First, I will start off by letting you know that you will get no help whatsoever bringing your luggage to the room. The hotel itself feels like a rat maze. They have a tiny elevator to bring up your luggage on your own and you have to go upstairs three times before you get to the elevator, which is tiny so only one person and their luggage fits. Getting to the room was another issue because each floor is like a rats maze and you can tell that the owners of this hotel don’t give a damn about the quality or the service that they are providing. The beds are all disgusting and stained mattresses, and the bed frames are falling apart this was a nightmare of a hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Location wise this hotel couldn't be better. Directly across the road from Rome Termini. However... our visit seemed to coincide with what felt like long over due renovations. Carpets being pulled up and laid, lots of dust and the smell of adhesive was over whelming. We seemed to be an inconvenience to the workers every time we came or left our room being told to stop and wait, eyes being rolled etc. The staff werent overly accommodating with feedback which was disappointing. We would not have booked here if we'd known renovations were taking place. Highly recommend paying for the breakfast, staff involved were lovely and the food was great. Our room was standard and had basic facilities. Stained furniture was off putting.

The Hotel is so convenient to Rome Termini station. We took the 30 minute Leonardo Express from the Airport for $14 and walked to the hotel which is quiet for how close it is to the Station. The staff were wonderful and you get a physical key that you leave wjth the Front Desk when you go out. The air conditioning is great and the superior room is very spacious.

This hotel was lovely - for being in the center of Rome, the room was much bigger than I expected. I was a bit frustrated by the steps - there were three large stairs to get inside and another to get to the elevators, which was very difficult given my large luggage. The front desk agents helped me inside but not to the elevators. Once I got to my floor, there was a set of heavy doors to open and very little space to move. I had to help two other guests get through them because the doors made it very hard to get inside with luggage, as they shut quickly, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage. Otherwise, it was a lovely place in a great location!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserves one. From the moment I arrived, it was one issue after another. There was water dripping from the ceiling, creating a constant mess and making the room feel unsafe and poorly maintained. The bathroom was just as bad—when you shower, the water goes everywhere because the setup is terrible. To make things worse, there were no basic toiletries like conditioner or body wash. For a hotel, that’s unacceptable. The safe box didn’t close or work at all, so storing valuables was impossible. The elevator was very old and barely functional, making me feel uneasy every time I used it. Overall, this was a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they address these serious issues.

Great location, opposite the Rome Termini train station. Breakfast, food can be better, location can be improved - too dark and furnitures old. AC in the room was very minimal, I have to open the window for air and open the cold shower for some mists to counter the humidity. Safety issue during the power outage which happens 2 days of 4 during my stay, morning to evening, no back up generators sufficient to cover basic safety protocols. There were no emergency lights on the stairs all floors and was so dark to navigate safely. Staff allowed the luggage’s to be in the lobby for incoming guests almost blocking front door which is another safety concern incase of emergencies. There needs to be a protocol for this.

So I've had a night and day relationship with this hotel. First stay, not good, stayed in room 650 and AC didn't work, wifi didn't work, fridge didn't really work, shower was always super hot, and there were ants. This stay, room 604, was wonderful, everything lacking in room 650 worked in room 604.

The big appeal to this hotel is its sterling location across the street from Roma Termini. I could go across the street, grab a croissant and coffee and be back in my room in under 10 minutes. The hotel is pretty decent, although it's hard to tell right now because the lobby is undergoing a renovation. The rooms are adequate, clean, everything worked, and the beds are comfortable. I wouldn't mind staying here again since the price is right.

Ponto forte do hotel é a localização. De frente a estação Termini, com restaurantes, farmácias, correio, bares, lojas de suvenirs, supermnecados, etc...Quarto grande, com vista para a rua. Elevadores velhos e pequenos. Chão do quarto muito frio,não há tapetes, não tem copo e tevevisão com poucos canais. Limpeza deixa a desejar. Apenas arrumam a cama e trocam toalhas. Chão nunca é limpo. Ficou muito sujo no segundo dia e nenhuma limpeza no chão. Cofre não seguro e não funcionava. Taxi dificil parar em frente ao hotel porque eles colocam motos e fica dificil para o taxi parar. Quartos com chave e não me senti seguro. Dava a impressão que qualquer um poderia entrar. Não é barato as diarias. Apesar de tudo isso, acho que voltaria a me hospedar nesse hotel pela localização privilegiada

To say I had a terrible time here for even a day is an understatement! The room itself was so disgusting. The shower didn’t work and was flooding I wasn’t able to take a shower I told the staff at the front desk and called and informed them about this (3 times) and they didn’t do anything about it. The ceilings had mold and the room stank and the walls were wet and we found cockroaches and ants in the room. The bed didn’t even have a comforter to sleep with. The windows didn’t even close or have a lock on them! This is outrages! I have all the pictures and evidence. I will never stay at this place again ! Horrible and disgusting!!! I can’t even believe I paid to stay here ! I would’ve had better luck staying in a motel! I will not recommend this place to anyone.

