Insgesamt eine tolle Außenanlagen die keine Wünsche übrig lässt. Das Falkensteiner Iadera Hotel ***** ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, meiner Meinung nach entspricht es eher einem soliden **** Hotel und nicht *****. Die Zimmer sollten in den kommen Jahren renoviert werden, schon jetzt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis was das Hotel angeht grenzwertig. Dennoch muss ich nochmal die Außenanlagen loben mit Privatstrand, das gibt es nicht oft. Insgesamt war es ein guter Urluab.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities - the breakfast was great and the restaurant has plenty of dinning options too. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you can step out to a clean and private beach area! There is nothing to do around the hotel, but Zadar old town is a 20 minute drive with Ubers available. Would highly recommend this hotel!

All was great, only thing which is strange is paid parking - as this is seaparate area for hotel guests and there are lot of spacies, I dont understand why we should pay for parking.

Our visit was mid September. The landscaping on the run up to the hotel was worryingly poor and the buildings that we passed looked like they were from the Soviet era. However, once you get into the hotel, all of that is forgotten. Parking is quite expensive. The restaurants are good. Room decor has a few bumps and scratches but overall good. One fantastic feature is that there are loungers positioned on the private beach that are readily available, many in shady spots under the trees. And in the two shoreline restaurants you can eat literally 20 feet from the ocean. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. However, the hotel would be wise to improve its landscaping towards its vehicular entrance. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

This is a very nice exclusive hotel. The half board is a great option. They even had an outdoor grill one night and it was just incredible. Typical Croatian food with grilled suckling pig, chevabchichi and also fish with all the sides. Very great place. Nice pools. Good beach. Full bar and a very healthy atmosphere and health conscious foods. Would definitely go back 5*

What a beautiful resort. Everything from check-in to checkout was amazing. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Pia, the receptionist and Jelena the waitress left a positive impression with us. The resort ground was impeccable and our room was excellent with uplifting and welcoming decorations. The beach was exactly what we were looking for with crystal clear water and plenty of shade under pine trees. The food was delicious as well. I do not understand the few negative reviews that have been left but assume that the beauty of this resort and its surrounding was simply not appreciated. I would definitely come back!

Das Areal des Hotels ist wunderschön. Es gibt zahlreiche Angebote für Aktivitäten im Bereich Unterhaltung und Sport. Der Wellnessbereich ist traumhaft mystisch, schön und ruhig. Am Strand entlang führt ein romatischer Steinweg zwischen Bäumen zum Spazieren. Das Personal ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit.

Spat var nudist spa & var inte tillåtet med bikini. Samt spat var väldigt risigt & i dåligt skick, kalla pooler. Samt väldigt dåligt med att dom inte informerat att dom drar 400€ extra för hotell rummet, plockade inte undan gamla matrester från hotellrummet eller tömde askkopp vid städning. Servicen var väldigt dålig. Kommer inte åka hit igen. 1300€ för ett 5 stjärnigt hotell med dålig service.

The Falkensteiner Ladera was a good stay. Not going to say great because that would be a stretch. The room was nice and bed was comfortable and my ocean view was to die for. The area surrounding was nice as there is like a 1km walk around the property that is so nice. The areas that they need to improve on is general property maintenance and the half board meal service. The lawn area for some reason looked like it had just seen a hurricane as the lounge chairs were scattered and the umbrellas were very hastily just thrown down all over and it wasn’t the scene that you expect from a property like this. There was some blue tarp covering something that was unsightly for a luxury spa. The carpet in the hallways is getting tattered and showed stains in some areas and there was a place in my room that the floor was repaired in a very subpar way. The half board food service was ok. Not a great atmosphere although they did have live music once. The service getting your drinks is slow and the food was cold on day 1. I arrived at 7:!5 and the buffet didn’t even open until 7 and my tuna steak and pasta were both cold. Not the greatest. All in all - ok but was underwhelmed. It could be so much more with some love and attention.

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel sehr in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit könnte jedoch besser sein. Die Tische sind teilweise noch vom Vorabend verschmutzt bzw. steht da immer leeres Geschirr im Poolbereich. Die Wassertemperatur der Außenpools und im SPA Bereich könnte auch ein paar Grad mehr sein wenn ich das mit dem Hotel in Stegersbach vergleiche.

Air conditioner did not do much. Never cooled down in our room. You couldn't set the temperature but only the fan speed. Not what you would expect from a 5 star rated property. The shower was a tub wth a half window.

