Ein sehr gutes Hotel. Diverse Restaurants in unmittelbarer nähe. Die Haltestelle der Linie 28 direkt vor der Tür. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Leider sin die oberen Etagen ohne Aufzug. Ein Sonderlob für das Personal, immer ansprechbereit und hilfsbereit

This is a very warm and welcoming hotel. The staff is so warm and friendly. The hotel is in a fun area with lots of interesting restaurants and cute shops. My only complaint is that at the current time there is no elevator and I had to carry my big suitcase down several long, steep stairs beiI had an early checkout. I understand there will be an elevator soon to alleviate this issue.

This property is a little gem in a lovely area away from the main tourist traps. Room 209 was enormous, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was lovely, not vast amount of choice but adequate to fill you up until elevensies!! There is no hotel bar but the staff are happy to serve you a glass of wine at the end of a long day trekking the hills of Lisbon and the complimentary coffee is a lovely touch. The staff are excellent all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If we ever go back to Lisbon we would definitely stay here again. It was faultless, Thank You Dear Lisbon!!

We got to the hotel late at night and had already asked for a baby cot - instead of the staff letting us know our bedroom was on the 3rd floor without a lift (the lift is going under refurbishment and doesn’t look like it’s going to be ready to use anytime soon as of oct ‘23), they simply didn’t tell us until we got there. Luckily our three massive luggages were sent straight to our final destination otherwise it would’ve been even worse. Rooms carpets needs some serious cleaning or even better, they need a change as very stained. Otherwise ok stay, staff was friendly.

Fantastiskt litet hotell med bra läge, personlig service, härlig miljö och en otrolig frukost. Vi kunde inte ha bott bättre! Om man har svårt att gå i trappor kan det vara bra att be om ett rum på våning 1 eller 2 eftersom de nås med hiss.

The hotel is in a good location, breakfast was great and our room was clean and comfortable. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty of options close by. We were disappointed that there is no tea or coffee in the room and restrictions on what is allowed. We understand from the team it was due to new carpets being fitted and spillages on the old, nevertheless, it's a little treat we missed on waking. It's a nice, independent, boutique hotel, with character and a good team.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of local shops and places to eat. Very walkable to tourist attractions. Our room was on the third floor. There’s a cute balcony. Note that the elevator only goes to the second floor. If there’s mobility issues or heavy luggage then consider staying on a lower floor. Staff is helpful, friendly and courteous.

This is a beautiful hotel, very clean, large rooms, comfy beds and a great bathtoom with everything you need. The breakfasts were fabulous, served from 8am. We found the hotel to be quite central and the old tram 28 stops right outside. The staff are very polite and do all they can to help. We had complimentary drinks on arrival. Check in and out was efficient. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Lisbon again. I will recommend to friends who are interested in Lisbon. Vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. De kamer was netjes, maar hier en daar wat reparatie nodig aan de muur en badkamer (verf/behang wat er af was gebladderd). Ontbijt was goed verzorgd, omgeving van het hotel is top.

This is an excellent boutique hotel in Central Lisbon. Very well appointed and tastefully decorated. The rooms are not massive but they are big enough and ours had high ceilings which compensated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was small but the shower had good pressure and temperature. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful and they provided a complimentary drink at check-in. A buffet breakfast was included and this was perfectly adequate. A great base for exploring Lisbon. About 15 minutes walk from a number of Metro/Train stations and also the same distance from the Time Out Market and waterfront area. There are also numerous bars and restaurants in the immediate surrounding area. We walked from the Metro to the hotel on arrival but were travelling very light. If you have more luggage I'd recommend taking a taxi from the airport. You can also book a transfer with the hotel which we used for our return trip to the airport as we had a very early flight. This cost 30euro which is a bit more that an Uber but the driver was waiting for us in the lobby at 4.30am. All in all highly recommended.

Really nice stay at the Gallery House. Convenient location with a Tram 28 stop outside. Good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Room was lovely and spacious with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed.. it’s a very nice boutique hotel option. The only minor criticism was the bedroom carpet would benefit from a clean - previous guests had left tea and coffee stains on the carpet near the kettle and coffee area. Overall highly recommended.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war wirklich lecker und immer liebevoll angerichtet. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer war sauber. Der einzige Nachteil war tatsächlich, dass die Straßenbahn unmittelbar vor der Tür hält. Dies war besonders in der Nacht laut.

The staff at the hotel made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. By far the best customer service we’ve received at a hotel. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean with spacious rooms. It’s situated away from the hectic city centre but close walking distance to great restaurants, bars and coffee shops in a lively part of town.

