La vue est sublime et la chambre aussi. Néanmoins, le lavabo de notre salle de bain était bouché et de l'eau stagnait c'était répugant.... De plus, la piscine intérieure était extrêmement sale et les murs comportaient des champignons ! Pour un 4 étoiles c'est vraiment décevant...

Roof top bar not open a long walk to get a cold drink around the pool lack of staff visabilty .Beautiful hotel and veiws

The staff are diligent and caring, the hotel decor stylish, comfortable and luxuriant. It seems every view has a view of the river, and so sunsets are just incredible, but even sunrise presents a new set of colours every day. The spa provided a great service, too.

Really nice pool area overlooking the river. Not much within walking distance, but Ubers were quick and cheap. Nice service around the pool, although a little slow at times, made up for by the friendly staff. Good breakfast options and a wonderful seating area hovering over the edge of the river. Gym was small, but some free weights and modern cable machine.

The room was simply beautiful and the views from the balcony were absolutely fabulous. The hotel boasted fantastic amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, a games room, and a gym that were all well-maintained and enjoyable to use. While this may require additional transportation costs to reach the heart of Porto, the upside is the serene and peaceful environment the hotel offers. It was a delight to come back to a quiet place after a day of exploring the city, where one could relax on the balcony and admire the twinkling lights of Porto and the river. However, there were some downsides to consider. One notable point was the limited dining options due to the hotel's location. The buffet dinner priced at €35 per person seemed steep compared to the value it offered. Additionally, the absence of a stocked mini bar with complimentary water or other beverages was a disappointment. Although the toiletries provided were of good quality, the absence of hair conditioner was a let-down. It would be beneficial for the hotel to consider adding this item to enhance guests' experience. In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel if you seek a peaceful retreat away from the bustling city center of Porto.

Hotel muito agradável localizado numa zona tranquila nas margens do rio Douro. Destaco o bom serviço prestado tanto pela equipa da recepção, do bar e do pequeno almoço, Muito profissionalismo e simpatia de uma equipa jovem e competente. Quartos algo pequenos, mas limpos e confortáveis. Como aspetos negativos destaco o espaço, a dimensão e localização da piscina interior. Não tem banho turco nem sauna. O ginásio é interessante, mas é pequeno e tem poucos aparelhos para a dimensão geral do hotel. No geral, o hotel oferece bom serviço e é confortável para pequenas estadias.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft - viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Die Speiseauswahl am Pool und etwas Abwechslung beim Frühstück, vor allem beim vegetarischen Angebot, wären eventuell noch verbesserungsfähig

Overall the experience is good, but no iron board and iron box in the room, sometimes the bathroom smelling bad .

Very nice, clean hotel with amazing view of the river. Great beds and super interior design of the rooms. The breakfast was nice and varied and I really appreciated the complimentary class of Port wine the day of arrival. Thank you!

A piscina coberta é quentinha, quarto confortável e café da manhã delicioso. Está há poucos minutos do centro do Porto de carro e de frente ao Douro. Se no inverno amamos imagina no verão?

This is a lovely quiet little hotel on the River Douro. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel restaurant is incredible, both for the breakfast buffet and the dinner options. The rooms are not large, but the balconies open up the rooms quite a bit. The rates were excellent. My only real complaint is that it is not with walking distance of anything, and guests will need to use a taxi or car service to get into Porto proper.