前に泊まった方の靴下が洗面所に落ちたままになっていた。掃除してないのか？ 3泊したので2泊目もそのままにしておいたが やはり靴下はそのまま。仕方ないのでゴミ箱に捨てました。それから1泊目は冷蔵庫にペットボトルの水が2本ありましたが、2泊目からはなし。 同じ代金を支払っているのになと思いました。駅近が唯一の利点でした。

The first room was smelly it actually was impossible to stay in the room. Clearly they had ventilaton and humidity problems. We got another one after showing them and letting them smell the room and then they admitted it was not usable. The next was ok but it had a malfunctioned tv and the phone in the room was out of order. It took 3.5 hours before they checked the tv and we had to remind them. The team in the reception showed little interest.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It's quite convenient being right across the street from the train station with all of its shops and restaurants. And when I want to catch a train, I don't have to worry about getting a taxi to the station. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had on ventilation so it smelled a little musty but overall I was satisfied. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Leonardo is a great staff member! Super friendly. Weird scents in the room that smells like sewage lots of little gnats, a.k.a. bugs no ventilation no windows. It felt like I was in a cruise ship extremely deceiving photographs from the actual listing.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. I was in a single room which didnt live up to the images on expedia. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was bigger than the room. There was constant noise coming from the lift. The room doesnt come with air conditioning as stated on the site. The shower unit flooded my first day. Was basically told I hadnt used the shower properly. I was on the 6th floor and it was undergoing extensive room renovations. The flooring of the hallways was covered in brown paper which made everyones footsteps noiser. Im disappointed that I wasnt made aware of the renovations prior to my stay as I would have changed hotel. Apart from that the location was great. Its 2 mins from the train station and metro.

Overall, the property was okay for a short stay. If I were in a pinch and needed a quick overnight stop, I’d consider staying again. However, I wouldn’t choose this hotel for multiple nights. We booked two rooms at different price levels and sizes, but both were surprisingly small, in comparison to the measurements given & associated photo. The larger room appeared to have had a door lock issue in the past, an interior bolt had been added, which made us question the door’s security. While the hotel did offer a complimentary bottle of water, ours was already opened upon arrival, which was disappointing. The most concerning aspect of our stay, though, was the hotel policy requiring guests to leave their room key at the front desk whenever leaving the property. This felt like a potential security risk and made us uncomfortable. That said, the hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and polite. If you're looking for a no-frills place to rest for one night, it could suffice, but for anything longer, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Located near the station, but has double windows that block all but the loudest of sirens. We had two rooms that were the same class but had different space and bathroom layouts. The rooms arent visually beautiful, but are functional and we'll priced.

Amazing location to commute anywhere from termini via bus or train. Even though was on Main Street the extra layer of double glazing meant the Troon was quiet. Nice room great price would highly recommend and stay again.

The staff was very helpful, efficient and professional. The hotel is very accommodating to the needs of it's guests. Breakfast was wonderful. Easy access to taxis and so convenient to be right across the street from the train station. Would definitely stay here again if we would have the opportunity.

Staff - treated very badly by Staff. The key for my door did not work so I went downstairs with all my luggage to ask for help. Was told to go upstairs and someone would come. Took all my luggage upstairs. Waited 15 minutes. No-one came. So I went downstairs with all my luggage again to ask for help again. Was told by the girls that they were too busy and I should just try "shaking it". Took all my luggage upstairs. I tried "shaking it". That did not work. I asked another guest to try. They could not get it to work. Tried again and it did. The room was terrible.

The first room was smelly it actually was impossible to stay in the room. Clearly they had ventilaton and humidity problems. We got another one after showing them and letting them smell the room and then they admitted it was not usable. The next was ok but it had a malfunctioned tv and the phone in the room was out of order. It took 3.5 hours before they checked the tv and we had to remind them. The team in the reception showed little interest.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It's quite convenient being right across the street from the train station with all of its shops and restaurants. And when I want to catch a train, I don't have to worry about getting a taxi to the station. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had on ventilation so it smelled a little musty but overall I was satisfied. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Prime location if you want to be near the train station. Many many restaurants to choose from within a few blocks. Staff were great with recommendations and tips. After dark it does get a little ‘rougher’ in the neighbourhood but that is mostly due to its prime location. Even though it was an extremely busy area, we slept with our windows open on the 6th floor and did not hear any traffic. Colosseum was a 30min walk and Trevi fountain was only 20 away.

The Hotel Madison in Rome is very convenient, located right across the street from Roma Termini, which made getting around the city super easy. hotel is a bit on the less luxurious side. the hotel is located right infront of the train station which is both a con and a plus due to the high volume of homeless walking around. The breakfast buffet could also use some work. Other than that my stay was okay nothing major but no major complaints either.

This hotel was not as appeared in photos on website. Terrible entrance to building, smd reception. Room was terribly hot. We were told to open our windows. It was very, very noisy. We didn’t sleep most of the night. Again, website and description was completely inaccurate. Very disappointing

There was no air conditioning on during my stay. They stated that the city hasn’t turn it on yet so guests have to stay in the rooms in such condition. I’ve never stayed in an hotel room where it’s hot and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
