From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff and service was superb, they were helpful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The hotel is a fantastic building, with nods to the train station throughout the decor. The room was fantastic, with every comfort catered for. It was very quiet, despite being attached to the train station (we had a river view room). There is a concierge service to park your car in a nearby garage at the cruise ship dock, for a very reasonable daily fee. 23 didn’t take the breakfast so can’t comment on the food. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is lovely. The train station in the building was extremely convenient for travel and coffee! The only downside was the very limited menu in the dining room. Drinks were good but only 2-3 entree choices were disappointing. We ate elsewhere every night. Prices in the dining room were as high as LA dispelling everything we heard about lower prices in Portugal.

The room is spacious and allowed plenty of natural light, even during our rainy stay. The check in went smoothly and the staff gave us an intro to various neighborhoods in town. The gym had barely anyone there, high end cardie equipment (I used the inclined treadmill), and clean towels.

There are no facilities except for an OK bar. The room wasn't ready when we arrived. The fridge had not been cleared and there was no bottle opener for the very average free wine. The surrounding area is a building site.

5 night stay for business, clean and comfortable hotel, very good breakfast, small but usable gym. Walkable to town and cheap parking opposite at 8€ per night. Connected to the train station, so some rooms a little noisy unless you get a riverside room and a few strange characters about, like most stations. Overall a good stay, good service in a convenient area. I would use again if in the area.

This is a great hotel and it is very, very quiet. Despite the train station being right below, with the window closed, you can't hear a thing on the street as they invested in modern windows. It's walkable to all the historic sights downtown within 8-10 minutes and it has a great gym too. Would definitely recommend.

The room was absolutely disgusting and not what was advertised. The shower was filled with black mold, had a strong odor, the floor was filthy and the bathroom glass door was broken. The manager was rude, unprofessional and seemed to not care that his rooms were in that condition.

Mycket fint hotell med bra läge. Frukost och bar bra. Städningen underkänt, halvfulla kaffekoppar lämnades kvar och efter 3 dagar såg det rätt tråkigt ut. Ingen påfyllning av kaffe, fick påpeka det varje dag.

This hotel was gorgeous. Had an absolutley fabulous stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable with some nice little touches. They were cleaned to a high standard everyday and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Lisbon. Great location as well, right next to Santa Apolonia metro station which makes it super easy to get about Lisbon.

Interesting place attached to the Santa Apolonia train station which was very convenient for us. My review is based on how much we paid. For the high price of almost $500 per night, it wasn’t very good. It was on the dirty side. A whole bunch of minor things like empty soap dispensers, empty tissue boxes and untucked bed sheets showing the mattress and more. If this was half the price, it would get a higher rating.

Only stayed for a couple of days so we made it work, but had we stayed longer (like a week) we would not have had enough room for all of our clothes and other things. General cleanliness of the room could have been better (carpets were stained/dirty and the bathroom/shower had dirt or mold present). The view was nice but blocked a lot of the time due to the cruise ships coming in and out every day or so. The elevator was a nice plus and the hotel was quiet with nice staff. It worked for our short trip, but we probably would not return to this location if we were to visit Lisbon again.

The staff was fantastic and the location was good, with a really interesting space. I recognize that space is at a far higher premium in historic buildings, but whoever designed the layout of the room made some very impractical choices. Hotel was nice and clean but the rooms are tiny and the shower was not good, barely a trickle of water. If you are staying on a sat night, expect to get woken up by the god awful church bells across the road that go on forever.

Lovely hotel on top of an active train station (great for getting around, not for very light sleepers). We stayed in a Riverside, balcony room on the first floor and it was worth it. The view from the riverside is lovely, and the balcony made the otherwise pretty small room feel much more spacious. We had drinks and food in the restaurant and it was lovely, with the staff being courteous and friendly. The location is slightly outside of the action, but an easy walk, train or bus to anywhere you could want to go. I would stay again.

Lage, wenn man riverside-zimmer gebucht, ist sehr laur. Unmöglich bei gekipptem Fenster zu schlafen. Badezimmer ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstückssituation ist eine Katastrophe - man muss sich in einem "5-Sterne-Hotel" selbst um Besteck, Tassen und Servietten kümmern. Nur für Reisegruppen war eingedeckt, dies änderte sich auch nicht trotz Beschwerde vor Ort. Personal ist zwar freundlich, aber total überfordert. Auswahl am Buffet war auch nicht prickelnd, aber vielleicht rechtfertig der Sekt am Buffet die Sterne.

Nice hotel, but not a 5 star hotel. Equivalent to an average 4 star hotel in US with small rooms. Balconies have no seating, really just a window that opens. Breakfast good and rooms very clean. Location is good with a lot pretty nearby.

The hotel and room are great — very clean and functional. The staff are always smiling and attentive to your needs. The location is OK, nothing more. We paid extra for a room with tall glass doors instead of a window, which was a major disappointment. The photos on the booking app don't show that these tall glass doors open onto a busy street. There are four or five lanes of traffic, including trucks and buses, driving constantly. It's really noisy and dusty - You can't enjoy this feature of the room at all. The train station passes through the building, which woke us up a few times during our stay. We ate at the hotel restaurant once. I had a hamburger which wasn’t good and didn’t taste like a burger; it tasted like bad frozen meat. I didn’t make a fuss about it, though, because the staff were so kind. The dining room itself is very nice though, and it's great to have a drink and hang out there if you don't want to leave the hotel. There were always lots of people enjoying a drink and chatting to the staff, which created more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant one. This was our second time in Lisbon. Overall, our experience at this hotel was OK to good, but Lisbon offers much better stays for the same or less money. I will not book there again.

