Great property in an amazing location. We were blown away by the Aliados view. We also had a delay coming in and the hotel worked with us to rearrange the reservation. Could not recommend more.

This was a nice hotel that I picked based on other reviews. I found choosing a hotel in Porto to be more of a challenge (which was simply overthinking), but I'm glad I went with this choice. The staff the very friendly and offered us a complimentary pastel de nata (pastry) when we arrived. The room was nice, clean, but small. The highlight of the room was the incredible water pressure in the shower. There was a strange port hole in the bathroom wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. Probably meant to let natural light into the bathroom, but reduces privacy. The location is convenient. A short walk from the main train station with a metro stop just steps from the lobby. There are several good restaurants on the streets immediately behind the hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel. From the moment you sit down to check in, you are treated like you are valued. They staff are warm and welcoming and the rooms are spotless. The rooms have everything you need in them a the window adds an odd, but quirky extra. The beds are comfy and I loved that there were two sorts of pillows so you could mould it to your choice. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food but if the pastries we were given on check in were anything to go by, I am sure it would be amazing. I was unfortunately rather ill on our last day there (not alcohol induced either!) and whilst I had to call the staff for some help, they couldn’t have been more amazing and caring. They genuinely wanted to do all they could to help and I couldn’t fault them at all. The shower is lovely and powerful, the bed is comfy and the location of the hotel is perfect. Do I have any negatives, yes - we only got two espresso pods for the whole stay (we were there for 5 days) and it would have been nice for them to be replenished but there are loads of nice places to get coffee near by so it wasn’t a huge issue. The hairdryer isn’t powerful so with long thick hair like myself, it took far too long (just take your own) and if you can get the aircon to work in the room or the gym then you are a better person than I am. In fairness to that last comment though, I didn’t ask for help from the staff and I have no doubt they would have done if I had swallowed my pride a bit! Absolutely recommend
