Fantastic front desk people, very helpful and polite even during rush times. Nice fitness room, laundry options. Great breakfast buffet. Roomy showers. And a carnival was next door during our stay!

My daughter and I stayed here for her college orientation. The beds are REALLY uncomfortable. They seem pretty worn and broken in and we both slept poorly. They only clean your room if you ask the front desk by 1pm. Kinda sad. On the second night we woke up to street racing in the parking lot around midnight. Also, we had so hoped to use the pool since it was in the 100s but the pool is indoors, humid as heck and just too stuffy to swim.

Very nice staff. Clean rooms. Bed could be more plush as it feels & sounds like an old mattress. & only 1 working elevator but that’s not the hotels fault but that of the baseball team guests that broke it.

When we got there to check in, there was 2:58 and we were refused to even try to check in first of all. Second of all the room wasn't ready for over an hour. Third the water in the shower was barely warm. it never got over probably 80°. Last when I grabbed a towel to get out of the shower, it had a butt stain on it And it was supposedly a clean towel!! Besides allowing dogs, I would never go back very, very, very disappointed this is the second day and I don't ever want to come back.

My bathroom had missing hooks on the wall to hang clothing. You could see where they used to be by the missing paint on the walls. My bathtub was not clean and had mold in corners. The carpet was stained in two different places. I did not take off my shoes . The carpet looked that dirty. I was extremely surprised by the condition of the room. I expected better.

The property was in a great location and also a safe location. Downtown was only a quick few minutes drive and I liked that it was out of the hustle and noises of downtown. Safe, well-lit parking lot with plenty of parking. Property itself is very updated, modern, clean and the rooms are exceptionally large. The room had electronic black out shades (which was very nice), a bar/fridge area with bar sink, sofa and a large desk. Bathroom was modern and large as well and had sliding doors that also had a blackout application so when someone uses the bathroom at night it blocks out the light into the room to those that are sleeping. TV was large and on a mount where you could swivel in all different directions of the room so you could watch if you were in bed or sitting on the sofa. Enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

All basic necessities, but you need to ask front desk for items you don’t see. I can still hear neighbors’ conversations during quiet hours, it can be heard through the ducting. Hilton Honors parking right up front ahead of disability parking. I seen a number of disabled parking cards being used in the regular parking area due to shortage. There was facility contractors doing work in the main foyer, they parked their truck in main drop off area. I understand they are actively working but like any work site, unload your needed gear and park. As a customer, we are already inconvenienced due to active work, sound, etc. Adding more inconveniences that could have been avoided is sub par.

Clean public areas and room, plenty restaurants close by, shopping mall across the parking lot. The TV in the room is awkwardly placed on wall between the bed and sofa making it hard to view from both positions. If you park under the solar panels, you might find bird droppings on your car.

Honestly I like to fall asleep watching a movie and there wasn't anything to watch I could barely use the remote you would think for that price you would be able to at the very least watch Netflix or some form of free tv

The accommodations were very nice. It was an accessible room. I know it's a challenge to make one room fit all disabilities, but this was one of the better ones. Bed at a good height for wheelchair transfer. The bed was not on a box, good for sliding a lift under the bed. No pillowtop, this is good, they are difficult for a person with mobility issues to navigate. The seat for the tub was appreciated but the adjustment screws did not secure the seat. A wheelchair user could get under sink, Thumbs up. I don't think anyone, able bodied or not would like the faucet that barely got over the edge of the sink. All in all, very nice and usable. Hope these tips helps you improve.

We had a nice visit at the Hampton suites. Very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the bed was a little too firm for our taste. Otherwise , breakfast and coffee were great. We’ll definitely go back!

Upon arriving at check in the lady working the front desk was across the room in the employee area. She made eye contact, but didn't say anything to me like "be right with you" or anything. After finishing up doing whatever it was she was doing she then came over with no urgency and was on her personal phone watching a video . She was very unfriendly and had poor customer service skills.

I met up with my sister, who was also staying at the property. Our father passed away . I live in Oregon, my sister lives in Missouri, but we were born and raised in Chico. We were in Chico to help setttle Dad's affairs. Pete helped with Check -In. Pete expressed his condolences and found a way to get our rooms on the same floor and pretty close to each other. So, a Big Thanks to Pete !!

Staff were kind and welcoming, room was clean, spacious, and cool, location is perfectly close enough to city center and all major roads, while still far enough to be quiet and enjoy zero traffic. Also directly next to the empty back end of a shopping district with lots of dining options and convenient stores. Several guests arriving on the same night as us all had malfunctioning key cards but the friend staffer fixed them all as needed, with grace and understanding.

So very happy with our choice to stay at the Hampton Inn. We were greeted by Luke with fresh baked cookies and a warm welcome. Our room was very nice, but our neighbors were quite noisy so when we mentioned this to the front desk we we were surprised with an upgrade. Both rooms were very nice. The upgraded room was very quiet. The place was very clean and all of the staff were friendly, warm, and helpful. I must say we really appreciated Luke at the front desk. He greeted us each time we passed through the lobby. We chatted with him and felt very comfortable, like a family friend. When the other front desk staff were working they were also very pleasant and warm, but Luke just really stood out to us. No doubt when we come back to Chico we won’t hesitate to book here again and again.

The hotel is great but we had an issue with our room and had to change after the first night. Tried to talk with the manager for two days but she was never there and was promised she would call when we checked out. Never happened.

Well-designed, spacious room, nice lobby area. Lots of free parking. Adjacent to a big shopping mall. Short Uber ride to Sierra Nevada Taproom - not really convenient to walk there due to distance, multiple traffic crossings and construction. Very pleasant place to stay. Would have gladly stayed there longer.

We were very happy with our stay at The Hampton Inn. We were visiting family and it was within 15 min of everywhere we needed to go, very close to shopping and restaurants. Our room was extremely large, lots of space, very clean, easy parking , and staff were friendly. Cost was very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again.

The waffle system was off key - either the batter was too thick or the cup too small. I used a full cup of batter and got only 3/4 of a waffle. There were no posted directions. the oatmeal was overcooked and dehydrated. the omelets seemed to be made of powdered eggs and american cheese, and were kept alive for far too long in a steam table; resulting in them being rubbery, overcooked and relatively tasteless. The coffee was good, but there was none on our second day - apparently demand outran supply.

I didn’t give them a five star because. When it came to breakfast even though I know we came down 15-30 mins to it ending. However there was no food left. When asked lady was very rude saying what is there is all they have. There was over 10 people wanting food. Don’t include breakfast if you can’t provide for everyone.

Lots of breakfast options. Cheese omelets, sausages, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, Various cold cereals, fresh fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, fruit juices, bagels/sweet rolls and of course, good coffee! Friendly employees at the check in desk. Room was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Am very pleased and highly recommend this hotel.

They’re was no more food for the Sunday Breakfast ashen I arrived at 9:30am. Other than that I loved the spacious rooms and big TV. I will be back.