Nice modern rooms but on the smaller side. This is above a train station so if your on the side of the station with a window you can hear announcements and feel the train entering the station. The train ans announcement did stop at night and I was up by 6 anyway so it was workable but if you’re a late riser… If your on the other end of the station some guest said they didnt hear a thing.

The most credit goes to the very friendly and attentive staff. We requested to be moved to a two separate beds room as I had mistakenly booked a room with a single bed. They made that happen the very next day! The valet parking was so convenient and they always brought the car around at the time I would request them to. They made eveything so easy, The hotel's location was fantastic. Walkable from so many spots we wanted to visit and was also right above a subway line. The building has so much character as it is a converted old train station with still the same charm. The only thing I would like to add as hopefully a constructive feedback is to have more shelf space in the shower area for toileteries. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel in a heartbeat,
The most credit goes to the very friendly and attentive staff. We requested to be moved to a two separate beds room as I had mistakenly booked a room with a single bed. They made that happen the very next day! The valet parking was so convenient and they always brought the car around at the time I would request them to. They made eveything so easy, The hotel's location was fantastic. Walkable from so many spots we wanted to visit and was also right above a subway line. The building has so much character as it is a converted old train station with still the same charm. The only thing I would like to add as hopefully a constructive feedback is to have more shelf space in the shower area for toileteries. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel in a heartbeat,

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff and service was superb, they were helpful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The hotel is a fantastic building, with nods to the train station throughout the decor. The room was fantastic, with every comfort catered for. It was very quiet, despite being attached to the train station (we had a river view room). There is a concierge service to park your car in a nearby garage at the cruise ship dock, for a very reasonable daily fee. 23 didn’t take the breakfast so can’t comment on the food. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall good hotel. Location is good to walk to restaurants and waterfront. Nicely greeted and asked if we needed assistance. We had an issue with the water pressure and 1st day there was no water in the morning. Also the hotel is an old train station and you will hear trains come in and leave. During our last night, we were woken up at 3am by extremely noisy next door. I had to make a call to front desk to inform of the conversations. Unfortunately they continued longer, and we did not sleep. Next morning the Mgr was not available to speak and we needed to depart to the airport. I will not be returning to the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. Check in was a painfully slow process, although all staff members were very friendly. The rest room could have been cleaner, the bathroom sink didn’t drain and didn’t have hot water. Although leaky, the shower was amazing, but there were no wash cloths in the room. Lighting was poor and it was difficult to see while getting ready, there was also a door stop in the middle of the floor that we kept stubbing our toes on. Other than that the room was very comfortable. When I checked out I was asked to pay separately for the incidentals I had charged to my room - weird. Housekeeping did not replenish the in-room coffee as they were meant to but the complimentary in-room water and juice was a nice touch.

At the edge of Alfama, so not central to old Lisbon, but right above the train and metro stations, so a quick 3-stop metro to the start of the ave de Liberdade. We took the train in from Porto the day before our flight out of Lisbon, was a perfect call in that scenario as we stepped off the train and were at the hotel.

This hotel is not in a great location if you are touring Lisbon. the hotel shares a building with one of the main train stations in Lisbon so if you are in transit I can see this being a good location - but if you stay here you re 2 miles from the heart of the city and if you want to walk there are some steep hills between you and where you may want to visit. The breakfast was average at best - I have seen many better breakfasts but it was convenient to have it there. One of the elevators was broken while I was there - not a problem as I never had to wait for an elevator. There is no real lobby where you can invite people over and meet and talk which I found odd for a place with so many rooms. What I did like was the very large size of my room which was a jr suite - plenty of space but the bathroom was quite tiny.

The best thing was the sound proofing: you could not hear the trains that depart from the same building, and the metro was a small vibration, sorry quiet under the building. That made getting around Lisbon super convenient. It's only a few minutes walk to the Alfama neighborhood, and a twenty minute walk to the main tourist/doing area downtown. We only stayed one night, so did not try the restaurant.

We loved the historical details inside the hotel. We selected this hotel due to its location next to the train station as our fist night in Lisbon and we took the morning train to Porto next day. It is very convenient. There is a cafe next door that you can grab a quick breakfast before heading into the train station.

The hotel is really interesting and has a unique look as it is located in the building of the train station. The rooms are cosy, but have all the essentials. The restaurant is fantastic, so I’d definitely recommend opting in for breakfast, as well as having a dinner there at least once during your stay. I didn’t like much the surrounding area, especially there being tents of protesters next to the hotel, but I didn’t walk around much in that area in any case. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

The hotel is lovely. The train station in the building was extremely convenient for travel and coffee! The only downside was the very limited menu in the dining room. Drinks were good but only 2-3 entree choices were disappointing. We ate elsewhere every night. Prices in the dining room were as high as LA dispelling everything we heard about lower prices in Portugal.

The hotel and room are great — very clean and functional. The staff are always smiling and attentive to your needs. The location is OK, nothing more. We paid extra for a room with tall glass doors instead of a window, which was a major disappointment. The photos on the booking app don't show that these tall glass doors open onto a busy street. There are four or five lanes of traffic, including trucks and buses, driving constantly. It's really noisy and dusty - You can't enjoy this feature of the room at all. The train station passes through the building, which woke us up a few times during our stay. We ate at the hotel restaurant once. I had a hamburger which wasn’t good and didn’t taste like a burger; it tasted like bad frozen meat. I didn’t make a fuss about it, though, because the staff were so kind. The dining room itself is very nice though, and it's great to have a drink and hang out there if you don't want to leave the hotel. There were always lots of people enjoying a drink and chatting to the staff, which created more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant one. This was our second time in Lisbon. Overall, our experience at this hotel was OK to good, but Lisbon offers much better stays for the same or less money. I will not book there again.
