Anjum Makkah Hotel

Masjid on the property inside the haram limit. Housekeeping service was good. Sahoor and iftihar buffet was good but missing orange juice and Chai.

My first visit to Makkah and stay at the Anjum Hotel was nothing short of perfect! The hotel’s proximity to Al Haram, the Clock Tower, and other nearby sites made the experience even more special. The welcoming atmosphere, starting from the security at the entrance to the receptionist, the dining area, shopping facilities, and the masjid within the hotel, was exceptional. Everything was top-notch! I’m planning to visit Makkah again, Inshallah, and will most likely stay at the Anjum with the rest of my family, depending on its availability!

The room was indeed spotless and everyone was so helpful, kind and thoughtful. We arrived at 8 am (many hours till our check in time), but the staff were kind enough to let us check in early. The room was spacious and they payed attention to detail, there was a scale (which can be used to weight your bags), there was a sewing kit too, prayer mat, a sign pointing where the qibla was. What I’m trying to say is that they payed attention to small details which I absolutely love. The distance from haram is literally 5 mins walk. Would definitely recommend it!

Having just returned from my trip to the Haramain, I feel delighted to share that my stay at Anjum hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff are really helpful, kind and cooperative. The location is very close to the Haram which adds to the experience. It took just a few minutes to reach Haram. The facilities and the view of Haram make the hotel and the stay there special. Talking of food, well the chefs and the staff are incredible with their food, variety and taste, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. I shall definitely be delighted to use their services again.

I stayed for the first time at Anjum, but it was one of the best experiences. They have it all inside the hotels, food, shopping, courtyard (the best), etc. Rooms were spacious. It was very busy in Ramadan but the location beats it all, very convenient walk to haram, taxi didn’t have issue dropping off. Just got partial Haram view due to availability, although upgraded to Haram view. Appreciate everyone there from all the employees and workers to help us make it smooth.

Spacious rooms. Close to the new extension and tiled courtyard area Breakfast and dinner were worth the price for convenience as there are not many shops close by for food. If you eat out you will end up buying from places which are about a 10minute walk away and it'll cost around the same as the hotel food. Friendly staff, check in was quick and staff were always willing to help. Good access to lifts. My only issue was that the adhaan was not audible from the room. Also, as this hotel is away from the clock tower, although it is still very busy, you are away from the rush at prayer times. It was nice that they had complimentary coffee and dates after each prayer.

Very good location. The hotel is only around a 5 minute walk from the haram (8-10 minutes to the masjid gate 114). Lots of toiletries provided in the room and daily replenishment of water bottles. The buffet breakfast was very good with many options and custom fried eggs/omelettes made by the chef. It was very pricey since we stayed in the December holidays busy period, but you get what you pay for. There is a nice cafe downstairs and also a very convenient bazaar where I did most of my gift shopping! Great prices at the Anjum Bazaar. Laundry prices are reasonable. Overall a great experience. Overall, excellent service. The hotel is well staffed, providing quick service. You have everything you need at the hotel - buffet, restaurant, coffee shop, dates, laundry, nice courtyard, optional rooms with good views of Haram and clock tower, Mediterranean (I think?) decor, plenty of elevators, quick access to Haram, quick access to taxis. I was very impressed.

An absolutely amazing stay! I cannot explain in words how outstanding this hotel is in terms of its facilities all the way through to the excellent location (in close proximity to Masjid Al Haram). The room was brilliant alongside the cleanliness and attention to detail. This is truly a 5 star hotel. The breakfast choice is amazing with the food being varied as well as delicious. Everything is cooked fresh and nothing is too much hassle for the staff. I would like to say a special thanks to the excellent customer service and hospitality displayed by Captin Osama, Yaqoob and Walid during breakfast times. I received a nice welcome message via WhatsApp before attending. The reception was quick and professional, and when I did not like the view of the first room, it was immediately changed to another room and welcoming gift was provided. The room was not clean, the closet and the black device for the card was dirty and had fingerprints. There were many small flies in the room coming from the bathroom. The window looked like it has not been cleaned for a long time, making the view useless. The bed is old and worn out and has gray spots. The carpet is old and full of stains, and the chair in front of the mirror does not contain a sponge and was wobbly because it was clearly very old, the electric kettle is old and was not clean. When I asked to replace it in the evening after Umrah, they told me that they can replace it only in the morning?! When calling the reception to bring down our luggage for check out immediately after Friday prayer, they told us ALL the staff were praying and no one was sent until 35 minutes has passed which lead to missing our train without having any refund for it, and we booked another one. After collecting our bags there was gum on one of them. The duty manager was very understanding and helpful and arranged a cab for us for free to the train station.

