Motel 6 Jeffersonville, IN

Refrigerator was too small, small freezer froze up.

The room I booked was with refrigerator and microwave and when I checked in the room both were not their. Cleanliness was also not their lot of dust in the furniture.

The inside of the room is very clean, but over the course of my stay garbage continued to pile up outside of my room from other guest. Apparently nobody uses the trashcan, which is empty because I took off the lid to put my garbage in it to find a clean empty bag, but that being said The property owners never came to take this trash out over her period of three days. Despite the fact there’s snow, that’s no excuse there were animals getting into it straining Pizza and everything all over the place but the worst part is probably that glass broke from an upstairs window down into the snow and you could not see it. I took photos of it and they never cleaned it up a dog a child or anything could walk through that and get injured to top it off. I was 30 minutes late on a late checkout And they charged me $15 after having charged me extra as well on two additional nights when I’m an AARP member and they couldn’t figure out how to ring that up so they made me cancel my reservation that was for $50 a night and charged me 69 their moneygrubbing people who don’t care about customer service one bit. The rooms are clean, but that’s all I can say and the sheets are rough as heck. They need to replace bring your own sheets. Oh and the towels are terrible. They’re worthless bring your own towels last but not least if you’re traveling in the winter these people will not plow the parking lot. It’s dangerous and it’s a ice-skating rink. Be sure you have real four-wheel-drive and a snow shovel.

A basic hotel. Nothing extraordinary yet nothing I could say that was bad but I wish there was a refrigerator and microwave in our room.

Noisy people loitering after 12 am No where to unpack clothes No refrigerator like it stated in booking Shower drains sucked slow & back up

They probity is well lit at night the rooms are clean I would stay here again if I had to

It was clean but their service was somewhat sketchy. The room didn’t have a microwave and we requested and basically we were told that they had a microwave but no one to bring it to the room. No ice machine because they’re under construction. But, it’s a clean hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! Not a nice area! People in and out all night. Can hear people in rooms surrounding you! Very run down! King bed -two pillows! One bar of soap- no shampoo, lotion. Shower curtain falling off, toilet so scratched up wasn’t sure if there were feces on the seat! Room presented clean until you look closer. No breakfast, coffee, juice. Plenty of parking. Basic rooms, but clean amd comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful.

I called the front desk about our room not having a refrigerator and never heard back, so all our food went to waste.

What horrible experience. Cockroaches. Disgusting. Unsafe and unsanitary.

Just wanted a cheap local hotel for the night should have paid the extra $10 for a red roof inn. Stayed here I was so exhausted I just wanted to sleep. First room the bed was covered in stains every layer of sheets had stains. Even the towels weren’t safe. The blinds broken and stained so I asked for another room. Blinds worked but the room was just a filthy. I found out over night that baby roaches were in the head board. The pictures on the site don’t even match what I got. Tried for a refund of course the location didn’t offer one and I knew they weren’t. Goes to show they are okay with the conditions of the rooms and don’t care about comfort. Just money, and plot twist the guest who stay there gave me all the horror stories so I feel bad for them. Wonderful people though. No one deserves to stay in a room like this I don’t care what the price is. Wants nice stay for a little bit more money red roof inn has never let me down.

Smelled of stale cigarette smoke, ALL linen was stained including bedding. Live roach in room. Curtain looked like it falling off wall, bowl of sugar in microwave

There were roaches in the bed and all over the room.

Do NOT recommend. The no smoking room reaked of smoke. There were cockroaches. The floor was slippery. The walls were damaged and the security lock was broken. The shower had mold in it. If it hadn't been so late and there were no other places with available rooms, we would have left.

Bed wasn’t clean. The tv was ornamental because it didn’t work. Curtain for the window out front was broken and you could see us outside the hotel. Won’t be staying again.

Room smelled of smoke, suppose to be none smoking.! There was really bad mold in bathroom! Stain on sheets. Also the Coffee served at front was warm not hot.

This place is disgusting! They are infested with roaches and hotels.com is a joke as well. I contacted them for a refund for one day once I discovered that my room was infested with roaches and they refused to give me a refund unless the hotel said it was OK. They wouldn’t even help me. So I definitely would never rent from them again and I sure won’t go to this nasty disgusting place again. I intend to report these people to the health department because I advised them of the roaches and they acted like it was no big deal. They never one time apologized for the trouble. They didn’t care that I lost all of my food because once I made my food and I turned around for a second to go to the bathroom and came back it was covered with roaches. They offered to move my room next-door, which, as I stated was not going to change anything because they were infested, but I went ahead and moved anyway, and like I said it didn’t do anything because they were infested over there as well. I literally left for the day for several hours, and when I came back, there were roaches on my bed and inside my bags. It’s so bad that there is absolutely no way that they are unaware of this, but they just don’t care. Hotels.com didn’t care either so I’m done with them too. I would never ever suggest anybody go through hotels.com or rent a room from these people here.

