Elevator to parking garage broken. Very inconvenient

Air was not working well

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with a private (independent) parking garage located directly under it. The rooms were clean & comfortable, and the breakfast was great. My *only* issue was that the A/C was not working for the whole building when we checked in. We had opted to pay at the property, and it was a really warm day…and the hotel rooms have full length glass windows with no ventilation…so the rooms were really, really hot. The woman checking us in did not say a word about it. Once we got to our rooms & realized how unbearable my mother’s room was, we called the front desk & were only told then that the AC was broken, and would not be fixed that night, and no refund was possible. Our room was on the other side of the building & was slightly cooler. We did ask that my mom be switched to an empty room on the other side of the building for the slight temperature advantage, and that was accommodated. Nevertheless, the person checking us in should have been upfront about the situation, because we would have switched to their sister hotel directly across the street. Taking our payment & then promptly refusing to refund, when you are aware that this was a problem does not reflect well on the hotel. Looking through reviews in this hotel, it looks like a repeat concern.

Acceso complicado por zona peatonal, lo mejor entrar en parking Índigo y acceder a pie con ascensor del parking andando.

we stayed at the hilton for 3 nights. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The big letdown was the air conditioning was broken for the hole stay. No open window in room. Slept terrible and would not be choosing a hilton hotel again.

Das Hotel ist an sich gut. Leider war unser Zimmer super warm im April und die Klimaanlage ging nicht. Dies schien bekannt zu sein und andere Gäste haben sich auch darüber beschwert. Wir haben dann einen Ventilator bekommen; der hat aber auch nicht wirklich geholfen. Frühstück war okay, man musste öfter auf Teller und Becher warten. Die Lage war gut.

The hotel is hot. My room got to 29c before they moved me across the street to hikton garden. No scrambled eggs available after tourist group cleaned it all out. I have had better stays at this location.

Hotel novo, quarto confortável, bom café da manhã, ótima localização. Equipe staff muito simpática e solícita. Ponto negativo: ar condicionado não estava funcionando e estava muito calor. As janelas do quarto não abriam, foi um pouco sufocante. Ficamos três dias e não consertaram.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Schönes und sauberes Zimmer mit Kaffee- und Teestation. Das Frühstücksangebot in der Lobby war vollkommen ausreichend mit Brot, Rührei, Obst, Joghurt, Säften, Waffeln etc. Parkmöglichkeiten in der öffentlichen Tiefgarage für 12,30 / Tag direkt am Hotel. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Empfehlenswertes und unkompliziertes Stadthotel. Gerne wieder!

Great location, right on the river and at the top of the main shopping street, close to the square with restaurants & bars and a short walk to the cathedral. Room was very modern, clean and comfortable as was the hotel. Beside a tram stop so convenient for the airport and exploring Tours

Toilette sales (voir photo) pour notre accueil, je n’ai jamais vu ça !!! Excuse donnée : « ça refoule dans les canalisations » … au 3ème étage ! Alors je leur laisse le bénéfice du doute, mais nous n’avons eu droit qu’à une excuse verbale, pas même une petite attention pour nous faire oublier ce désagrément… et ça affiche 4 étoiles…

Excellent séjour, literie confortable, chambre spacieuse

Great hotel, close to restaurants, cafes, sights and the team is on the doorstep. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with loads of options to choose from.

Confort literie irréprochable

Emplacement idéal, à proximité des principales attractions de Tours, ce qui est très pratique pour visiter la ville. Cependant, j'ai été un peu déçu par la chambre, qui n'avait pas de fenêtre, ce qui rendait l'espace assez étouffant. De plus, le petit déjeuner manquait de qualité, ce qui était dommage. Dans l'ensemble, un bon hôtel pour sa localisation, mais quelques améliorations à prévoir sur le confort des chambres et la qualité du petit déjeuner.

Je ne retournerai plus dans cet hôtel, aucune fenêtre ouvrante dans toutes les chambres et aucun extérieur. De plus le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur du nombre d’étoiles de l’établissement.

L'hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre névralgique de Tours, la chambre était spacieuse et confortable et le petit déjeuner royal d'autant qu'il était déjà compris dans le prix de la chambre. Par contre, à son arrivée,ce n'est pas possible de faire signer à l'hôte une autorisation pour que Hampton prélève sur sa carte de crédit les frais de taxes de séjour et le prix de la chambre lorsque celui-ci a déjà tout acquitté. Ce formulaire n'est pas adapté lorsque le client réserve par une plateforme.A revoir ce point...

