Motel 6 Fort Mill, SC - Charlotte

We came down for a couple days at carowinds and this is super close. Just drive further. Our room was so dirty I had to go buy Lysol and Clorox wipes just to feel comfortable enough to lay my stuff down. There was lots of visible dirt and dead bugs. Would not recommend this hotel no matter how cheap it was.

Very rough property poorly maintained with inaccurate listings, said they had non-smoking rooms available but that was not true. Everything was slow.

Very disappointing experience – not recommended I arrived at the hotel late at night/early morning after a long trip, only to be told at check-in that my reservation had been canceled. I was never notified in advance—no call, no email, no message of any kind. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional, especially given the hour and the fact that I was exhausted. The staff did not provide a real solution or assistance in finding alternative accommodations. This situation is unacceptable for a hotel. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable lodging.

On evening one the toilet never emptied. I told front desk the next morning and when I came back there was a stinch of the previous evening's usage. So, that meant no one came to fit it. I called to the front desk and there was no answer.
