I stayed five nights at the Waldorf in a premier room overlooking the street. The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was enormous and very modern. The hotel service was top-notch, especially Caffrey the Concierge. He was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about Beijing, especially since it was my first time there. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Beijing, just a 10-minute walk from the Forbidden City. There are also many high-end shops and department stores right outside the hotel. My only suggestion is that the breakfast lobby can get quite busy in the mornings due to the limited space and food choices. Otherwise, there’s nothing negative to say about the hotel.

The suite room has dust everywhere in the room. I wonder in how many weeks, there had no one checked in this room. Toilet flushing water was all yellowish dirty water, can’t believe it’s in 5 stars hotel. Hotel room Personal assistant responded slowly and insufficient. The curtains can’t even block out the daylight in the morning. The mattress hurted my back after waking up. It’s really ridiculous! In the morning, there always just 1 staff in front desk. Not enough staff to handle and serve the guests.

I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the amenities were great. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
