Oasis Inn & Suites 29 Palms Hotel Joshua Tree National Park

The staff was helpful, the room was clean, water was hot in the morning, all these are good things. However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also. We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off. Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE.

The hot tub and pool area is very relaxing.

Staff gave a warm welcome at check-in. There's loads of free parking. WiFi is spotty depending where you are in the building - tonnes better on the ground floor so go there for any big downloads. Room was spacious and comfortable. The ice machine had been removed from our floor but this wasn't a massive issue. The in room coffee machine was appreciated as were the complimentary toiletries.

The air conditioner worked fine. Unfortunately, it's the type of unit that cycles on and off throughout the night. We ended up turning it off which was our choice. Fortunately, it was not that hot the night we stayed. We also understand that issue has nothing to do with the staff.
