There were things I noticed that made me question the cleaning standards of the location. I found an orange pill sitting on the bathroom floor, the room and bathroom smelt bad, and I killed two small roaches while I was there. Even the towel you set down on the floor to step out on after the shower looked dirty. It felt clean so I’m sure it was just badly stained, but still. I know there’s nothing you can really do regarding noise, but you could hear a damn pen drop two rooms down. I was woken up frequently in the night to NUMEROUS thuds and sudden noises. The positives were that the bed was clean and comfortable enough. I also liked that the room had a microwave and a fridge.

The room smelled like cigarettes and the water that came out the faucet for the hot tub was brown. We allowed the water to run for a good 15 minutes and it was still brown. So we didnt get to use the hot tub....thr whole reason i paid almost $200 for the room for the night was because it had a hot tub. I told management and his response was,"i dont know anything about that and theres nothing i can do about it."

The property was clean and the staff super friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for more. Our bathroom was updated but the area outside the hotel needs a MAJOR cleanup, and there is a smell inside the hallways that's a bit pungent. Several people had keys that did not work. Parking was good.

The first room they gave us was disgusting. There was trash on the beds, trash in the beds, trash on the floors and shower. Also, there was NO fire alarm hooked up in the ceiling. There was a place for one but it was not there. Unacceptable and I honestly cannot believe they let us even see that room. I went to the front desk because I wanted my money back. All they could do was give us another room because we booked from Hotels.com. So, we chose to look at another room. It was atleast clean. So, we stayed. The rest of the property looked run down. It was pretty sketchy surrounding it. Also, I went to get coffee in the morning. It was out and no one was around to ask for more. Needless to say, it was not a good experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid.

Room was neglected. Not the cleanest place I have stayed. I won’t say it was roach infested but did see several roaches. No coffee or breakfast. Probably spend the extra money for Comfort Inn next time.

Horrible dirty hotel with no elevator to the second floor. Dirty room, sheets, etc. Stains all over, people using drugs, other guests very scary, made us uncomfortable. Do not stay here.

Large room. Good TV once you figure out the remote. Good location. Dog friendly. Inside room with micro and frig. No breakfast. Coffee maker in room was missing a part and didn't work. Iron but no ironingboard. No hangers on rack. No place to hang clothing in bathroom. When we checked out at 5:30 am the night clerk was in her pajamas sleeping on a chair in the lobby. We told her we were leaving and left keycards on the counter, but did not get a receipt. Very unprofessional.

We arrived at the property at 3:30p.m. (Check-in time) and the room wasn’t ready. Okay that was fine because I had to pick up a rental. We arrived back at the room at 5:00p.m. The lady stated that the room was ready, when we arrived in the room it was half way ready. There wasn’t any towels or wash clothes. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned. There wasn’t any pillowcases on the pillows. The fridge was dirty with food still in it. This by far is the worst room that I have stayed in.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The sheets and towels were dirty, room smelled like mold, bathroom filthy. Came to Auburn for a football weekend and had no other options. The fact that this hotel is not required to meet any minimum health standards let alone charge $336 for the night is unconscionable. Do not stay!!

Dirty room, my feet turned black, there was flooring ripped up and 3 stink bugs in the room. Bathroom ceiling had brown stuff on it and th sink moved around the counter. The carpet portion was wet when we checked in a smelled like urine. Not fun to just wear shoes all the time. Hallways smelled like smoke and weed.I cleaned the room before we left.

Rooms were dirty, have not been swept nor mopped. There were crumbs and dead bugs in the corners of the room. Our bathtub was brown it was so dirty, pee all around the toilet. The outlet in the bathroom shocked me while curling my hair. Walls very thin we could hear our neighbors conversations. Stains on the bedding and pillows. Very dirty hotel, 0/10 would not recommend

First noticed smell of old long term tobacco in room in “ smoke free “ room . Carpet now almost black but started out dark brown with cigarette burns in it between the beds . Beds were twin mattresses on queen frames . Flooring with huge gaps between pieces filled with dirt and crap . Was going to put up with it until a flea jumped on me while laying on the bed . Had to cancel the whole weekend - just not clean or well kept . Obviously no investment by owners for long time . To credit of owner , when I placed the flea on the front desk they did not argue about a complete refund .

The first room I was given, the beds were not made up and looked like someone was already staying there. The second room had stains on the walls and floors and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. Trash on bathroom floors, and no toilet paper holder in site. Room smelt old and musky and most of the bulbs were broken. Party guests stayed up to 2:00 am in next door room, even after we notified the front desk. This room needs a great deal of improvement in order to make it to a 2 Star. Not a good experience.

The place needs a total remodel. The floor pieces in our room had huge gaps between them. The shower handle was falling off the wall. There was a big bug in the room. The pillows were lumpy. The whole hotel smelled musty. We got back to our hotel to pack up to check out and someone was in there cleaning two hours before checkout with all of our stuff in there.

Mattress was smaller than the bed frame, should have been two queen beds, mattress was a full size, not big enough for two adults to sleep in. Towels and wash clothes were stained and very dingy, some appeared to have not been washed at all. Shower curtain rod was rusty and taped together, tub floor was soft and felt like you were going to fall through. Overall smell of the hotel was very musty.

Our overall stay was good. The front desk girl was friendly. The hotel could use some updating. The room was clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the sprints and it was hard. The bed was made with all flat sheets, no fitted sheet. 2 of the towels in our room were very stained.

Room was OK floors were bubbled up in the bathroom and there wasn’t enough light in the bathroom. It was like a nightlight, but it wasn’t bad king size bed frame underneath was wobbly so every time you move into something felt like the bed was gonna fall.

I reserved this room as I always do.. days in advance and on my way to the hotel I received a call that they were sold out and I had no room. I told the lady that I had a reserved room with a confirmation number and she said that hotels.com shouldn’t have reserved the room to start with.

Lady at the front desk was overwhelmed by the day being the kick off of college football season and the large amount of check outs and the cleaning service being behind. She was extremely polite and tried to help everyone, while the other lady that was there was looking at laptop, and not trying to help at all

The first room I was given was occupied. Guy at desk was pleasant & gave me another room. The 2nd room had no washcloths coffeemaker had a layer of dust on it. The room was clean otherwise. The Carpet in the hallway was dirty & had not been cleaned in a while. I did not notice but my husband said the door to our room had been kicked in at one point. I had already scheduled a stay for next weekend but canceled & will be staying elsewhere.

No iron in room, phone did not work to call desk, 3 towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth in room & no replacements available. premium price paid for football game weekend & this was very disappointing. Smelled bad when entering side entrance. We will never stay here again & would not recommend.

It was difficult to find the actual entrance at night due to work barrels blocking the view of the drive. When we pulled in there were 2 people sitting at a table, 1 had her feet on top of the table. As I entered she loudly asked "You got a reservation? " I said yes. She paused from her phone conversation a moment and asks "Single room?" I replied "No a double". She then gets up to go to the counter continuing her phone call I don\'t think she even looked at my ID laying on the counter. She put the key on the counter. Still on her call. I asked her for the room number and which side it was on. She seemed to be bothered by the questions saying "Room ### and its on that side" and back to her conversation she went. As I left the gentleman at the table said have a nice stay. I don\'t even think he worked there. As for the room at least it was clean.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and service at this hotel. We visit the area often to our daughter who is a student at Auburn.we have passed this hotel up many times but nothing else was available- we will definitely stay again.