Amazing property. The room was lovely and spacious, to say we were facing the road it was really quiet and there was no noise that kept us up. Air conditioner in rooms to help keep it cool. Very clean throughout. From the time we arrived the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a welcome drink and luggage brought up to our room. Every day there was a note in the room with suggestion and notes on daily activities in the city. The breakfast was lovely, there were some bits that were there daily, but pastries and cold and hot selections changed daily. It was lovely to try a lot of different things in the morning. The location of the hotel was really good, there were some great resturants close by. We chose to walk into the city area where most sights were and it only took 30-40 mins, an easy walk down hill, more of an up hill walk back, but there are buses and trams that stop off close to the hotel that are regular. If we come back we will defiantly be staying here again, and will be recommending it to all our friends!

Located in a great area in the older part of Lisbon, close to places like the Timeout Market and other tourist centric areas. This place felt more like a boutique hotel/bnb rather than a typical hotel. The interior was stylish, and staff hospitable. I particularly enjoyed the rotating daily selection of breakfast in the morning, but wish it opened up earlier than 8am. Depending on the room it can get lots of noise from the street level. The rooms, while nice were very dark (not enough lighting) and didn\'t have USB charging which I found surprising for this tier of hotel. We were also not allowed to eat or drink in the room due to the "new carpets".

The hotel is in a very noisy area the tram 28 stops just below our room window and the deliveries to the local supermarket mean you get woken from 5am by noisy trucks - we had two very disturbed nights

Very comfortable stay, good shower and bedroom and great breakfast. The only negative was that the air conditioning was not very efficient and it was very hot in Lisbon.

This was my second stay at Dear Lisbon, my first was 4 years ago just as the world was emerging from the pandemic. On both visits, the staff was super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel itself is wonderful. Decor is thoughtful and stylish while still feeling warm and comfortable. The lobby room is large and comfy— great if you need to wait a bit for your room to be available but too jet lagged to do more than sit and relax. Breakfast is ample with plenty to choose from and variety from day to day. My husband especially loved the variety of juices— guava, mango, papaya— on offer of the course of our stay. The rooms for both stays were fantastic. Roomy, well-appointed, with a comfy bed. Both times I booked a room with a separate seating and found the couch to be comfy. Everything is very clean. My only suggestion would be better lighting by the bathroom sinks. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I wear minimal make-up, but I can see where others would find it problematic. All around, Dear Lisbon is my favorite hotel of the many I have stayed in. It is a perfect balance of service, comfort, and convenience all at an excellent price. Don’t hesitate, book your room!

The staff were exceptional and so efficient and helpful. They were so welcoming and professional. They welcomed us with a lovely complimentary cappuccino. Tessa gave us great recommendations of places to visit and great suggestion for Tuk tuk tour with the brilliant Antonio which was wonderful as my Mum is 80 years old and can’t walk much. Samuel and all the team were great and helped carry our bags and book our taxi for the airport. The nearby Santelmo restaurant they recommended and booked for us perfect for our first evening there. The property has a lovely interior design and the breakfast was good too. It was so handy that the famous tram 28 was just outside the hotel so we were easily able to get into town ans also the Santos train station was only 12mun walk away enabling us to go to Belem for a lovely afternoon there. All in all a lovely mini break away. Thank you to all the staff at Gallery House Lisbon!!

We had a lovely week at Dear Lisbon Gallery House. The weather wasn’t great but the team at Dear Lisbon had their own brand of sunshine. Everyone was so helpful but a special shout out to Tess and JP who went the extra mile every time. The team who made up the rooms were exceptional and the buffet breakfast was varied with something for everyone. Although the famous tram 28 is not running past the hotel there are buses and Uber was a reasonable alternative. I would recommend this niche boutique hotel as well worth staying in for sightseeing in beautiful Lisbon.

Recently stayed at Dear Lisbon - Gallery House and found the hotel to be perfect! The service is excellent and staff were always very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the staff made sure to include personal touches. The location of the hotel is perfect to get around Lisbon. Great location close to restaurants and shops. Nicely decorated. Tasty, well prepared breakfast. The only downside was that check-in was at 3 pm and they could not make an exception. My daughter had arrived that morning on a red eye flight from the US west coast so of course was exhausted and sleepy. The staff kept encouraging her to leave the hotel lobby to sight see but she really needed to shower and nap. This made for a less than ideal start to our trip. Many hotels have an afternoon check-in time but most find a room for those who arrive early, especially on long flights. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

We paid for an extra night so that when we arrived at 6am from our transatlantic flight, we could go directly to the room and freshen up, nap, etc. Management confirmed this in email and said our early arrival would be no problem. However, upon arrival, we were locked out with no entrance code. There with a phone number taped to the door, but no answer when called. We had to wait in the rain for 40 min until the morning staff came in and let us in. No apologies, just a "well, we didn't know". We then waited for another 40 min to be checked in and get a key. Also, be aware that no hot water/kettle/coffee is allowed in the rooms and is only available at breakfast starting at 8am. (Local coffee shops open at 830 or later). Early risers be damned. Also note that if you bring wine in, they will charge a corking fee. On the plus side, the rooms and common areas are cute and well maintained.

