The staff was very nice. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The restaurant at the hotel had a good vibe and some good breakfast and dinner choices. The pool was a bit shallow(1.2 or 1.4m) for my liking. It is about 5 min walk from Sandton shopping mall and we felt fairly safe to walk there during the day.

I came with my kids, they were very happy. We will come back, i will be a regular more especially the Jacuzzi and the Pool restuarant, the Pool bar eish it was out of this world. I give it a thumbs up.

The location is very good and the fact that they have a 24 hour restaurant and room service is brilliant. The food is amazing! However, 2 things: The staff make noise in the morning when they are cleaning. The 2nd thing is on one of the days we left our safe open and some of our cash was stolen. We reported this and the desk staff were quick to be defensive without helping us, they did not even suggest to get the police involved. Mint should really improve on this

Overall a pleasant stay, accommodation is good. Paid for a minibar but this was not provided. Tried to charge additional charges with no explanation on checkout which ruined the stay for us. Pool bar was never open which was unfortunate. Breakfast was good

The best thing here is Pablo. The restaurant is really super. The brunch was marvelous; the best breakfast I've had in about a year. The first room was unpleasant; it smelled of paint; there was no desk; and there was a noisy plumbing sound every few minutes. I asked for and received a better quieter room. It had a desk, which was better. But the hotel is very noisy (a bit like a club), so not great to work. the gym needs serious maintenance.

Most of the staff was courteous. Interacted with some not so friendly. Dining staff was very nice and courteous. My experience was a terrible one. To start off, the sink and toilet did not drain properly. Maintenance fit the situation promptly. The entire restroom including walls, floors, ceiling had a serious moisture problem. Everything l had in the restroom had to be dried everyday. Cleanliness of the room was fair. Had to call for towels after the room was cleaned. Did not have adequate amount of towels in room. The ones we had was used to cut down on the moisture throughout the room.With all do respect, l was highly disappointed with my stay.

Well located, however very noisy hotel. Rooms are in hostel type blocks and walls are either super thin or badly isolated for sound. Both nights we stayed there, people were shouting into the night. On the plus side, breakfast was good. Wifi also works well.

Management was unprofessional. When I booked into my room I wasn’t informed of any construction going on. They moved my room twice and also into a smaller room than I originally paid for. I was told I could move back to my original room in a couple days as I was staying @ the Mint for 2 weeks. I was never followed up with. My husband and I were not satisfied with staffing and the way this situation was handled. And beware of PABLOS restaurant attached to the hotel, food and service is 1/10

The staff is amazing. Everything is very clean and easy. Except for the breakfast. The said it was included and they charged me separately. There’s nno buffet, you have to order from the menu and it’s not really cheap.

I loved the hotel in all aspects. Location is great and the staff was wonderfull. The food in the restaurant was great. The room was large and facing a courtyard with a fountain. Lots of light. What not to like
