The hotel’s location is central, 10-12 min walk to Gamla Stan and the Central Station. It’s a couple of minutes away to tram stop # 7 and shopping. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The French bistro in the hotel served delicious food. I would stay at this hotel again.

This was an excellent choice in every way. So comfortable and quiet for a great sleep. Outstanding staff. Breakfast complete with smoked salmon, meatballs etc etc etc. And wonderful pastries! The ambient setting is beautiful, as if one were dining outdoors. There are comfortable seating options outside the front door where one can relax and enjoy unlimited cappuccinos. The location is 1 minute subway stop from Stockholm Central Train but I preferred taking the T Central Tram/Bus minutes longer, which stops next door at King’s Garden Park, my favorite place to cool down with a cold beer while watching happy children play in the large shallow pool with water geysers a plenty. The old scenic town and the upscale shopping areas are just minutes away. A day trip using public ferries to Vaxholm can’t be beat. The deeply discounted senior 24 hr transportation pass (110 Kr) is a wonderful bargain. Truly a fantastic two days!

It’s been ages since I arrived early & bleary off a transatlantic flight, and a hotel ***actually put me in a room right then and there*** instead of putting me in baggage check purgatory. These folks very kindly took care of me right away, so I could shower and get settled in before heading off into the day. Wow! Such a difference this made for me! Also: the sauna is gorgeous and the gym very pleasant. Good breakfast. Quiet, beautiful, convenient location. Highly recommend.

Location Location Location -Boutique hotel in the centre of Stockholm hidden down a cobble stone street. Backing onto the King’s Garden where a stroll in the snow was such a pleasant activity for me daily. Watching the ice skaters from the gorgeous communal lounge-room was so pleasurable. Hotel Kungsträdgården would be one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in through my extensive life long travels all over the world. Right from my arrival I was met at the doors as I exited the taxi by the lovely concierge Kiki. Kiki greeted me with such warmth and professionalism I felt like old friends. Checked in Kiki explained the different levels of the hotel and how I may like to use them and also provided some interesting history in regard to the hotels heritage listing. My room was beautifully appointed with a huge heated bathroom and was more than an adequate size for a single person for 5 nights. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well executed , delicious. Overall I rate Hotel Kungsträdgården a 10. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who contributed to such a wonderful stay and introduction to your beautiful country Sweden and city of Stockholm.

Et veldig fint og hyggelig hotell. Enerommet jeg fikk var veldig lite men hadde alt jeg hadde behov for og str. på rommet er oppgitt ved bestilling. Nydelig oppusset i gammel/ moderne stil. God seng og rent. Hyggelig og veldig god service av betjening. Ligger veldig sentralt. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

I only spent a short night at Hotel Kungstadgarden. I wish I had stayed longer. It's a friendly, elegant hotel in a quiet, yet central location. I had an attic level room, which meant a sloping ceiling that limited walking space a bit -- but that was more than okay because the room had no much character, not to mention a great view. Would love to stay here again. The glass elevator soaring above the restaurant and lobby is another special touch.

Only thing we did not like was that we had a room on the 7th floor, and it must have been near the attic/roof so there were two sloped ceilings quite low in the room and my wife and I hit our heads on it a half dozen times. Loved the restaurant, and Reception folks were outstanding and helped us a lot.

Nydelig hotell med perfekt beliggenhet. Rommet var bittelite, men nydelig, rent og pent. Lekkert og lite bad med herlig dusj og deilige produkter. Lounge og sitteområde vi kunne benytte med nydelig romantisk interiør. Frokosten var god, inneholdt det man trengte, baksten var fantastisk. Vi kommer tilbake!

A shout out to Kiki on the front desk who was brilliant at giving us ideas for places to eat and to visit. Recommendations to future visitors - take advantage of the front desk / concierge to help with arranging tour and transport bookings. They are really helpful with good local knowledge. I hope to return to Stockholm and this hotel one day.

The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. When we first arrived the concierge made several dinner recommendations and then made all the reservations for us. The hotel had an old world feel despite being very up to date. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. We had to leave for the airport before breakfast and the front desk clerk gathered up some food and drinks for us. All in it was a wonderful stay.

I only spent a short night at Hotel Kungstadgarden. I wish I had stayed longer. It's a friendly, elegant hotel in a quiet, yet central location. I only spent a short night at Hotel Kungstadgarden. I wish I had stayed longer. It's a friendly, elegant hotel in a quiet, yet central location. I had an attic level room, which meant a sloping ceiling that limited walking space a bit -- but that was more than okay because the room had no much character, not to mention a great view. Very good hotel choice in old town near palace and other landmarks. About half a mile walk from train station, so if you come to town by train or would like to take a day tour to other towns, this is also a good spot to consider.

This was an excellent choice in every way. So comfortable and quiet for a great sleep. Outstanding staff. Breakfast complete with smoked salmon, meatballs etc etc etc. And wonderful pastries! The ambient setting is beautiful, as if one were dining outdoors. There are comfortable seating options outside the front door where one can relax and enjoy unlimited cappuccinos. The location is 1 minute subway stop from Stockholm Central Train but I preferred taking the T Central Tram/Bus minutes longer, which stops next door at King’s Garden Park, my favorite place to cool down with a cold beer while watching happy children play in the large shallow pool with water geysers a plenty. The old scenic town and the upscale shopping areas are just minutes away. A day trip using public ferries to Vaxholm can’t be beat. The deeply discounted senior 24 hr transportation pass (110 Kr) is a wonderful bargain. Truly a fantastic two days!

Location Location Location -Boutique hotel in the centre of Stockholm hidden down a cobble stone street. Backing onto the King’s Garden where a stroll in the snow was such a pleasant activity for me daily. Watching the ice skaters from the gorgeous communal lounge-room was so pleasurable. Hotel Kungsträdgården would be one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in through my extensive life long travels all over the world. Right from my arrival I was met at the doors as I exited the taxi by the lovely concierge Kiki. Kiki greeted me with such warmth and professionalism I felt like old friends. Checked in Kiki explained the different levels of the hotel and how I may like to use them and also provided some interesting history in regard to the hotels heritage listing. My room was beautifully appointed with a huge heated bathroom and was more than an adequate size for a single person for 5 nights. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well executed , delicious. Overall I rate Hotel Kungsträdgården a 10. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who contributed to such a wonderful stay and introduction to your beautiful country Sweden and city of Stockholm.
