Tv wasn’t working.. I called the guy and told him he said he didn’t know that the internet connection was weak.. I asked him so is there something I can do to he said he didn’t know very rude

This motel is under new ownership and it’s very apparent they are trying to revitalize it. I think they’re doing a great job. The room was small which didn’t bother me but the one thing I would have liked differently is that the A/C unit rattled loudly intermittently which disturbed my sleep.

Driving in I expected to hear "Welcome to the Bates Motel." However entering the cramped but clean and modern decor of the room gave me a different perspective. Economically priced, no space went unused. I considered sitting sideways on the toilet so my feet wouldn't have to be placed in the shower...LOL. THE TELEVISION WAS Netflix and instructions on the screen where in Spanish. If you are bilingual or read Spanish this might be a plus. Lots of restaurants, mostly delicious Mexican food, surround the area with plenty of shops and easy access to the Bishop Arts District of Oak Cliff. No in room phone to communicate with the front desk but a short walk to the window and a clerk will quickly assist you. Parking is free with small parking spaces. My F-150 barley fit between the lines. Mostly quite a loud scufful next door or what might have been the rearranging of all the furniture in the room at the same time caused me some temporary concern. Wifi was free and operational. Not handicapped friendly due to the cramped room space.

Staff was extremely rude, room was dirty, internet was literally dial up speed, offered hourly rates if that tells you anything lol, 10x10 foot jail cell sized room, broken bathroom door, broken tv remote so no tv, and its in Oak Cliff which is the ghetto. Wouldnt stay here again if it was my only option, rather sleep in my vehicle, and i traveled and lived in hotels for work for years, so im not the pickiest person. 1/10

This a good place if you just want sleep or passing through and don't want to pay a lot. The room space is a little tight and literally only fits a queen bed good for 2 adults, but it also had a mini fridge and microwave.

The Owner told me that I could check in early before I booked and after I booked and arrived he changed me 20$ dollars for a early check in... Then for the first 4 hours my room wouldn't pick up WiFi in the back of the building

The price is not matching place. The room is so tight, impossible to open the fridge. No coffe pot. Geting out and in of parking area difficult, some cables from electric pole hanging very low.

The room was very small, but I understand you get what you pay for sometimes. The pillows were so awful we had to roll up clothes to prop our heads. The TV or the WiFi (not sure which) was so horrible it wouldn't stream for more than 3 minutes without resetting and making us go back to the start. We weren't given the wifi password for our phones. There were literally no cups in the room; so if you need to take any medication, please bring your own cup - we had to try to scoop water in our hands to take our medication. The toilet wouldn't fully flush the toilet paper, and the sheets had bleach strains. The room is VERY small, as is the restroom. I had to put my feet on the edge of the shower to use the toilet. Also, there were not plugs to charge devices next to both sides of the bed. On a positive note, the A/C was cold, the mattress was fine, the fridge worked well. Also, the front check in area gentleman was very nice and polite both at check in and check out. He was the highlight of our stay.

The Internet in this place is horrible. The further you get back towards the end of the building the more the Internet does not work. This is my second room at this place and this time he put me further back away from the router. I basically have no service. The walls in this place are so thick that they cannot even penetrate a regular cell phone signal. The room he put me in is Just comfortable. You cannot open the refrigerator door because it is butted up against the nightstand so every time you attempt to open it, you kind of gotta squeeze your items inside. On top of how they treated me and accuse me of having multiple people in the room I don’t know why I decided to stay here again , I am very unhappy with my purchase seem to be nice people, but this place could use a little more work and a lot more kindness

You literally had to sit on the toilet with your feet in the shower pan. Parking only for small cars. Plumbing for shower was done backwards.

Walked in saw a roach in the bathroom floor left immediately

Only giving a one because the owners were so nice. Had multiple people tell me once I got here that we were not in a good part of town. We also got there the first day and the sheets on the bed were stained, it took 3 sets of sheets to find on that was kinda ok to sleep on. I was willing to look past all of this and just move on with life but unfortunately I got home and found lice in my hair. Definitely do not recommend.

The hotel had a cigarette smell to it. There was ash on the bed sheets and burn on on the covers

The room is very small. There were multiple types of hair on the sheet, pillows and blanket. The floors were dirty and the entire room looked/felt dingy. The owners were friendly. I chose this hotel because it was very close to an event I was attending, it was very inexpensive and I was just going to be there long enough to sleep.

Towels and linen were not clean and smelled awful.

Walked in. Saw burn hole and stains in comforter. Barely able to walk around bed. Floor was not level... im talking about a gooooood slope. Could hear adjacent rooms barely talking. I walked out, bioked another room and did not even try and ask for my room to be cancelled because they had a "no refunds" sign on the window. Never will inever go here again. Take this off the platform.

The bathroom had not been cleaned, and the bed spread had stains on it. Luckily, we had sleeping bags that we could sleep in, and not touch the sheets or pillows.

Never again! U get what you pay for and I sure did smh different bugs in the room, tiny bathroom with no leg room to use the toilet, couldn’t turn the ac unit off so I had to endure constant cold air or heat

It’s tight fit so you and someone else would constantly run into each other. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut! Barn door style. Looked like at one point it was nice but it’s been run over. Had water damage in the ceiling corner. The faucet was almost coming up and out of the base! All I can say is don’t do it!!! I wished who ever did the prior reviews told the dang truth!

Its a cool little spot,just be prepared cause there isn’t alot of moving around room

It was so small

To sit down on the toilet, you have to put your feet in the shower. We left early one time, thinking our room would be clean however I had to take out the trash and towels. We asked for extra pillows, we couldn’t have any. The toilet was dirty and had hair.

Quick check in process

Very nice for a one person room. Hot water and A/C worked lovely. TV was a bit busted. It's price it was definitely worth it if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. Also staff was very nice!!

I had to book at different hotel. Wouldn’t give refund. Room made me itch! Very terrible customer service. I was told, “If I don’t like it, go home.” VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The manager and his wife were very rude, the bed was full of some type of small bugs and the tv never worked

The staff was unfriendly and rude. The bathroom was very small and one has to squeeze oneself onto the WC. There is no decent place to eat or shop around the place. The pillows were not fluffy and looked old. The staff did not smile and were unwelcoming.

If you’re traveling alone please don’t stay here! I had men come up to me asking for money (clearly was on drugs) there was an abandoned house right next door. When I was waiting on my Uber the manager came out asking if everything was okay and waiting with me. (In the middle of the day). When I got there no one other visitors were there and they still charged me $30 each dollars for early check in. I ended up checking out and going to another hotel where I felt more safe! The management didn’t speak good English and they also wouldn’t refund me any of my money back.

This place just smells and looks very unsafe crackheads are all over the area I didn’t even stay the night just checked out, would not recommend. Just spend the extra 50-79 bucks on a actual hotel if you can I ended up doing just that

I was a little concerned with the location when I showed up but it was actually fine just keep your head on a swivel if you’re travelling alone.

It's located in a terrible area. The linen was filthy. The towels had what looked like pubic hair in them. I booked for 4 nights and didn't stay a single night because I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. There was a large man in a chair outside of my door asking for hugs ... I definitely don't recommend this hotel. And when I complained and asked for a refund I was denied through the hotel and Expedia. It ruined my plans for my vacation. Thank God I had a friend near to help. Please don't rent here .

The property is remote away from main areas. Very quiet at night, very nice.

Off the freeway just what I was looking for

It's close to downtown and it's very cheap compared to other hotels near not bad for a 3 star

The lighting was great, room was great. Access to highway and arts and restaurants

Crime and disgusting by any standard.
