Updated rooms, allowed me to check in early, the staff was friendly. Pool in good condition and breakfast was plentiful including both continental items and some Mexican dishes like beans. Complementary coffee at all times is a big big plus! The only negative is the the club next to east side of the hotel is excessively LOUD. Beyond normal loud and plays until very late. Even with a white noise machine at full volume we could not drown the noise. I wonder why there is not regulation regarding volume next to a hotel!

Love the friendly staff. It’s located at such a convenient place with plenty of dinning and shopping options even a convenience store at walking distance. There’s also plenty of parking. The continental breakfast was ok, but had everything warm and staff was attentive to anything we needed. It’s very clean and quiet as well.

The parking is not secured by gate. We did find someone’s finger prints on our window and poop smeared on the bumper. Luckily no one broke into the car no valuables were left behind. The room was clean and secure and was roomy. Staff was very polite and friendly and the breakfast was great. I liked that it was really close to the border. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Just don’t leave valuables or wires exposed.

Our stay was perfect, the staff was very friendly and our overall stay was great. Plenty of parking, even if it is in an open area, the area is nice. Definitely, in the nicest part of town.

We just got home in SD from our trip to Mexicali for Fiestas Del Sol. I was very impressed how amazing the staff were the entire stay. The hotel is kept very clean and safe, and the free breakfast was sometjing I wasn't expecting...so fantastic! The rooms are super spacious and the beds are way more comforable than I expected. So overall, Team Diaz LOVES Holiday Inn Mexicali and will be returning sometime in the near future. Peace

Room 103 was a bit annoying with a hitting noise by the door. I heard that the entire night. I believe it was something related to the AC. That was the only issue I had.

The property is in a really nice place of the city, there are several restaurants and also bars around the hotel, the place was very clean. The room was very nice., the only thing was the TV was not a smart TV so it would be nice if it had smart TV and be able to watch Netflix or other streaming platforms when you’re not out and about

Our room was handicap accessible, which was fine but the bathroom door latch was stuck and then it fell apart and during the stay it would have a loud noise coming from the air vent in the bathroom.

Everything was great, but the only thing was that my refrigerator didn’t work while I was staying at the hotel. Other than that service is great. The staff was great. Food is great beautiful vibe and we’re definitely coming back.

Esta comodo el hotel, se encuentra en una plaza donde hay muchos comercios y lugares de comida como tavola tratoria super rico el desayuno. Lo descubrimos porque ya habian quitado el desayuno de cortesia del hotel. Eso fue lo que no nos gusto que el desayuno de cortesia lo quitan muy temprano si llegas a las 10 am ya no hay nada solo cafe o agua caliente ojala que pudiera extenderse mas horario de oerdida hasta las 12 que es cuando haces la salida del cuarto