Terrible experience – I do not recommend this hotel The condition of the room was absolutely awful. The furniture was sticky and dirty, and the air conditioner was filthy. As soon as we turned it on, a strong, unpleasant smell and visible dust came out. The bedding was clearly not clean — it looked like it hadn’t been changed. There were stains, dirt, and even hairs on the sheets. I went to the front desk to ask for a clean bedding set for both beds. They gave me only two sheets and two pillowcases — and even those were stained and dirty. They said they had no more clean bedding available. The water in the bathroom didn’t switch to the shower properly. The shower was more like a weak drizzle, while the main flow of water kept coming from the faucet. The only toiletries provided were two small bars of soap — no shampoo, no body wash. The receptionist listened to all my concerns but said she couldn’t help because her shift was ending in a few minutes. We ended up sleeping in our clothes and using our own t-shirts as towels because the ones provided were also dirty and stained. Very, very disappointing stay. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

I liked the room but the pillows were very old and only 3. I asked for another pillow and the girl just said make sure its still there. So she gave me a pillow that also very worn out. Neighbors were playing music out front so couldnt get to sleep

The room was updated, modern, and clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

Check in was smooth. Room was spacious. Bed was pretty comfortable. I am a pillow hog. There was only 2 pillows on king size bed. I had to reach behind desk thing in room to plug in the tv. Not sure why it was unplugged. As for the bathroom- I was a bit disturbed... the shower curtains definately need replaced they look unhealthy... there was hair on the sink and in the drain and no it was not mine! I took photos of the sink but for some reason it will not allow me to upload them!

The facility is old and looks it. Most of the lights didn’t work. The towels are small and rough. There are only 2 small pillows on the beds and they’re not comfortable. The mattress isn’t comfortable. The bedding was wrinkled. Curtain was missing hooks so it hung down in the middle. The location is noisy from the expressway. Location is secluded by trees/growth making it feel unsafe. Several times I looked outside to see what was going on when I heard people in the parking lot. The room rate was more than other places I have stayed in Clarksville. It definitely was too much for so little. If I hadn’t prepaid my stay I would have left and found a decent place.

Uncomfortable mattress

Conveniently off interstate, ok for quick stop, but regular tenants with barking dogs, sheets had mold stains, bugs in shower

Had a shower head but no way to turn it on ..no plug to take a bath either...very very noisy from side room and above room. Booked for 3 people was given one tiny bath towel and one washcloth

The pictures on Expedia are not at all the rooms that are actually in the hotel. I got that at shift change to check in. The man coming on shift was so rude to the off going staff. It was strangely uncomfortable. The rooms are not clean—there was stuff on the walls & hairs in the bathtub.

Very nice place for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They let me check in a couple hours early. Pinky was awesome and helpful when I checked out. Great spot to stay for Bourbon & Beyond or any other event in Louisville.

The employee was very disrespectful and dishonest.I told him that nothing in the room was working except the running water and an overhead light.I asked him not to charge my card because I was leaving the hotel to find another place to stay and he had already charged my card without permission and was refusing to refund my money back to me.I asked to speak to his manager and when he finally decided to contact him I was told that I would have to deal with it tomorrow. I finally ended up driving back to my city

A deposit was required-not unusual. However the staff refused to give a receipt for the deposit or for room charges.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating for a last minute stay. I rented a 3bedroom vrbo house and the renter would not get back to us on the entry information so we had to find a new place stay which also meant 3 bedrooms.

I HAD TO PAY $100 DEPOSIT CASH ONLY!!! WHEN TIME TO CHECK OUT ((( THEY NEVER INSPECTED MY ROOM))) THEY COULD NOT FIND MY $100 ENVELOPE THEY PUT MY $100 IN IT TOOK THEM 45 MIN TO GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK ... THEY JUST KEPT LOOKING FOR MY $100 THEY CALLED IN THE LADY THAT TOOK IN MY $100... I MISLED MY APPOINTMENT PAD LOCK ON DOOR BROKEN VERY UN SAFE

I still haven't received my $100 deposit from staying , even after speaking with customer services they insured me I would receive it with so many business days and I still haven't gotten it!

Dangerous for women, do not stay here. A persons short hair was all over my pillow, bedding was clearly not changed. Doors were flimsy and it’s the first time in a while I’ve felt scared to be somewhere. Had “missing persons” poster in the lobby so that’s the greeting you get when you walk in. Definitely felt like a place people could go missing from. Sketchy people outside all night laughing and talking and being loud. At a dead end street and felt dangerous.

It was down a hill with one entrance with insufficient lighting. The area was completely unsafe, then the door didn't make you feel any better bc it barely latches. The floor looked like it hasn't been moped in months, sticky stuff and fingerprints all over the headboards and furniture. There was a used condom in the trash can. The bathroom was full of hair and soap like someone was living there. And what mage it the absolute worst experience of my life were the sheets that reaked of cigarettes. I couldn't leave fast enough. I've stayed in other motel 6 in different states, so experiencing this was extremely disappointing and ruined my chances of ever staying in another motel 6.

The experience I had was the worst I arrived at the destination to a rude clerk when I went to go to my room there were three men on the steps and I am a female traveling alone it was extremely dark so therefore I did not feel safe and did not stay in my room do to fear of my safety when I talk to management I am still fighting for a full refund I do not recommend anyone to stay

Homeless population is high. Ran down area, room was outdated, smellwd moldy, bathroom light didnt shut off

The environment was dark and elements of drug related community.

It was convenient to an event I attended, just across the bridge from Louisville, 9 min drive.

Run down interior and sketchy area

I actually had cancelled this reservation bc I made a reservation at a cheaper Motel 6 however at 3:30 pm, this hotel charged my card, leaving me short of money, so I drove from Clarksville,IN to Louisville to stay there since I had cancelled the reservation but charged anyway. The tub broke and water continued to run. The lobby offered coffee at all for breakfast and our room smelled like someone peed in the corner. For $180 I was not happy with the stay at all. I did like Leonardo tho, the desk clerk was great!
