We stayed here for a night in mid April 2024. They will take copies of your credit card and drivers license on check in. Copying a drivers license is not that uncommon, although disappointing. Copying all the details on a credit card is uncommon, and very poor practice. Processes here pose a material risk of fraud/identity theft. It was generally neat, clean and quiet. The associated hotel conveniently has a bistro and pizza restaurant, and it is an easy few minutes walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants. There is reverse cycle split system heating and cooling. It struggled to get a lot of warmth into the room - the brick walls that help with noise also tend to retain the cold. Power points next to the bed are located low and behind the bedside table. You can plug your phone in there, although it will require a bit of work. The bathroom and shower will be good for someone who is tall, and hot water delivery was strong and consistent. The bathroom does get very steamy and wet in the absence of an exhaust fan. Both Netflix and Prime were logged in and ready to use - not sure whether this was intended, or a previous guest did not log out. Wifi is included. Download and upload speeds were 27.5 Mbps and 8.1 Mbps respectively. There is open air onsite parking. It is a little tight but reasonably usable.

Our sheets were not changed at all, we stayed for 5 nights. The dishes were not cleaned on our second last day, I don’t think the vacuum was run through the place while we were staying there. The toilet was not cleaned. There were no forks in the pantry, only spoons and knives.

Initially I wasn't sure about staying at the Imperial Hotel (as it's an actual hotel/restaurant/pub), but the accomodation out the back is quiet and convenient. It isn't particularly modern, butwas neat and tidy, and had all we needed. Will likely stay there again.

Large spacious clean room with comfortable pillows and bed. Smart tv was great ! Aircon struggled to keep the room warm but it was a very cold day and night when we stayed. Lucky there were extra blankets that kept us warm.

The motel was close to everything and overall it was good. The room was a good size, bed comfortable and the food at the pub was great. The airconditioner was set at its highest temperatur e and despite that, the room did not get over18 degrees. This was because there was a constant cold air flow under the door whch flowed through the room, under the bathroom door and through the vent )fan switched off). I suggest that the aircon be serviced and draft stoppers be put on both doors. This will also stop the cigarette smoke from coming in when people smoke outside the room.
