The hotel was nice. But certainly do not understand the "exceptional" rating. The bar had no beer and the pool was no bigger than a paddling pool. Rooms were pretty but not spacious.

A great hotel with helpful service, clean rooms, and central location. Lots of small touches that make you feel well looked after We particularly appreciated the welcome pastel de nata and the port on leaving. The hotel restaurant/bar aren't great but given the location you have so many bars, restaurants, and cafes that this wasn't an issue. The only minor issue we had was that the shower drain sometimes smeller a bit before running water down it.

What a great hotel in the center of Porto! The location couldn't be beat - right next to a Metro station and a few bus lines and a short walk to a train station. There was another Editory hotel nearby, but this one isn't in the crazy busy tourist area, just a few minutes away. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and gave great recommendations on things to do. It was nice to have a pool area to relax in after a busy day. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom as fully stocked, and we loved the fluffy bathrobes!

Wonderful staff who really made the stay memorable from my arrival at the hotel door. Nice (upgraded) room, terrific breakfast and universally charming staff a pleasure. The only tiny negative I can give is there were no towels by the swimming pool, otherwise it was all excellent, I’d definitely recommend

Well appointed hotel in a super location. Room was very comfortable and quite. Had drinks in the bar which was interesting and unique. Pool looked great sadly I forgot a barhing suit! Would definitely recommend any hotel in the group

The location and decor were super. The gym was minimally equipped and was not serviced frequently so the water had run out both times I used it . The staff are friendly and helpful but they may be short staffed. The bar was unmanned when I visited.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was in a great location and the staff was super helpful. We got told to go to another area outside of Porto for seafood - which I wouldn’t do again as it was pricey and nothing special. Would recommend to stay here. The pool is a nice touch as well.

Our stay was ok. There were a couple of very helpful staff members but one of the receptionist almost put my fiance into strangers car because she was too lazy to check the license plate. That was even after my fiance told her it wasn't her uber. We also didn't get our room cleaned for some reason. It's a great location but there aren't many amenities and considering the price and area, it leaves a lot to be desired. 6/10.

This hotel was very clean with great and friendly staff. Location was perfect and easily walkable to all the sites. The continental breakfast was a perfect selection of food options and a great way to start the journey/day. The rooms (we stayed in the Superior View Room) was very spacious, clean and elegant but not much of a view, however that does not matter. Highly recommend this place for the price, amenities and location and not to forget the amazing staff.

Loved our stay at the Editory. The staff were very kind and friendly. They greeted us immediately upon arrival. Our room was perfect. Immaculate property. Was very clean. The location was fantastic as well. We were within walking distance to all the major downtown attractions and had a subway stop right outside the door.

It was not easy to find as there has no significant hotel name on the entrance. There has 2 or 3 staircases on the entrance which is not convenient for the customers when they have large luggage. The house-keeping team seems to be a bit careless without checking everything properly before release the room to new visitors.

The Editory Aliados is a beautiful hotel. We loved the staff that functioned as both reception and concierge. The breakfast was very nice, although some variety from day to day would have nice. The bar was small and intimate. The location was perfect with lots of dining and things to do within a few minutes walk. A metro stop was just a few feet from the front door. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Outstanding bathrooms!

This was my second time staying in this hotel and had a really great stay again. The service at check in was great - I had an early flight and they dealt with the formalities of check in when I arrived and held on to my luggage until my room was ready. When I came back to collect my room key, they said they had taken my case up which was a nice touch. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious and clean. They left some little snacks out on arrival as well as a bottle of port which was nice. The rainfall shower was really lovely and a nice spacious shower. Location wise this is great - doesn’t take long to get to the river but also close to Sao Bento and Trinidad’s stations. There is 24/7 reception staff which helped me to feel safe especially as a solo female traveller. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Hotellet er nyrenoveret og ligger meget centralt. Personalet var høflige og venlige. Værelset var lille og der manglede skabs/hyldeplads til tøjet ( vi var der en hel uge). Badeværelset: Der manglede knager og stang til de våde håndklæder. Der manglede fornuftig plads til 2 toilettasker. Morgenmad:: Vi valgte morgenmad hver dag. Det skortede lidt med at fylde op. Sidste morgen skulle vi afsted inden åbning af restauranten, så vi fik en pakke med. Den var elendig. Vi havde foreslået alene at betale for 6 morgener og så tage lidt i lufthavnen, men det var ikke en mulighed. Så skulle vi betale 2x 20 euro pr. Dag for 6 dage. 240 euro. Nu blev det. 32x7 = 224 euro. 32 euro for en elendig madpakke det er for galt.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a nice area of Porto. Receptionists are always there to great us and they were very helpful. Room was very cozy and well stocked with amenities. It’s on the small side, but adequate for two of us. The hotel is within walking distance to the churches (Santa Clara, Se do Porto, Dos Carmo, Dos Carmelitas, and Dos Clerigos. Cais da Ribeira and the Dom Luis are not too far.

This boutique hotel was quite the find. Smartly appointed and well maintained; the location was right on the main plaza downtown. A couple of things stood out. The front desk staff were fantastic; professional, courteous, very helpful. The restaurant was an unexpected joy as the chef (Leoni?) put together a superb meal for us and stopped by to chat and talk about the food. Our server (I've forgotten her name but she's a young lady with an eipc fro) was fantastic as well. Also, I'd be remiss in not mentioning the breakfast manager who ran the morning's meals; she was the bomb. She was like a conductor of a symphonic orchestra directing staff to cater to the needs of their customers all the while she pitched in with a wink and a smile making sure everyone was prepared to hit the streets for their day's activities. Highly recommend.