Leider hatten wir bei der Ankunft kein sauberes Zimmer (Flecken am Boden, Schimmel in der Dusche, WC mit Kalkablagerungen, kaputte Balkontüre, dreckige Balkonmöbel) also nicht einem 5Sterne entsprechend, auf unsere Beschwerde haben die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sofort eine Lösung gesucht und uns wurde ein weiteres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt (dies war leider auch nicht sauber, rote Flecken am Boden) erst nachdem wir das 3. Zimmer bekommen hatten, hat dies gepasst. Da wir schon öfters in dem Hotel in der Vergangenheit waren, haben wir uns den Standard wie aus der Vergangenheit erwartet, aber wir mussten leider feststellen das dieser nachgelassen hatte. Viele Mängel in der Anlage die wir auch dem Direktor gezeigt haben und er diese mit Verständnis annahm. Wir hatten leider auch einen Wasserschaden im Zimmer ausgelöst durch die Klimaanlage - das Problem wurde zwar auch behoben, aber leider sind wir schockiert wie das alles in einem 5Sterne Resort passieren kann (den man zahlt auch demgemäß). Die Mitarbeiter sind sonst alle sehr sehr bemüht, versuchen sofort nach einer Lösung zu suchen (wobei bei der Rezeption nach unserer Beschwerde es von einer Dame doch zu einigen frechen Kommentaren kam, die man einem Kunden nicht sagt wie zb sie haben aber NUR Park View gebucht - ich verstehe nicht was die Park View Aussage damit zu tun hat (so auf die Art das wir ein billigeres Zimmer gebucht hätten)-trotzdem muss der Standard im ganzen Hotel in Ordnung sein. Sonst war alles in Ordnung

Sehr sauber. Tolles und aufmerksames Personal. Schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Pool hätte einen Tick wärmer sein dürfen. Whirlpool leider nicht nutzbar, da dieser ausgebessert werden musste. Dies hätte drei Tage andauern sollen, leider war der Whirlpool am 5 Tag immer noch nicht nutzbar.

There was some blue tarp covering something that was unsightly for a luxury spa. The carpet in the hallways is getting tattered and showed stains in some areas and there was a place in my room that the floor was repaired in a very subpar way. The half board food service was ok. Not a great atmosphere although they did have live music once. The service getting your drinks is slow and the food was cold on day 1. I arrived at 7:!5 and the buffet didn’t even open until 7 and my tuna steak and pasta were both cold. Not the greatest. All in all - ok but was underwhelmed. It could be so much more with some love and attention.

Our visit was mid September. The landscaping on the run up to the hotel was worryingly poor and the buildings that we passed looked like they were from the Soviet era. However, once you get into the hotel, all of that is forgotten. Parking is quite expensive. The restaurants are good. Room decor has a few bumps and scratches but overall good. One fantastic feature is that there are loungers positioned on the private beach that are readily available, many in shady spots under the trees. And in the two shoreline restaurants you can eat literally 20 feet from the ocean. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. However, the hotel would be wise to improve its landscaping towards its vehicular entrance. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll, bereits am Check In wird man herzlich begrüßt! Das Zimmer unheimlich geräumig und im Bad sogar mit Fußbodenheizung. Die Lage vom Hotel, sowie das Falkenstein Resort sind wunderbar. Am Pool und Strand findet man ausreichend Liegestühle. Wirklich fantastisch ist das Frühstück, lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen und ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Buffet am Abend kostet 55€/pro Person und die Getränke im Hotel erfüllen ein mittleres bis hohes Preisniveau. Late Check out wenn Verfügbar, gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr möglich. Ansonsten besteht die Option sein Gepäck zu deponieren und im Spa Bereich nochmal zu duschen. Fahrt von/bis Flughafen Zadar ca. 30-40min und Taxikosten liegen bei 48€ pro Strecke Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs und würde jeder Zeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

What a beautiful resort. Everything from check-in to checkout was amazing. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Pia, the receptionist and Jelena the waitress left a positive impression with us. The resort ground was impeccable and our room was excellent with uplifting and welcoming decorations. The beach was exactly what we were looking for with crystal clear water and plenty of shade under pine trees. The food was delicious as well. I do not understand the few negative reviews that have been left but assume that the beauty of this resort and its surrounding was simply not appreciated. I would definitely come back!

Sehr sauber. Tolles und aufmerksames Personal. Schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Pool hätte einen Tick wärmer sein dürfen. Whirlpool leider nicht nutzbar, da dieser ausgebessert werden musste. Dies hätte drei Tage andauern sollen, leider war der Whirlpool am 5 Tag immer noch nicht nutzbar.