Highly recommended hotel! Location was good for getting to the various tourist spots - there’s a tram stop just outside and Ubers are really easy to get and not expensive. The rooms were immaculate. We had a room facing to road and expected it to be noisy - it wasn’t. Yes you can hear a passing tram when they’re running but they stop at a reasonable time. Breakfast was excellent and varied a little bit each day. Honestly couldn’t fault it as a choice of hotel. Lisbon is an excellent city break - definitely take a trip to Sintra for a day, trains are easy and frequent.

Excellent property with convenient Tram 28 stop right outside. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The parliament building is a 5 min walk. The Chiado metro station and the Santa Justa elevator are about 15-20 minutes by walk.

This is a lovely hotel with incredibly helpful staff - all rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard and look superb. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff are all super-attentive. Breakfast is excellent at the hotel but there are many good places to eat all around the hotel, and transport includes a regular small public bus that stops just outside the hotel. It links you to a great range of transport opportunities across the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff are excellent and provide a warm welcome. The hotel is friendly and the amenities are what you would expect. Location is good but wouldn't suit people that find a 20 to 30 minutes walk into the city centre . Public transport ( trams stop outside the hotel ) but are difficult to get on in high season.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of local shops and places to eat. Very walkable to tourist attractions. Our room was on the third floor. There’s a cute balcony. Note that the elevator only goes to the second floor. If there’s mobility issues or heavy luggage then consider staying on a lower floor. Staff is helpful, friendly and courteous.

We loved our stay! The E28 tram literally stops right at the door. It's walkable to Santos and Rossio station (to Sintra and Cascais within 45 minutes). The area is quiet but jam packed with restaurants, cafes and bars. The rooms are also immaculate and large and the staff amazingly helpful. The only let down for us was the breakfast. It could have been due to the hotel being full but the volume of food was just very small and not replenished as quickly. Our first and last mornings we didn't have much as everything was not replaced or as soon as it was, those closer had got to it. The timing of the breakfast being between 8am-10am was also nice if you wanted to be up and out but on the weekends, particularly Sundays it would be nice to extend it to possiby 11am, this is just as we noticed some guests coming down right at 9.50am when they had started closing it down, some even making plates for later. However overall we absolutely loved it.

The breakfast was a great bonus. It was well thoughtout and we were quite impressed with the variety and quality every day. Additionally the staff was extremely helpful in arranging transportation to the airport, offerring some unique experience suggestions, and helping both ourselves and other guests with reservations. Its a great location for someone who wants to experience Lisbon but not stay in the heart of the tourist districts.

Breakfast is always very important to me. The buffet wasn't huge, but it was varied and incredibly delicious. For example, there was scrambled eggs with bacon and a changing salad every day. There were also enough ingredients for a "healthy" muesli. The coffee tasted excellent. We had a room overlooking the courtyard for eight days. It was very quiet and larger than expected. The hotel's location was perfect for us. The staff was friendly and always helpful. If we plan another vacation in Lisbon, we would choose the Hotel Dear Lisbon again. Thank you for last week.

Our first impressions on arrival we were very impressed. The lounge area was lovely and a very convenient location /jumping on the trams etc. The big disappointment was the room. The hotel obviously had done serious damp issues as the wallpaper was literally falling off the wall in the corners and you could see it all peeling away. The carpeted floor was permanently wet/damp in the same area which was located near the shower so I suspected that there was also an ongoing leak that hadn’t been fixed. This was a separate issue to the wallpaper peeling off the back wall, which must have affected other rooms, not just ours. We did raise our concerns with two staff members and we got a very diluted response. They said they would notify their maintenance man and it was his day off. It was a Sunday. I did point out that that the damp issues must have been going on for a long time and it was not a job for a handyman. It was a shame because it is a lovely hotel but in a bad state of disrepair.

I did point out that that the damp issues must have been going on for a long time and it was not a job for a handyman. It was a shame because it is a lovely hotel but in a bad state of disrepair.

We were were greeted by Tessa who was lovely! She was helpful, kind and offered great recommendations. The hotel itself was nice, quite small, breakfast was mediocre. All in all it was a nice stay. Parking our car was a bit of an annoyance as you need to park about 10 min away

This hotel was fabulous!! Staff was wonderful room was clean location was amazing ! I cannot say enough great things about this hotel ☺️highly recommend and I will be staying here the next time I visit !!!