I loved the style of this hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The location is very convenient 8 minute walk for the Trinidad line E metro direct from the airport and line D metro is located just by the entry. Some great restaurants nearby. I will be back.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and had a really great stay again. The service at check in was great - I had an early flight and they dealt with the formalities of check in when I arrived and held on to my luggage until my room was ready. When I came back to collect my room key, they said they had taken my case up which was a nice touch. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious and clean. They left some little snacks out on arrival as well as a bottle of port which was nice. The rainfall shower was really lovely and a nice spacious shower. Location wise this is great - doesn’t take long to get to the river but also close to Sao Bento and Trinidad’s stations. There is 24/7 reception staff which helped me to feel safe especially as a solo female traveller. Will definitely come back and stay again!

The location and decor were super. The gym was minimally equipped and was not serviced frequently so the water had run out both times I used it . The staff are friendly and helpful but they may be short staffed. The bar was unmanned when I visited.

I loved the style of this hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The location is very convenient 8 minute walk for the Trinidad line E metro direct from the airport and line D metro is located just by the entry. Some great restaurants nearby. I will be back.

What a great hotel in the center of Porto! The location couldn't be beat - right next to a Metro station and a few bus lines and a short walk to a train station. There was another Editory hotel nearby, but this one isn't in the crazy busy tourist area, just a few minutes away. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and gave great recommendations on things to do. It was nice to have a pool area to relax in after a busy day. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom as fully stocked, and we loved the fluffy bathrobes!

Great location -close enough to popular stops, train, ATM, shops, restaurants, etc. Very attentive to your needs, clean and quiet. Very unique bar worth visiting. As a solo traveler, I would recommend this spot. The room (full bed) was just the right size for me.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a nice area of Porto. Receptionists are always there to great us and they were very helpful. Room was very cozy and well stocked with amenities. It’s on the small side, but adequate for two of us. The hotel is within walking distance to the churches (Santa Clara, Se do Porto, Dos Carmo, Dos Carmelitas, and Dos Clerigos. Cais da Ribeira and the Dom Luis are not too far.

Joanna was the first person we met and was great in helping me set up a Portuguese phone number so I could access Uber. Hot and cold buffet breakfast was delicious. Some great restaurants only a few feet away from the Editory boulevard hotel. We will stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable and stylish and the lobby is very attractive. The staff were incredibly helpful and very pleasant. The food in the restaurant is very good including the vegetarian options. We ate there twice even though we had the whole city to choose from. The only downside was that there was a strange porthole window from the bedroom to the bathroom so you could see people using the toilet. They should put frosted or distorting glass in this window. It is not normal.

This boutique hotel was quite the find. Smartly appointed and well maintained; the location was right on the main plaza downtown. A couple of things stood out. The front desk staff were fantastic; professional, courteous, very helpful. The restaurant was an unexpected joy as the chef (Leoni?) put together a superb meal for us and stopped by to chat and talk about the food. Our server (I've forgotten her name but she's a young lady with an eipc fro) was fantastic as well. Also, I'd be remiss in not mentioning the breakfast manager who ran the morning's meals; she was the bomb. She was like a conductor of a symphonic orchestra directing staff to cater to the needs of their customers all the while she pitched in with a wink and a smile making sure everyone was prepared to hit the streets for their day's activities. Highly recommend.

Lots of small touches that make you feel well looked after We particularly appreciated the welcome pastel de nata and the port on leaving. The hotel restaurant/bar aren't great but given the location you have so many bars, restaurants, and cafes that this wasn't an issue. The only minor issue we had was that the shower drain sometimes smeller a bit before running water down it.

The hotel is an amazing oasis of tranquility in the heart of Porto. A small quiet 5star boutique style hotel. A fantastic stay except breakfast was underwhelming and staff not at all attentive which was a bit disappointing considering everything else was superb. Trays weren't cleaned off yet staff standing around. No explanation hot freshly cooked options were available. My sister who is celiac was treated like a leper... I did push for a cooked breakfast and was met with a very accomplished eggs Benedict. My sister had an incredible omelette and mom had poached eggs. No refill of coffee offered and while food was lovely staff walked around like zombies. Sorry guys, you work in hospitality and there are plenty of staff!

Hotel is perfectly situated to benefit from local attractions with a metro station close by. Hotel was very quiet and all air conditioned so nice and cool of a day and evening. Staff are excellent and cater for your needs, special mention to Laianna the chef who catered specially for all my allergens. The hotel is exquisite, rooms are very good and all soundproofed. A brilliant place so thankyou.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and again did not disappoint. From the pre-arrival messages, to the easy check in with a pastel de nata, and the calming atmosphere in the reception area, first impressions were impeccable as usual. My room was spacious with a great sized closet, bathroom with large walk in shower and a comfy bed. They also left a small bottle of port and a bottle of water, as well as having tea / coffee facilities. The location is great for getting around Porto, plus close to both Sao Bento train station as well as Aliados and Trinidade metro stops. It’s great location wise for solo female travellers (noting that Porto is generally really safe), with 24hr reception staff too. I’ll definitely be back and stay again when next in Porto.
