Rooms had an old time classic look and feel. My wife and I loved how everything was in walking distance. Front desk was very helpful with tips for us 1st timers to Newport.

This is a nice boutique hotel with good breakfast. We stayed in a separate building at the back on the ground floor next to the parking. It was quiet and offered good size charming old rooms.

My room was very clean… The air conditioner kept it very cold even though I was on the third floor and it was hot and humid… Water pressure was excellent… There was a good variety of breakfast foods, and it was delicious… location is perfect. The only issue was not getting any information at check-in, only the room key and what floor it was on…. The outside door was locked when I returned at night, and I had to call a phone number to get the code… I also had to ask where to go for breakfast the next morning , since all three of the Bellevue facilities have breakfast at the main building.

I should have been told prior to going that I would have to climb 3 full flights of stairs up into a hot attic, I was unable to climb them, it was so hot, I had difficulty breathing and climbing, the guy that helped me check in was nice, I was then put into a basement, the sprinkler room. I heard the stuff running all night. When early morning came, I was woken up by staff getting breakfast, right outside my door, and there were other patrons right there at my door, eating breakfast. The room and bathroom had black hairs throughout. It was very upsetting to have this happen, I was looking forward to a good little vacation.

This unique property consists of four separate buildings. Each building has rooms that are completely unique. The rooms are updated and comfortable – could use some pillow upgrades. Breakfast is served in one of the houses where you have to go down several stairs to get your food, could be an issue for a disabled people? If it is sunny out, you have a great place to eat outside, but if it’s raining, you’re kind of in the basement for breakfast, which isn’t so terrific. The breakfast is good lots of options. It’s very confusing, checking in even though they do their best to tell you where to go. Ample parking. within walking distance of all popular attractions. Would definitely stay again!!