Eines der besten Hotels in denen wir jemals waren! Lage, Ausstattung, Personal, Innen- und Außenpoosl, Wellnessbereich, Essen, alles einfach perfekt. Ein wahres 5* Hotel. Die Zimmer sind super und die Anlage ein Traum. Wir waren das dritte Mal da dieses Mal für 8 Tage und haben jede Sekunde genossen. Das beste an allem sind aber die Mitarbeiter, die so unglaublich nett sind und einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ablesen. Wir können hier nur einige nennen: der professionelle Simon (Rezeption), der legendäre Carlos (Pool Bar), der beste Bar Chef Angelo (Bar), die freundliche Katharina (Restaurant), der beste Weinkenner Charlie (Abendessen).... alle sind einfach nicht zu übertreffen. Spat var nudist spa & var inte tillåtet med bikini. Samt spat var väldigt risigt & i dåligt skick, kalla pooler. Samt väldigt dåligt med att dom inte informerat att dom drar 400€ extra för hotell rummet, plockade inte undan gamla matrester från hotellrummet eller tömde askkopp vid städning. Servicen var väldigt dålig. Kommer inte åka hit igen. 1300€ för ett 5 stjärnigt hotell med dålig service.

Am Abend sollte ein Buffet zur Verfügung stehen, damit mehr Auswahl gewährleistet ist. Im Steakhouse waren die Wartezeiten sehr lange und wir wurden trotz Reservierung weggeschickt. Ein Kellner (Yusuf) war sehr freundlich, ansonsten wären wir gegangen. Essen war dafür sehr gut. Tennis war sehr überteuert. Es wurde automatisch ein Parkplatz verrechnet, welchen wir am Ende streichen mussten, weil wir mit keinem Auto angekommen sind. Das Hotel war wirklich sehr schön.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities - the breakfast was great and the restaurant has plenty of dinning options too. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you can step out to a clean and private beach area! There is nothing to do around the hotel, but Zadar old town is a 20 minute drive with Ubers available. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Leider hatten wir bei der Ankunft kein sauberes Zimmer (Flecken am Boden, Schimmel in der Dusche, WC mit Kalkablagerungen, kaputte Balkontüre, dreckige Balkonmöbel) also nicht einem 5Sterne entsprechend, auf unsere Beschwerde haben die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sofort eine Lösung gesucht und uns wurde ein weiteres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt (dies war leider auch nicht sauber, rote Flecken am Boden) erst nachdem wir das 3. Zimmer bekommen hatten, hat dies gepasst. Da wir schon öfters in dem Hotel in der Vergangenheit waren, haben wir uns den Standard wie aus der Vergangenheit erwartet, aber wir mussten leider feststellen das dieser nachgelassen hatte. Viele Mängel in der Anlage die wir auch dem Direktor gezeigt haben und er diese mit Verständnis annahm. Wir hatten leider auch einen Wasserschaden im Zimmer ausgelöst durch die Klimaanlage - das Problem wurde zwar auch behoben, aber leider sind wir schockiert wie das alles in einem 5Sterne Resort passieren kann (den man zahlt auch demgemäß). Die Mitarbeiter sind sonst alle sehr sehr bemüht, versuchen sofort nach einer Lösung zu suchen (wobei bei der Rezeption nach unserer Beschwerde es von einer Dame doch zu einigen frechen Kommentaren kam, die man einem Kunden nicht sagt wie zb sie haben aber NUR Park View gebucht - ich verstehe nicht was die Park View Aussage damit zu tun hat (so auf die Art das wir ein billigeres Zimmer gebucht hätten)-trotzdem muss der Standard im ganzen Hotel in Ordnung sein. Sonst war alles in Ordnung

Insgesamt eine tolle Außenanlagen die keine Wünsche übrig lässt. Das Falkensteiner Iadera Hotel ***** ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, meiner Meinung nach entspricht es eher einem soliden **** Hotel und nicht *****. Die Zimmer sollten in den kommen Jahren renoviert werden, schon jetzt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis was das Hotel angeht grenzwertig. Dennoch muss ich nochmal die Außenanlagen loben mit Privatstrand, das gibt es nicht oft. Insgesamt war es ein guter Urluab.

