Very service oriented and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Our room was on the top floor (attic with stairs converted to room space) with vaulted ceilings and wood floors with city and water view, large, with a sitting area, modern and clean, large bathroom. The hotel and rooms has a very "hip and retro" vibe to it, old building with antique and modern decorations, very boheme feeling which matches the city of Lisbon. It\'s not your typical hotel where you would go to stay if it was a business trip. My wife and I liked it but I can understand some people might not since it has a hostel vibe to it with open lobby floor space. The hotel side entrance is shared with the rest of the building. The building is not all one hotel property, floors 2 thru 6 are the hotel which has the advantage of being quiet. To gain access to the building they buz you in (24hrs) or with your room key which takes you to your room floor or if you choose to go to the reception (at floor 2), a lobby, small bar and tables for breakfast, 24 hrs. coffee or tee. This is all one open space floor area (common area which gives the hostel vibe). I could easily stay there again, I liked it.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Room was comfortable. The main entrance is located between 2 shoe stores. Upon entering you will take the elevator to the 3rd floor where reception is located (As well as the breakfast buffet). Highly recommended

Incredibly helpful staff, great location. Lovely beds and funky retro decor. Very good breakfast selection. Elevator was out of service for our entire 4 day stay but the 4 levels of stairs was fine exercise.

A lovely, clean and quirky hotel, centrally located and within a 30 minute Metro journey from the Airport. The breakfasts were fresh and plentiful and the lovely dining/reception area is open all day for guests to enjoy complementary coffee/tea and snacks. Rooms are on the higher floors, away from the noise of the street and are fully air-conditioned. The staff are very friendly and approachable and speak several languages - very impressive!

Unusual hotel. Entrance on the street via a buzzer then lift to reception on the 3rd floor. Staff very friendly& helpful. Room was spacious & very clean. Breakfast excellent with eggs cooked to order. Really handy for all public transport and easy journey to and from the airport.

Guesthouse très bien situé dans un vieille édifice, autobus, métro, . Déco jolie et épurée. Très propre . Facilement accessible. Situé au-dessus d'un immense magasin de soulier. A savoir, les espaces communs un peu exigu et petit bar dissimulé derrière un paravent Bon petit déjeuner avec une petite suggestion, il manque un réchaud pour les pâtisseries et quiches qui sont servis froide .

Great location in the heart of Lisbon, but wasn't expecting our room to be stairs access only from the 5th to the 6th floor, making it difficult to get luggage upstairs through a narrow staircae. I understand the building is old, but that should be explicitly mentioned somewhere if your room happens to be assigned to the sixth floor.

Pros: Wonderful location - very central with easy access to trains, metros and trams. Very friendly staff, continental breakfast. Comfortable bed. Cons: Squeaky, central lift with stairs running around the outside of lift shaft meaning that there is no noise break or fire door between the floor such that internal noise was a problem- squeaky lift, doors closing etc. Otherwise, lovely, quirky place.

Great location, walking distance to lots places Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Too bad there is no laundry machines on the site, the closest laundromat costs a lot, it costed me 8.5 euros to wash a small load and 5.5 euros to dry the load and couldn’t get totally dried.

Muy céntrico y bien ubicado. Las habitaciones muy limpias y el personal muy amable. El Buffet del desayuno con mucha variedad. Aire acondicionado en las habitaciones ( aunque no hizo falta ultilizarlo) en recepción te explican muy bien con un mapa que te dan los principales sitios que visitar. Si se viaja en coche hay un parking a 5 minutos andando a 24€ las 24horas. Situado cerca del metro y transporte punible o en general. Restaurantes por la zona abundantes. Viaje de familia de 4. Lo recomendamos.

The room was way smaller than shown in the pictures. It was dificult to find the hotel entrance as the entrance is between a shoe store. When walking into the room, the smell of clorox was heavy. The worst part was finding bugs in the room. Definetly not a great experience.

We loved our stay. Our checkin was smooth and the staff was excellent and so welcoming. We were a family of 4 and had 2 rooms. One junior suite and one room on the 5th floor and the rooms were so lovely and everyday we came back to a clean room. The breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect and everything is walkable. We did Sintra on our own and walked to the station and caught the train to Sintra.

Service was impeccable from check-in to check-out, all staff were professional, attentive and very courteous. And the room was pristine, and very spacious. Clean and spacious rooms but seemed to be short and a lot of amenities (eg toothpaste, toothbrush etc.). Also there was a water leak in my room from the ceiling in the middle of the night during a storm. The breakfast was the highlight complimented with very kind and friendly staff.

Fantastic location a few steps from subway and all the other transport you need. Intimate hotel with HUGE rooms and a delicious breakfast. Linens were great, black out shutters worked perfectly and our hosts were helpful w everything needed. Bathroom tiny but had everything and was clean. So quiet - can’t believe we were in middle of city! Amazing stay. Thank you!

All I wanted was a cool room with good TV to crash in before I flew home. This was not the hotel for that. No air on an 85 degree day (it had been switched over for the season), 3 channels of TV, all of which were news, and a hard bed. On the bright side, the staff were very nice and France has an absolutely amazing English language news station. Lesson learned: Know your needs and check in advance . If you're temperature sensitive make sure you're renting a hotel that has air conditioning capabilities year around. Summary: Great location, super nice staff, but not a place for rest or luxury.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful with maps and directions. Larger rooms than others in the area. The group of boutique hotels also has their own farm, so farm fresh eggs were a treat after pasteries for breakfast elsewhere. (They have those too). I had read about the "weird" entrance through a shoe store, but this was very easy and accessible. While not as grand as the lobby of some hotels, it felt like family and very good value for money.

This boutique style hotel worked out perfectly for us. The location gave easy access to all the tourist spots and many restaurants. It was also close to the outdoor food market that was lots of fun. The staff was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for dinner and getting around. They arranged for our very early 4:00am taxi to the airport and it worked out perfectly. All in all, we'd stay here again.

We had great experience of staying there. The breakfast options were excellent with many fine pastries, cheeses, bacon, sausages, made to order eggs, and fresh fruits. The staff were super nice and helpful. The only minor issues were that we could hear noise from the street at night, and there were squeaky patches of hardwood floors.