One of the worst hotels, if not the worst, that I have ever been to. Unhygienic and disgusting. Filthy throughout.

Really nice hotel, very nice staff and great atmosphere around the hotel lobby area with entertainment and providing water. Couple little annoying parts where the key cards always needed scanning to enter rooms multiple times throughout the day. Cleaners had to be told to clean rooms multiple time before getting cleaned. The extra bed kept rocking back and forth which was annoying overall good hotel and great staff.

Staff were great! Room was big and we wee given a beautiful haram view room! They accommodated to our needs we requested a room on the lower floors. The breakfast was 10/10! Delicious and so many options! Housekeeping staff were also good! We will definitely coming back to this hotel!

Very nice hotel, staff was very friendly. Clean rooms, room is nice and clean, all basic amenities are there. Convenient location. Staff is very friendly and extremely co-operative. Room size is small and have not enough space for doing prayers. Policy regarding children was unclear on website. They charged extra for providing breakfast and to provide extra beds in room, which was surprise as we thought we already paid for all of it. Overall it is nice experience and we MUST recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is noisy due to the sound from the mosque development and the management says they cannot do anything about it, I wish they mention this when people are booking. They should also mention that we have coffee machines In the room , but we only give two capsules per day. Their communication skills are terrible and although they pretend they understood you, they still don’t. Breakfast menu is very limited and fruit section is two types of apples and then mixed tin fruit. I am not sure why I stayed in Anjum , I will hopefully avoid it as it doesn’t meet the five star standard.

Stuff and location is the best part. We checked in fast and they gave us one of their best rooms with an amazing location. Dinner was nice but the rooms are very outdated. The access to the masjid is soooo convenient better then crossing the road from the Conrad on Jabal Omar. So If you are looking for room quality you will be disappointed but service still great.

The hotel's decor and facilities felt outdated, giving the impression that a renovation might be due to bring it up to modern standards. While this didn't significantly impact the comfort of my stay, a refresh could certainly enhance the overall guest experience.One notable challenge was transportation, particularly during Ramadan. Getting a taxi in and out of the area proved to be quite difficult, which might be something future guests would want to prepare for. The holy month brings about unique challenges and an increase in visitors, so planning ahead for transportation is advisable.Lastly, the hotel's customer service, especially through their WhatsApp channel, was less efficient than expected. I encountered a significant issue when road blocks prevented access to the hotel, and despite reaching out for assistance, I didn't receive a timely response. Staff were great! Room was big and we wee given a beautiful haram view room! They accommodated to our needs we requested a room on the lower floors. The breakfast was 10/10! Delicious and so many options! Housekeeping staff were also good! We will definitely coming back to this hotel!

The staff took forever to deliver items we requested and i thought that was very bad.

Worst trip ever they cancelled our whole stay for simply adding adding another day to our stay. Do not book with them complete fraudsters. We ended up having to stay at another hotel entirely because of their mistake and we did not even get a refund. I repeat do not book with them unless you want to get scammed

Rly close to masjid Haram

Great hotel and very close to Masjid Al Haram. Only 5-7 min walk depending on the crowd. Three or four hotel next to clock tower. Room service was great and able to get my stuff quickly. Reception was great as well. I went there around 2 am in the morning and was able to get my room as expected. Over all excellent experience.

Very close to haram around 15 min walk to 79 gate. Very convenient for umrah . ( maybe elderly people will need help) . Location for non elderly is very great. hotel lobby and services are v good. The only thing I need to comment on is that the breakfast need to have more salads options in their table. because the serve a lot of carbs and no much salads around. My advise bring your own salads. As Ibin Dawood supermarket sell salad blate for 1.5 riyal. Just wash it and bring it to enjoy great healthy breakfast.

Top Hotel Sehr Nah an Haram

Stuff and location is the best part. We checked in fast and they gave us one of their best rooms with an amazing location. Dinner was nice but the rooms are very outdated. The access to the masjid is soooo convenient better then crossing the road from the Conrad on Jabal Omar. So If you are looking for room quality you will be disappointed but service still great.

Very clean, amazing service and staff. The only thing is that the breakfast is not the best. There is a wide variety but especially in the bakery section, all pastries taste the same of syrup and are dry, they are just in a different shape.

Ideal location of the hotel to the Grand Mosque new extension which was perfect and less congested to get to the mosque and back. Great breakfast options and variety plus a nice cafe for snacks. I would definitely stay again.
