Everything was excellent! Super fresh and new hotel with great service. Lovely rooftop bar and pool with amazing views over Ibiza town. Perfect location in the middle of the center. Highly recommend staying here.

Great hotel. Clean, safe and welcoming. Good restaurant and a 24/7 gym. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'll definitely come back. The only area of improvement can be the firmness of the bed mattress and pillows. They were a little soft.

Tolles Hotel in toller Lage , Allerdings ist es ein absolutes Nogo ...das Hotelsonnendeck nicht zu öffnen und dies auch nicht öffentlich zu machen. Dass der Pool im März geschlossen ist...ist ok...aber dass ein 5 Sterne Hotel es nicht auf die Reihe bringt seine Gäste zum sonnen und erholen aufs Dach zu lassen ist ein Armutszeugnis. Kommuniziert wurde dies auch nicht.

Let’s start with the good stuff: - Interior design is great - Great air con - silent and adjustable in each room. - Breakfast is top-class. Although the restaurant is in desperate need of a maitre d’ as there is an air of chaos. - Gym is a good small hotel gym,but badly configured. It would be dreadful for yoga which feels odd for Ibiza. - Complementary Hierbas Ibicencas for guests returning home in the evening was lovely special touch. Now the downsides: - Rooftop closed for my entire stay. I appreciate the pool is seasonal (which I find quite odd in itself - plenty of places have heated pools in winter) and I understand why they don’t operate a rooftop restaurant in winter. However, I would expect to be able to access the roof terrace to sit and enjoy the winter sun (which in Ibiza is fabulous for sitting outside in a light sweater and reading a book). There is literally no communal lounge space to sit and read or work, which I find utterly bizarre for an upscale hotel. - There are also few amenities of any kind. No sauna, steamroom, communal workspace, communal lounge… all a bit unusual for a 5-start hotel - The arrival experience was awful. Valet parking was non-existent as a van was parked in the valet drop-off for the duration of my stay. I called to ask where to drop the car and was told to go to a public car park 10 minutes away. - Staff are indifferent throughout the hotel. They’re not rude, but they clearly don’t enjoy their job. Temper your expectations.

I know I went during off season but the entire rooftop, pool area was completely closed off. It would have been nice to atleast see it. Also the room was very nice and the staff was pretty nice but the room had no full body mirrors unfortunately just the small circle mirror in the bathroom. Very clean. Big room. The bathroom was really clean. Just not that many amenities for a 5 star hotel. Good location, near many stores and the port.

First the good part… the hotel itself, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and location were excellent. Now, the however, I booked the hotel because it claimed to have both a pool and spa facilities. On arrival I found that the pool was not available until May, and the spa facilities were both offsite at a 3rd party location and quite frankly extortionately priced. If yo require neither a pool or spa facilities, I would quite happily recommend The Standard as the perfect location in Ibiza town.

The Standard was perfectly located for a few days exploring Ibiza. The hotel itself had everything we needed (room service, great rooftop, central location) and the staff was incredible. After one night out, the staff (led by Sonia) left a care package for us upon our return. They were fantastic with recommendations, calling taxis, and making us feel at home. We can't wait to return!

I'll start with the good. The room and hotel in general were spotless well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out 100% of the light ensuring we had a perfect sleep. The restaurant and bar attached were out of this world, make sure you call in advance to guarantee a table. Our trip was in January and it's still hard to get a booking. The bad: I can't remember the name of the concierge and he really deserves a special mention as he was the kindest and most helpful person I've ever met in my life. The amazing: The concierge. I'm kicking myself for forgetting his name but from the moment we walked through the door he made sure everything was perfect for us.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend The Standard. Upon checking in, there was a glass in the bathroom that had about an inch of water in it so clearly not clean. I went up to the rooftop and asked the lady at the bar to fill my water bottle up with ice, as I had just put room temperature water in it from my room, she did so and said nothing to me. I then asked her for a lunch menu which she gave me while also saying nothing to me. I ordered lunch which was brought to me on the sun bed by the pool. 2 hours latter after reading, and listening to a podcast - no one came to collect. It had started to smell from the sour cream being in the sun. Not once did any staff come to the guests on the sun beds and ask did we want anything. After returning from a day out, I noticed a shaving razor in my bathroom, that was not mine - I do not use them! I had not noticed it there before so it concerned me someone had been in my room. I called the front desk and they took it away. Management were adamant to me that it was not from housekeeping and no one had entered my room - but things cannot just appear!