The Falkensteiner Ladera was a good stay. Not going to say great because that would be a stretch. The room was nice and bed was comfortable and my ocean view was to die for. The area surrounding was nice as there is like a 1km walk around the property that is so nice. The areas that they need to improve on is general property maintenance and the half board meal service. The lawn area for some reason looked like it had just seen a hurricane as the lounge chairs were scattered and the umbrellas were very hastily just thrown down all over and it wasn’t the scene that you expect from a property like this. There was some blue tarp covering something that was unsightly for a luxury spa. The carpet in the hallways is getting tattered and showed stains in some areas and there was a place in my room that the floor was repaired in a very subpar way. The half board food service was ok. Not a great atmosphere although they did have live music once. The service getting your drinks is slow and the food was cold on day 1. I arrived at 7:!5 and the buffet didn’t even open until 7 and my tuna steak and pasta were both cold. Not the greatest. All in all - ok but was underwhelmed. It could be so much more with some love and attention.
The Falkensteiner Ladera was a good stay. Not going to say great because that would be a stretch. The room was nice and bed was comfortable and my ocean view was to die for. The area surrounding was nice as there is like a 1km walk around the property that is so nice. The areas that they need to improve on is general property maintenance and the half board meal service. The lawn area for some reason looked like it had just seen a hurricane as the lounge chairs were scattered and the umbrellas were very hastily just thrown down all over and it wasn’t the scene that you expect from a property like this. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities - the breakfast was great and the restaurant has plenty of dinning options too. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you can step out to a clean and private beach area! There is nothing to do around the hotel, but Zadar old town is a 20 minute drive with Ubers available. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Our visit was mid September. The landscaping on the run up to the hotel was worryingly poor and the buildings that we passed looked like they were from the Soviet era. However, once you get into the hotel, all of that is forgotten. Parking is quite expensive. The restaurants are good. Room decor has a few bumps and scratches but overall good. One fantastic feature is that there are loungers positioned on the private beach that are readily available, many in shady spots under the trees. And in the two shoreline restaurants you can eat literally 20 feet from the ocean. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. However, the hotel would be wise to improve its landscaping towards its vehicular entrance. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

This was meant to be a treat for tired, sore back travelers, advertised as a luxury spa resort.It failed.The booking made on Expedia website clearly stated 2 separate beds. The hotel claimed they did not receive the exact information. They tried to be somewhat accommodating and made a bed out of 2 couches. The arrangement did not work well as the couches moved at night and were uncomfortable. If you cannot sleep well, relaxation is gone. The spa was mostly nude and for unaccompanied women, quite uncomfortable. It has saunas, cooling and warming small pools. No real hot tub or jets. Had a massage session at US hotel prices. The masseuse was good , however did not ask about any medical conditions or precautions. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pizza place provided an undercooked crust average pie. The other restaurants were good, not excellent.The indoor/outdoor pools are nice. The beach is just a shoreline, not the most picturesque or particularly well maintained. Can do much better in other areas of Croatia. The property is isolated. Some neglected lots are in the vicinity as well as some ugly, hopefully administrative buildings.Not much else to do nearby. Overall, I’d say it is a 3-4 star resort ( 3 for poor sleeping arrangements), overpriced for Croatia and service provided. Does not give you the flavor of that Country, nor is it the luxury resort it claims to be. Ok for a short conference if you don’t care about the location and don’t need the not bed sofa!

This is a very nice exclusive hotel. The half board is a great option. They even had an outdoor grill one night and it was just incredible. Typical Croatian food with grilled suckling pig, chevabchichi and also fish with all the sides. Very great place. Nice pools. Good beach. Full bar and a very healthy atmosphere and health conscious foods. Would definitely go back 5*

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll, bereits am Check In wird man herzlich begrüßt! Das Zimmer unheimlich geräumig und im Bad sogar mit Fußbodenheizung. Die Lage vom Hotel, sowie das Falkenstein Resort sind wunderbar. Am Pool und Strand findet man ausreichend Liegestühle. Wirklich fantastisch ist das Frühstück, lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen und ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Buffet am Abend kostet 55€/pro Person und die Getränke im Hotel erfüllen ein mittleres bis hohes Preisniveau. Late Check out wenn Verfügbar, gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr möglich. Ansonsten besteht die Option sein Gepäck zu deponieren und im Spa Bereich nochmal zu duschen. Fahrt von/bis Flughafen Zadar ca. 30-40min und Taxikosten liegen bei 48€ pro Strecke Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs und würde jeder Zeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

What a beautiful resort. Everything from check-in to checkout was amazing. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Pia, the receptionist and Jelena the waitress left a positive impression with us. The resort ground was impeccable and our room was excellent with uplifting and welcoming decorations. The beach was exactly what we were looking for with crystal clear water and plenty of shade under pine trees. The food was delicious as well. I do not understand the few negative reviews that have been left but assume that the beauty of this resort and its surrounding was simply not appreciated. I would definitely come back!
