I made two separate reservations for this motel requesting a ground floor room due to mobility issues and being a senior. When I arrived, I was booked into a second floor room and the motel does not have an elevator. The desk clerk said I should “look at another property”. The manager quickly came to the front and found me a ground floor room. I stayed two nights and checked out for one night to attend a funeral in another city but before I left, I told the front desk clerk that I would return the next day. He said I was booked into the same room, no problem! When I returned, the clerk said I could stay in the room one night only and would have to move to another room for the second night which was more expensive. Because I booked through Expedia, I was not eligible to receive the Seniors Discount.

I was riding a motorcycle and needed a room where I can park my bike right in front of my room. The lady at the check-in was very accommodating and switched my preassigned room to one that worked for me. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. I was happy with everything.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and nice. My room was up a flight of stairs and they helped carry my heavy bag. It’s a quick trip to the airport and they offer long term parking at a reasonable cost. White Spot is right next door. Everything was great for a one night stay.

The first room floor was so dirty had to keep shoes on and it had a smell. The second room was better, as it had a sink within the washroom with a tub/shower.

Room was spotless! I went for surgery and was pleased to see how clean it was. I felt safe! Staff were extremely accommodating and even let me stay late while i waited for my flight. Also you get a credit at White Spot! Excellent location. Great walkjng path along ocean very close by. Very patient and kind staff, even when customers were being very rude to them.

Beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed. The floors were very dirty however, our feet were black after walking around the room which was pretty gross. There was also a dead bug stuck to the wall above the shower in the bedroom. Otherwise beds were comfortable and linens were clean.

Our Television in our room did not work and was only repaired shortly before we had to leave we had to call front desk several times and it seemed the staff did not pass on messages when their was a shift change as it seemed they didn’t know I had called several times

The lady that checked me in was very kind. The room was fine but the bathroom was tight. The shower stall was barely big enough to turn around in and the toilet area was also a little narrow.

Rooms were nicely updated had everything you needed. It was very comfortable. The bed was very soft and comfortable. My only downfall was the air conditioners did not do the job. They should take the ones that are in the back walls behind the doors and install them like the ones under the windows.

The room was fine but it was located in an area that was a long walk for my limited-mobility mom. Also, it could have used a bit more furniture, the table and chairs was under the tv so was a little inconvenient. A dresser style unit that could hold the fridge and microwave would have been better.

We called in advance to let them know we are not going to be there for night 1 of 2 night stay as they would not let us drop the first night without cancelling the whole reservation. Our team contacted hotels.com 3 times to discuss this and twice with Motel 6. They both knew our situation. On night 1 (before our team arrived) I received a call at 230am I’m assuming to let me know they are no showing our rooms? Regardless terrible experience and the service was horrible. Hotels.com helped slightly but our team of three people were out of luck and had no rooms in the city. We had to get couches for them to stay on. I somehow feel we got the level of service that is standard from a Motel 6. Dumpster fire or an experience.

Friendly staff at the desk but they seemed overwhelmed and 1/2 of them seemed like they didn't understand how to do their job. We tried to check in early but couldn't, which is fine, she said she would take my number and call when room was ready and never called. We went back 30 mins after normal check in time to find they had now lost our reservation. Thankfully another staff member was able to help but our kids had to wait over 30 mins in the car while we checked in. Room was clean but no plug ins free, toilet clogged and shower head broken.

Check in and check out were fast and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and the grounds themselves were nicely cared for. It was close to restaurants, a pub and even a gas station. Would definitely come again.

I was really impressed by this motel! The room was clean and comfortable but what really stood out was the service from the staff. Not only were they friendly and professional but they went out of their way to help me and even followed up to make sure everything was fine. Service that went beyond that found in much pricier hotels! I booked there because they were pet friendly and did charge a lot extra per day for the dogs to stay but I will stay again because of their great service.

Next to Highway , close to Airport and the Butchart Garden, it is very easy to go places . we can spend two hours inside the Butchart Garden on the last evening before we take the early flight leaving Victoria .. Try to ask for room away from the lobby since we get a room above the lobby , very close to highway that you may hear the traffic all the time .

Horrible highway noise. Which is understandable based on its location. What is frustrating is there is a “back side” away from the highway and a whole other building on the backside. I went for a walk later in the evening and found this part of the hotel well over 50% vacant while the front “noisy” side was much more utilized. Why not fill up the quiet side and offer a discount on the noisy side? Just left a bad impression. Room was clean and everything worked.

Nice personell, helpful. I asked for a room further away from the highway, no problem. Breakfast is not offered in the motel but the restaurant next door has a very good omelette. As a Motel 6 guest you get 10% off.

It was very close to the ferry terminal(Schwartz Bay) for us to leave to go back to the mainland. We were very happy to have the restaurant White Spot to be right on site. This was extremely helpful. The hotel was comfortable and had all the necessities that one needs.

The Motel was 100% but White Spot Restaurant next door treated us poorly. Food was good but the Manager's attitude was terrible. He would not honor the 10% discount offered to motel patrons. I will stay at the motel again but will eat at the Waddling Dog Hotel across the hiway.
