owners response the next morning was “oh well”. No apology, no explanation no nothing. The night manager’s response shows a total lack of training and the owner’s response shows a total disregard for the safety and quiet enjoyment of the premises which is a basic right when renting a room. Will never stay there again and strongly recommend you choose the same path. Clearly the worst night of any motel/hotel in our 50 years of travel. Stay there at your own risk!

Wish front desk lady was more friendly. Rooms are nice. I checked out and asked to stay at pool for couple hours, she really give me hard feelings. I never had this problem before. If I wasn’t stay at the hotel I understand. Just not going to stay at this place again.

The lady at the front desk got our room ready early so that we could change our clothes quickly and head to a wedding in St. Helena on time. She also pointed out a great restaurant where we could have breakfast. Very helpful!!!!

We had to a book a motel at the last minute due to an issue with our Airbnb. We were really happy with our stay at Goodspring. The most important things in an inexpensive hotel to me are: mattress quality, noise, cleanliness. Goodspring received top marks on each. The staff was easy-going and easy to communicate with. It had the feel of a mom and pop shop in which the staff recognizes you and cares about your experience. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a modest but comfortable place in the Valley. I also appreciated how close it was to so many grocery stores, markets, coffee shops etc. Also, the TV works and has Netflix!

There was a great deal of noise and activity at 3 am Sunday morning. There was also a great deal of transient and police activity. The only food available are at a supermarket nearby and a Roundtable Pizza. There aren't any vending machines on site! Downtown Napa is driving distance and the location of the property isn't very appealing. An adjacent motel has a heavy security presence.Way over priced!!!

Recently renovated as others have noted, this motel offers great value for money, especially given the cost of Napa Valley lodging options. It has a terrific central location and minutes from wineries and downtown Napa given its proximity to CA29. Staff very friendly and helpful!

The owners are kind and professional. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well organized. Just an absolutely wonderful place to stay while enjoying the wine country. Also, shopping directly across the street, as well as a Starbucks and a super clean and efficient laundromat. All welcome when traveling for an extended.!!

There was a great deal of noise and activity at 3 am Sunday morning. There was also a great deal of transient and police activity. The only food available are at a supermarket nearby and a Roundtable Pizza. There aren't any vending machines on site! Downtown Napa is driving distance and the location of the property isn't very appealing. An adjacent motel has a heavy security presence.Way over priced!!!

Really enjoyed the stay. We were looking for a reasonable price place to stay for an overnight family trip to Napa. This place looked good and the reviews were excellent so we went for it. Initially pulling in to the parking lot the Family had some doubts as it looked a little tired but I said hey it’s one night and they have a pool. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised! We had wine and charcuterie at the pool and had it to ourselves. The staff was amazingly friendly. We will stay here again. The price belies the star rating. If the hotel put more pillows on the beds and upped the towel game (budget motel towels were a disappointment) they would be full every night. That is constructive advice and in no way diminishes the how much we enjoyed it!

This motel was a great find I will stay again. Great value for Napa, about a third less than other places. If you’re in Napa for the food and wine and go to your hotel to sleep this is for you. Walkable to breakfast, coffe, Trader Joe’s, Wholefoods. Had mini fridge for your wine and leftovers. Room was spotless, full length mirror, new bathroom, and flooring throughout. Check in and out easy. And an icemaker so you can keep your wine cool on the drive home. If you are practical you will love this place.

This was the perfect convenient stay! Some of the best prices in Napa. I only needed a place for one night and this location was fantastic. It took only about 10-30 minutes to get to all the food places and wineries I wanted to hit. We stayed in room 113 and it was newly renovated, clean, comfortable beds and bedding. It also had a really nice vanity area as well. Free and easy parking. Would stay again!

The lady at the front desk got our room ready early so that we could change our clothes quickly and head to a wedding in St. Helena on time. She also pointed out a great restaurant where we could have breakfast. Very helpful!!!!

We had to a book a motel at the last minute due to an issue with our Airbnb. We were really happy with our stay at Goodspring. The most important things in an inexpensive hotel to me are: mattress quality, noise, cleanliness. Goodspring received top marks on each. The staff was easy-going and easy to communicate with. It had the feel of a mom and pop shop in which the staff recognizes you and cares about your experience. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a modest but comfortable place in the Valley. I also appreciated how close it was to so many grocery stores, markets, coffee shops etc. Also, the TV works and has Netflix!

This property has recently been updated in such a cute and functional way with storage and sitting areas. I was in town for a class, so I appreciated the desk area. The little fridge was great to keep my yogurt, wine cheeses for the week. The the cost to quality ratio is exceptional. Easy to the highway and Uber to downtown The owners were very sweet as well.

We stayed 4 nights. Staff was polite. On check-in our host asked if we would like housekeeping every day multiple times and multiple times I said Yes. This was not followed up on. Towels and sheets were rough. Bed was broken down. Pool is stained and uninviting. It was nowhere near the listing photos.
