Excellent location near the beach. Loved all the thoughtful amenities, hot breakfast at our doorstep, holiday decor, very clean, heated private plunge pool. Great parking for our room and for visiting the historic area, all included. Highly recommended!

The cutest beach house. Everyone is super nice. Loved that we got a parking pass for the downtown location so we didn’t have to pay for parking. The house was spacious and clean and comfortable.

The place was a great location and was a good stay. Only downside was we had a cold front that came through and apparently, I got a voicemail after staying that the heat pump was out which is why the pool was so cold so we couldn't use it, which is the main reason we stayed, and the beach was too cold as a second option. The food basket in the morning was good and it was nice having a kitchen and all. I would come back again, just want to make sure if it's cold that the heat pump is working because that was a big letdown.

Excellent property and very attentive staff. Charlotte made everything easy for us, and Max was on the spot with our morning breakfast service. If you have a big truck, you may want to leave it at home and bring the small car. Parking and driving through the narrow streets were tough...

Beautiful location, convenient to historic town and sights. Friendly staff. Texting format was a plus for checking in, but miss the sit down breakfast and cocktail hour mingle like our previous stay years before. We mostly enjoyed the upper deck patio outside our room for viewing the water. Off site parking was safe and secure but a little far. Room was well appointed.

The room was clean and very nice. However, the shower has very little pressure. That needs improvement. Very hard to rinse any kind of soap or shampoo in the hair. I realize the house is pretty old, it’s well maintained but someone was staying on top of our room and we could hear them talk and walk. They were very loud and that was a little uncomfortable at 1 am I loved the walkway to the beach. Beach was great and the chair and umbrellas was a nice surprise. Since we didn’t bring our own.

Great location and place to stay in the Old St Augustine Area. Driving and Parking in this area is a challenge. The property has reserved spots in a remote lot about a block away. We left our car there and walked to most places we wanted to visit. Loved the room service delivered breakfast and happy hour goodies!

Loved the place. The staff was great. I do have 2 complaints. 1. Booking thru Expedia shows this property having a pool with picture and it does not have a pool. 2. Was suppose to be a quiet place however parties full sending outside our window on our balcony from 3-5 am and no staff on site to be able to do anything about it. The entire floor was not happy.

This hotel was so amazing! It was super clean, updated and pet friendly. It looks like an old Victorian home with all the modern conveniences. It came with a breakfast in the morning delivered to your room and also had a happy hour every night. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel!! We are definitely going back and staying here again!!

We stayed at Lagoon Cottage. It was in disrepair. Lots of water damage on the ceilings. The upstairs bedroom has a water leak in the wall. A puddle of water on the bedroom floor that has been there for sometime with warped floorboards. The stairs are steep and narrow. Not for anyone with mobility issues. Just not what we expected. Left early and no response from property when we told them the bedroom floor was flooded. Horrible experience.

The property is located in the Heart of Downtown Saint Augustine which is nice and easy to walk just about anywhere. The staff was very nice. Dislikes: The room we got/ stayed in was not actually on the Bay Marin property. It was a couple blocks away in not the greatest area and absolutely no view as advertised. We had to walk to the main property if we wanted anything or wanted to do anything on the main property and that was not expected. We also had to deal with Ants in our room. Especially the kitchen area, which honestly was gross and unfortunately we put a to-go box from a restaurant we went to on the kitchen counter and ants got into the box causing us to throw away a fairly expensive portion of food we brought back. The room had a musky/ moldy smell and that's probably because there was a water leak in the bathroom wall causing water to pool in a corner and caused some mold. The room looked like the advertised picture, but the physical location was not on Bayfront Marin property where all the other rooms with views, a courtyard, etc. were located. Pretty disappointing for the amount of money I spent.

The entire experience was terrible. We booked this location because it was near downtown. The actual rental was a 15 min drive from downtown. The AC didnt cool the room. The food was awful. Very very disappointed with the whole experience especially given the price.

We got in at night and difficult to find the location. we were unclear that it was in a completely different location. In the morning we saw the beach and were taken away with its beauty. The beach itself is beautiful. The room was nice however since it was in the basement it was humid.

The beautiful ocean front cottage and the place was very spacious and clean. You can wake up early and watch a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast and happy hour were very nice, too. Friendly staff. Wish the shower had more pressure and the closet had hangers but we really enjoyed our stay overall and would like to come back again someday.

Such a fun time in St. Augustine! Our stay was very enjoyable! We loved our room! The view was amazing and loved having breakfast and appetizers brought to our room. The mattress seemed a little old but that’s the only thing we would change.

This was our first time visiting St. Augustine. We found the Bayfront Marin House to be charming & convenient. It is walking distance to the downtown historic district where there are many options to dine & shop. The staff was hospitable, prompt with responses, and they served a delightful breakfast as well as appetizers & a choice of drink the evening before. They brought me a lovely tray of hot tea when we arrived back from our late walk. Small touches make the difference. The room was very clean; the sheets very soft. The only drawbacks were the parking - a good few blocks of walking to the lot, and the noise. The walls of this over 240 year old building are paper thin. The staff, in their efficiency, made a lot of noise early in the morning providing breakfasts & doing cleanup. If you want to sleep in a bit, the noise level was too high. Still, for a weekend or mid-week getaway, we recommend Bayfront Marin House.

The inn is located in a terrific spot, a very short walk into the historic city center. Very close to restaurants and attractions. Very pretty location right on the water with beautiful sunrises. This is an old historic home so don’t expect shiny and new. Room was fine,nothing remarkable,but fine for a few days. Only real criticism was the bed. The mattress was shot and should have been replaced quite some time ago. They have a great communication system via text which they use to keep guests informed about breakfasts and afternoon snacks.

Great Bed & Breakfast in downtown Historic area. The Lindsie Michelle room was beautiful. Second floor with great outdoor area to sit. Happy hour treats and wine are delivered to your room. Breakfast is also delivered. If it's nice, you can sit on the outside area reserved for this room.

The staff and service at this B&B is welcoming, polite, responsive, and thorough. My fiance' and I are always impressed with the thoughtfulness put into the breakfast and happy hour creations. Stayed here for two days. Breakfast was served cold we had to microwave it? Our be hike was badly scratched by adjacent guest. Reported to staff was told they couldn’t help, had no information on the other guests and we needed to call the police. Brand new vehicle damaged on their property and they could care less.

cool old place nice room great location check in was poorly done unfortunately she asked if we'd been to the room??? odd - we just arrived and didn't have an actual check in she sent us to our room with a verbal to use the last 4 digits of my cell phone, bit further info there was no explanation of happy hour or breakfast having hh and breakfast was a nice touch once we figured it out on our own

The advertisement in Expedia was very mis-leading. We thought we were going to be staying in town at the ACTUAL Marin House. Instead, our accommodations were 2.5 miles away from town on a separate island. We had to then drive into town, park on the outskirts (which they paid for) and then drive back to our unit. do BETTER !

We stayed at the Cottages on Vilano Beach. The property was quaint and charming. It was located directly on the beach, great access. They delivered breakfast each morning and provided happy hour each afternoon at the downtown location. Easy check in, excellent service and great location. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything about it was easy and convenient. The only down side was the offsite parking if you don’t want to pay to park, but not a big deal at all. Especially enjoyed the daily texts about happy hour and breakfast. Loved that breakfast was brought right to the room and was delicious! We will be back!

Wonderful stay to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary and first visit to St. Augustine! We loved the breakfast, Happy Hour, and texts to keep us informed and to contact the B&B if needed. The location was perfect for visiting historical things. We hope to return next year; there's more we'd like to see and do.
