The cookies here are the best — definitely a highlight! That said, a few minor things could be better. When there’s an event, there’s no designated parking for guests, so I had to park on the other side of the hotel, which was inconvenient. The dining staff were friendly and nice but could be more attentive—I was almost done eating before I got my water. Overall, a good stay with some room to improve.

The hotel itself is a little dated but has all the comforts and amenities you would need. The staff was really friendly, and the warm cookie at check in was a delicious bonus. The pool was under maintenance the whole time we were there and the main reason i booked this hotel was for the close proximity to my event and a pool for my sons. Had I known about the pool we would have stayed elsewhere. That was a minor inconvenience though. Everything else was quite good. Breakfast biffest was the best I've seen. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean!

Only complaint was that we were unaware that the hotel rents out the pool to swim instructors. Every time we went down, the pool was full of instructors and students, making enjoying the pool quite difficult. Would consider staying at other hotels that do not rent out their pools.

I travel a lot for business and for children’s sports. I am unlikely bringing my children here again. There was what looked exactly like mouse feces in the hideaway bed around what looked like dried up cheddar cheese bits. When we moved rooms, the sheets brought to that room were still dirty and has crusty stuff on them. I brought up my concerns and got the same lip service hotels typically provide. “It’s a third party, not much we can do.” Fair enough. Just stay away. We have pictures.

The property over all is a good value however the rooms do need a deep clean, I’m not sure how often or if this happens but it’s definitely needed. As a frequent customer I was disappointed in the hotel ramping up their rates for the busy weekend with the Morgan Wallen concert - short term benefit for overall integrity with frequent guests seems to be a questionable business decision in my opinion. Will reconsider staying based on this next time but it wasn’t limited to this hotel.

Pros: Convenient location, off a main city artery. Restaurant in hotel seemed decent with the meal we had. Bathroom in hotel room seemed nice, and the lotion and toiletries smell amazing. Cons: Floor 5 smelled awful, like wet & stale laundry left in a washing machine. Our room was stale smelling, had stains on both lamp shades and the headboards were ripped. We tried to mention our unfortunate room to front desk at checkout and the attendant seemed uncaring and did not address concerns.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 20 years. I kept coming back as the location and amenities were good. This stay was disappointing. Check in was poor, our room was not ready when we entered it, one bed not made, no towels, etc. required a return to the desk and room change. Others were being told that despite it being 4:30 their rooms weren’t ready. Appears cutbacks in housekeeping are taking a toll. Room had no bathrobes, only 2 towels for a double queen room. Carpets in the hallway were dirty, with visible lint, garbage, dirt. Housekeeping only replaced our towels and coffee, beds were not remade, sinks weren’t cleaned. Sound proofing was minimal. We could clearly hear the baby above crying, the tv in the next room, and got woken by the dog across the hall barking/scratching NON STOP for 20 minutes at 7:30am. Thankfully the owners did return when the hotel called them after we called the front desk. We were offered a free upgrade for our next stay but honestly that doesn’t make up for a poor showing this time. I expect more from the Hilton brand name.

We took in the Mayfield Dinner Theatre as part of a date night. Stayed in the spacious and comfortable King Suite. We added the breakfast option and enjoyed a nice full buffet the next morning.

Our room was very spacious and clean. A few things would have bumped this up to a 5 star. There was no direction by staff on where to go to locate our room, nor a map easily located. That was a little frustrating. For a large room with separate bedrooms, it was surprising that the smallest mini fridge ever was there, and no microwave. A larger mini fridge like most average hotel rooms have would have improved the experience.

One of the better hotels in a city that doesn’t have many exceptional hotels. We stayed in a Accessible King Sweet which was quite nice, however the room is starting to show its age slightly with a slightly worn out carpet, peeling wallpaper in places and a bit of water damage in the bathroom. Also the tv in the bedroom didn’t work. There was no stationary on the desk, no pen to write notes with, found this a bit odd. The safe in the room is nice to have. We booked a room with a bath tub, however we got a room with a roll in shower, which was actually ok because of the dual shower heads. There were no little soaps or little shampoos, but pump bottles in the shower. Overall a good place to spend 4 days. The bed was quite hard, and my back paid the price for that. Front desk staff was not bad, however the cleaning staff was amazing at making up our room every day.