Vi hadde ett fantastisk opphold denne uken, vi hadde med balkong ut mot sjøen og hadde rom 243, nydelig rom. Harde senger (vi er forskjellige og noen liker harde senger, men vi liker myke) derfor la bi en ekstra dyne som lå i skapet under lakenet, det hjalp litt. Vi merker hotellet mangler litt erfaring på service til de ansatte, ikke alltid du blir like godt «sett», vi driver selv i service bransjen og vet hvor viktig det er å bli sett. Vi vet de jobber med dette etter en svært hyggelig samtale med en overleder, så dette jobbes med. Så er sikker på dette går seg til. Frokosten var god, lunsjen fra ala carte var kjempe god. Buffen på kvelden fikk ikke så gode score av oss. Renhold tipp/topp, elsker når det er morgenkåpe/tøfler på rommene. Vi brukte uber hver dag til sentrum, kostet alt i fra 3-6 euro en vei. Var nede på noen minutter. 2 dager gikk vi ned langs elva, brukte akkurat 35 min til Luis bridge som er i sentrum. Hver morgen gikk vi en 30 min gåtur langs elva for trimmen sin skyld, nydelige omgivelser😀 Anbefaler å bruke Uber til flyplassen også, koster 15 euro istedenfor 31 euro med taxi. Vi forhåndsbestilte den til kl.08:00 til den dagen vi skulle reise, var litt spent for vi har aldri brukt forhåndsbestilt Uber før, og kl.08:00 var den der. Vi hadde valgt å bo her igjen, for hotellet er helt fantastisk 😀

Beds were brutal. Need to be replaced. Hard and decided. Worse sleep in 20 yrs.

The property was lovely and the room had a great view of the river. However, the hotel was so preoccupied with conserving energy that we were not really in control of the room's temperature. The AC would not go below a certain temp setting (and the weather was warm) and it went off altogether every time we stepped out on the terrace. We will not stay there again.

Rooms are small. The experience was not the best, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et disponible. On sent une vraie attention portée au bien-être des clients. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner : un superbe buffet varié et généreux, servi dans une salle avec vue panoramique sur le fleuve. La meilleure façon de commencer la journée à Porto ! Großes Hotel ca. 10 Autominuten von Porto entfernt. Mit Uber kommt man immer schnell in Centrum ( ca. 7€-10€) . Wir hatten ein großes ruhiges Zimmer mit toller Aussicht direkt am Fluss. Das Personal war freundlich aber im Restaurant beim Frühstück überfordert. Beim Frühstück war Hochbetrieb, leider fehlte hier jegliches Flair. Die Speisekarte an der Poolbar war sehr übersichtlich , hier stimmte auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Der Gesamteindruck entspricht nicht einem 5 Sterne Standard.

Beautiful view of the river, but no amenities nearby. Check in and front office staff less than desirable. Food service was good. Stunning bar to have an evening drink.

The hotel it self was great however the service and meal in the restaurant was excellent the first night, however on the second day breakfast was ok dinner on the other hand was awful between badly behaving chid and poor service ( ordered drinks which we had to flag down the hostess for after waiting patiently for 20 minutes, and then having the meal served after which the drinks finally came. My wife's fish was over cooked as was my pork tenderloin, could not catch anyone's eye so we left. We eat breakfast in the morning and eat elsewhere for our last day. Would not recommend to our friends to eat there.

Very very nice property - a short Uber from the Ribeira area, and totally walkable in 1/2 hour or so if you need to stretch your legs. Superb staff at reception, in the restaurant, and bellman. Very good value for money, especially in November.

We arrived at 3:00pm which is the agreed check in time. Only to be told that a guest had been ill in the room and that the room wasn’t ready. We were offered a downgrade or somewhere to wait in the meanwhile. While we waited around the pool for a number of hours it because apparent that a number of guest had been told the same “story”. Our room was finally available to access at 7:00pm. No offer of compensation, curtesy drinks… nothing! I was staying at the hotel with my dad, spending some quality time together since I lost my mother, his wife of over 40 years just a few months prior. So to say it’s left me feeling disappointed is an understatement. Sad really because the location, room and some of the staff were amazing. I’d guess the management a probably running the hotel short staffed.

This hotel is a renovated perfume factory, very cute with good access by car to main attractions Porto (or a 55 minute stroll).

Really great. Staff is nice. Rooms have drinks. Breakfast is free. The lunch and dinner is not my favourite. Better to go outside for that. The rooftop pool is amazing barely anyone there too. You do have to take Uber to get into the city, but only cost around five euros.