Pas de parking, pas possible ouvrir les fenêtres, la chambre trop petite, petit-déjeuner est dans l’hall de réception.

The hotel was right across from the Tram. 5 minute walk into town. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

They charged my credıt card for the whole stay amount even though I paıd fully for the stay ahead of tıme through Expedıa. As soon as the front offıce personel charged my card, I ınformed her that this ıs a mıstake and she should return the amount. She saıd she cannot do ıt. Instead, she said they will return the money to my bank account. I told her that this method will involve bank charges. She told me that they will also pay those charges as soon as I told them about the bank charge. After one month I received the amount minus the bank charges. When I informed them about the bank charge, they said they cannot compensate me. I contacted the expedia help line, they said they will call the hotel. opppppppppppA few days later, the manager Soraya sent me the following message: " Please accept our sincere apologies for the mistaken charge to your credit card and the confusion caused during the refund process. We fully understand your frustration, and we truly regret the inconvenience this has caused. The refund of 383€ was processed via international bank transfer, as this is the only refund method available at our property. Unfortunately, any transfer fees applied by your bank are beyond our control, and we are unable to reimburse those charges. We also regret that incorrect information was initially given to you regarding the refund of potential bank fees."

Staff were helpful

Hotel confortable, personnel en dessous de tout, porte de l'hôtel bloquee le soir, impossible d'ouvrir avec la carte de notre chalbre, personne a la réception, attente 10 bonnes minutes Pdj = bagdad salle dans le hall de reception, buffet et salle pas adaotes à la taille de l'hôtel. Le salé completement vide, plus de couverts, tous les saladiers vides, bref pour 130euros la nuit c'est inadmissible.

The staff was super helpful upon check in and friendly. Offers to go next door to their sister hotel to use their larger fitness center and laundry was much appreciated as this hotel has no laundry and a tiny gym. Included breakfast has all the basic usuals, decent. Service was excellent- good suggestions, quick responses and positive. Great location. I suggest getting a room with a view the alternative is looking at a gravel pit.

Modern hotel with a great location

The hotel was right across from the Tram. 5 minute walk into town. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. Nice selection of food for breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice location in the middle of Tours, next to the main shopping street and the old town. Other attractions, like the cathedral, are in walking distance. Note: You can't stop in front of the hotel to unload. There is a parking facility next to the hotel but is not part of the hotel.

New hotel near Loire river. Walk to riverside bar area at night. Laundromat just one street away. Tram stops at the side door. Easy access to touristy places. Bar in lobby. Friendly folks.

This property is adjacent to the large pedestrian street that the tram runs along. There are a lot of shops and brasseries. The hotel itself doesn't have parking but there is a public parking garage right in front of it that can accommodate your car overnight for about 12euro. It is not far from the old town and everything is very walkable. The only negative I would say is that the hallways seemed to have had the smell of the burger restaurant which is adjacent/under the hotel. Grateful that the smell stayed in the hall and didn't permeate the room. Overall we would stay here again.

Hotel muito bem localizado, da pra ir a qualquer lugar da cidade à pé (restaurantes, lojas, pubs e cafés), tem um estacionamento publico bem na frente do hotel, excelente café da manhã, hotel muito novo, limpo e confortável. De carro é possivel chegar rapidamente aos castelos da região.

O hotel é muito confortável, muito bem localizado, café da manhã excelente! Gostamos muito! Apenas achei ruim não ter frigobar no quarto.

Chambre très bien, confortable, bien équipée. Personnel aimable. En revanche il y a une odeur nauséabonde dans le hall d entrée et le petit déjeuner est mal géré - dès qu il y a plus de 5 personnes c est la cohue, seulement deux machines à café dont une en panne, et on mange au milieu d un lieu de passage. Peu agréable.

Hôtel bien placée et près du vieux Tours. Stationnement payant Indigo près de l'hôtel. Nourriture correcte mais il manquait toujours quelque chose.

A typical Hampton except it's dreadful in three ways. First there are no lighted signs on the building which in all respects like a modern office block. We arrived after dark and couldn't find it easily. Second, only available parking is in an underground paid public garage 300 yards away. Third, the included breakfast was awful. Most items seemed like they were reused for days.

Hotel et chambre propre et confortable. Cependant point d’insatisfaction sur le petit déjeuner: Pas assez de place pour s’installer au vue de l’affluence, deux machines à café à disposition dont 1 hors service et la seconde qui fonctionne une fois sur 2. Dommage, c’est le dernier point que je retiens de mon séjour.