The lady who checked us in, SAMANTHA, was very rude and condescending. Gave us a sour taste for the rest of our stay. The front desk staff should always give off a good impression as they are representing the brand they work for. Housekeepers had amazing customer service and kept our room so clean.

I thought the customer service was above super. Especially since i had a couple of accommodations requests, one request that i had to make last minute, and they were able to make it possible. Our room was beautiful, clean, and my husband won't stop talking talking about how comfortable the bed and pillows were.

Rooms were dated and not what we had come to expect from the Doubletree. This was not the worst part. We came back to our hotel at midnight after having left for the day at 9:30am (did not have the donning disturb sign on) and the room was not cleaned, beds not made and no clean towels for showers. This is after requesting housekeeping everyday. Quite disappointing. I went down to talk to the front desk after not getting a response from housekeeping. The guy Rakesh was rude and disrespectful- I asked to speak to a manager and he abruptly said that was not an option and he then move over to the next queue to help another guest as to ignore me - very unprofessional. I was forced to raise my voice and make a scene to get any real attention when it was the hotel’s error. Not happy and should have received better service

The Front Desk Agent who checked me in was friendly and efficient. She explained the facility layout and amenities all while quickly confirming my reservation and producing my key. Great sense of humour and she obviously enjoyed her job as she greeted the people behind me just as enthusiastically. Excellent first impression for the hotel!

I have stayed here twice in 2 weeks - I would have cancelled my second stay but it was paid and non refundable The service in this hotel is basically non existent - staff is robotic- without any focus on a guest experience - it must be a management led culture as I doubt I’d experience it row stays in a row I will NEVER stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone

Poor staff and the service. They made us travel between the hotels even when I specifically told them I have early morning meetings scheduled in the same hotel. The hotel they transferred us to was not appropriate. The rooms were terrible. For the inconvenience they promised different things on the phone and their statements got changed inperson. After a 6 hour drive and a tiring day we were able to finally get a room at 12:00 AM. I would not recommend anyone one from my friends or family and from 150 employees that work for my company to ever stay in this hotel. This stay was full of disappointment and frustration.

This hotel is not worth the cost. The front desk staff was not accommodating, they did not give us any information when checking in and clearly cater to hilton members only. We had no towels in our room. The "spa" located in the hotel is a complete joke. The restaurant was good food and service, however, the prices were outrageous. $14.00 for a single ceaser, over $30 for a steak sandwich.

Our stay was okay, the lady that did our check in was fantastic. We were only given 1 roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay. We had prepaid for the breakfast buffet and it was fairly disappointing. The eggs were watery, the bacon was really dry and looked old, and the potato’s were old and rubbery. Nothing looked fresh. We also got glasses of juice and my partner noticed lipstick on it. We sent it back, they didn’t apologize or anything. We then heard the lady speak to Management stating that was the second glass complain they had. I asked if they could clean our room/linens and they told us they would do a refresh but would not give us fresh sheets upon request. Maybe that’s an unspoken rule? The front desk person mentioned they only clean the sheets once every threes days. This is normally fine but I would have assumed upon request would have been different. Overall, the staff were fine, hotel was fine, breakfast is a no go. 3/5 stars

Room service was horrid - ordered from online - my do not disturb was on the door and instead of a courtesy knock - meal left outside the door - I called to find that out - then only to find zero cutlery accompanied it - then I had to wait for that - by that time the meal in a word … sucked At check out no “how was your stay”? Just do you want a printed copy of my receipt? I said yes only to be taken to another desk rep and asked again if I wanted a printed receipt ?