When we arrived, we were surprised that there were two parts to the hotel that had us go across them down the street to get in. It was a very spacious room however we were greeted by a cockroach! The staff came immediately at removed it . We loved Jara restaurant downstairs in main hotel and the rooftop restaurant as well. The whole entire staff at The Standard were so nice and friendly. All this made us love the hotel ! I highly recommend staying there! Perfect location!!

Rooms didnt look like they were cleaned very well. Our shower room had a soggy tissue and razor cap that wasnt removed for the duration of our stay and a sewer smell seemed to resignate from the showers

It’s outrageous for The Standard to consider itself a 5* hotel. For context, I believe I’ve been fortunate to have stayed in 30+ 5• hotels in the last 3 years and this is by far the worst. Decor is bland for a 5*, verging on sterile. It’s clear that what The Standard lacks in quality, amenities, service and all of the usual 5* differentiators it desperately tries to make up for in ‘cool’ but fails miserably. I have stayed at The Standard in NYC on several occasions and booked The Standard Ibiza expecting a similar (5*) experience. Appearance is minimalist using good quality materials for furniture etc. but just doesn’t hit the mark. Soundproofing is non-existent and this is Ibiza! Take earplugs. One small bottle of water in the room that was never replenished (we had to request).

Really lovely rooms and great location with friendly staff. We had really enjoyed our stay seven nights here, especially the cool rooftop pool bar. Such fun. The room we had on the fourth floor was a bit on the small side, as space for luggage was limited, so pack light. Unless you opt for junior suite. Look forward to trying the Standard’s other hotels.
Really lovely rooms and great location with friendly staff. We had really enjoyed our stay seven nights here, especially the cool rooftop pool bar. Such fun. Great modern hotel on a cute square in Ibiza town with lots of great shops and restaurants. My suite although beautiful and spacious was in a separate building from the main hotel with most of the amenities like gym and restaurant Wish they would have specified that in the description when booking.

I know I went during off season but the entire rooftop, pool area was completely closed off. It would have been nice to atleast see it. Also the room was very nice and the staff was pretty nice but the room had no full body mirrors unfortunately just the small circle mirror in the bathroom. Very clean. Big room. The bathroom was really clean. Just not that many amenities for a 5 star hotel. Good location, near many stores and the port.

We love the standard hotels but second time we have stayed here at Ibiza branch and the restaurant staff downstairs let it down. Very unattentive - twice we attempted to eat there but sat waiting whilst the hosts chatted or tidied tables rather than serve us a drink or menus. As residents this wasn’t acceptable and we ate elsewhere. The reception staff were fantastic and a lovely hotel but please address service in Jara.

This is my second stay in the past year at The Standard Ibiza and although the hotel itself remained in lovely condition, the amenities high class, the service in the restaurants / bars was terrible. We stayed for two nights and both times breakfast was a disaster. The first morning my order got forgotten about and after asking several times where it was, as my friends had finished theirs, eventually someone reluctantly took my order again. Several coffees didn’t arrive and when enquiring about them it seemed like it was a hassle. The next morning it took 50 mins for our breakfast to arrive - the restaurant was pretty empty. Many of the coffees never arrived, tea pots with only hot water, mistakes with milk (we had people with allergies so this was important). We had to ask several times what was happening and each time the staff responded as if it was our fault and were very unaccommodating and unapologetic. When the food arrived the starters and mains arrived all together and the food, including the eggs were ice cold (clearly not warmed up at all). When we queried this a shrug of the shoulders was all we got. This is a real shame for this hotel - as a 5star establishment this shouldn’t happen, especially in low season, and has really put me off ever booking here again. The reception staff were lovely, rooms great and roof lovely. However service on the roof was also poor - expect long waits for a drink/coffee. We raised this during our stay but it was rebuffed

