Bosenkan

Large outdoor area of onsen pools with 4 lie-flat onsen beds. This hotel is well located with large parking lot. The room is spacious with suite and view of river and Gero. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and healthy. The hot spring is known for restorative and you can feel the difference why Gero is ranked number 2 of the 100 best hot springs in Japan. The hotel's location and quality of onsen is hard to beat. Room is spacious for 4 of us . We stayed for 2days. Breakfast and hida dinner were very good especially on the 2nd day. Indoor and outdoor Onsen are good. However number of hair dryers apparently are insufficient and many guests were waiting for a while.

Clean and comfortable

The property itself is so beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were as described and actually quite large. We really enjoyed the balcony. Note all rooms are smoking but as a non smoker it did not really bother me after they they used the spray.