The service provided from the team at the Standard hotel is outstanding, comparing to many other hotels I’ve stayed in this has by far been the best service I have received . All staff were extremely friendly, attentive and so helpful from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself, food and drinks were also amazing however it was the service and staff that made our stay extra special. We will be back in September!

The Standard was perfectly located for a few days exploring Ibiza. The hotel itself had everything we needed (room service, great rooftop, central location) and the staff was incredible. After one night out, the staff (led by Sonia) left a care package for us upon our return. They were fantastic with recommendations, calling taxis, and making us feel at home. We can't wait to return!

The manager and front desk customer service was horrible. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. We paid for a few nights stay, and arrived the second day after contacting the hotel beforehand regarding our flight delay which was confirmed by the front desk staff that since our room was already paid for it would be held no problem for our check in. Upon arrival they had already sold our paid room to other guests then put us in another room that had plumbing issues with yellow contaminated water coming from the bathtub and shower. The maintenance team and front desk staff confirmed the water was contaminated in our room as well as others so they were unable to change our room. We were unable to shower the entire stay! I have pictures and videos of the yellow/brownish water. Instead of being accommodating the manager was extremely rude to us and non helpful. She basically told us that there was nothing to be done about the situation. I have stayed with SLS many times and have never received such horrible customer service. It was our anniversary so we were very disappointed with customer service. We are handling this now with corporate.

Great location, close to bars and beautiful part of the Old Town. Pros : concierge/reception staff were kind and very helpful with any question. Room was so modern and fresh, lots of wardrobe/drawer storage too. Beautiful rooftop. Shower available in gym for after check out freshen-up (only one though…) Cons: staff on rooftop and at breakfast were kind but hard to get hold of - I sat by the pool for ages with no one offering a drink etc, even when it was quiet. Pool beds are also small (for 2 people) and only 6 of them I think? This area also backs onto the bar/restaurant which I think is too close proximity - people sat eating lunch whilst I’m in a bikini. Need a full length mirror in the room too please! I expected a better service, as this is an ‘iconic’ and pricey hotel. Would stay again as the location and room were great though.

Proper hotel with a nice vibe and tremendous service. I was here in winter, so there might be differences compared to busy season. The location is terrific if you’d like to be in old town. Sits just below the old fortress and one minute to the harbor.

We loved our stay at The Standard! Sonia from the guest service is such an angel! She helped us with everything and made everything possible for us! The guys from the service, either at the breakfast restaurant or at the rooftop bar are lovely and always there to help! Food is absolutely stunning!!! The fusion kitchen at the rooftop restaurant is out so amazing. We had the edamame a couple of times :) We are definitely coming back!

They have outdoor dining on the plaza and an amazing rooftop lounge with cocktails and tapas (the food is great and so is the Sangria!). Do not go to the restaurant in a hurry, you owe it to yourself to relax and enjoy the atmosphere they provide. We were sad to go and will definitely stay here again on our next visit! PS the location is only about a 25 min taxi ride from the airport and close to the marina and shops…. You could stay here for a month and still have options for dining. Enjoy!

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Great location as it is centrally located. Bed was very comfortable. Room very clean. We had breakfast twice at hotel and the food was good. There is a mini bar in room for cocktails and snacks to purchase. The shower was clean. The rain Shower head was huge and flow was great. Plenty of hot water. The pool is on the roof and was very clean and refreshing. Great view. Walking distance to museums and Roman archaeological site. I Would definitely stay here again.
