The best thing about this property is it allows pets. Externally the property is run down but my room was very clean and had all that I needed. the staff I dealt with were lovely. Overall this is a great budget friendly motel and I would absolutely stay again.

Quiet stay. Was initially concerned with all the live-ins making noise, but it was quiet for the 3 nights we stayed. Everything was clean, and the aircon kept the room at a nice temperature. Wifi isn't that great - very slow, or simply doesn't have enough oomph.

Cups were washed but still had tea stains. Stair had screws protruding from steps on every step right in the middle of the front edge of the step. I am uncertain if the receptionist ignored my two repeated questions about late checkout or did not understand them. Either way I got no answer. Children were screaming at the top of their lungs in play at 7 am on a Sunday morning. The bathroom was clean, well stocked and modern. The TV was quite small and basic (it did work for FTA channels), there was no dish soap nor were tea towels or way of cleaning crockery (there was a good supply of tea bags and coffee sachets).

Really poor room. Don't rate it at all. Dirty especially the bed I pulled back the sheets to find a blood stained mattress protector. Disgusting. Slept on top if the covers once I had layed down the towels supplied.

The room was in a good spot walkable to the lake, the rail trail and local cafe’s breweries and dog friendly which was a big tick for me. Very basic room, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge but no cutlery. The room and bathroom were clean but under the bed hadn’t been cleaned. I have no complaints but was quite expensive for the basic amenities.

Room was clean spacious and comfortable. I chose it due to soundproofing as advertised. It’s not soundproofed. Metal stairs are noisy as is anyone turning up in car park at all hours of the day and night, the rooms are very affected by noise.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The room was clean (although it did initially have a bit of a smoky smell that had been covered by perfume), it had easy parking, felt safe and was quiet and easy to get to. Although the room had a toaster and microwave, they have chosen to take away utensils and you can’t get any from reception? So even if you pack some bread and butter to make toast or a frozen meal to reheat you will be stuck using your plastic credit card as a makeshift knife or eating with your fingers, so be prepared and travel with your own cutlery haha Overall, for the price I would stay again but a few little things were missed that would have really made the stay.

Absolute shambles of a check in and experience. Booked well in advance (4 weeks prior to Christmas). Arrived Christmas Day and was told I had no booking. After 30 minutes the guy on the desk discovered I did have a booking but they had moved me to another motel down the road! No tea or coffee facilities nothing. The rooms was nothing what was advertised, a truly terrible and upsetting experience on Christmas Day.

When I arrived, they had put me in an upstairs room then when the check in staff noticed I wouldn't have been able to climb the stairs I got upgraded to a downstairs room to accommodate my disability which was hugely appreciated

The man who checked up in was lovely. i realized i was rushing and booked for next month and he helped me fix it all up and still had a room for us. Later on we couldn’t get an uber and this legend drove us for free to our friends place. Bill you are a legend and we thank you for your amazing service. we met some beautiful people there. it’s a pet friendly place so you get to see some adorable dogs

I am really impressed with the care and pride the team of Econo Lodge show. I’m here for a medical procedure so stayed at short notice last night. This morning I was surprised to realise my procedure did t allow me to make the 4 hr drive home. The team at Econo made everything so easy holding my room until I could return, and showed extra care toward me. Highly recommend.

We used it as somewhere to stay after an afternoon-evening event in Coldstream. Good for overnight stays or a couple of nights if exploring Yara Valley close to Melbourne but don't want the expense of staying in the valley itself. Neat and tidy, excellent value for the area.

We were visiting friends in the area before heading to Yarra Valley for a wedding. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Not walking distance to anything but we had a vehicle, so could head to a nearby shopping centre for food. We also found a cute museum to visit. The neighbours were my worry. We heard them fighting twice. Another neighbour had loud dogs. I think these people live in the motel. The fighting and noise made us feel unsafe. We booked two nights but only stayed the one. Might have been our luck of the draw with the noisy neighbours, however we won't be back. A shame really as the rooms are pretty decent and a very good price.

The room we stayed in was clean, updated and had everything you needed like a microwave, kettle and toaster. The decor was stark but clean. The room was big and the bathroom was quite new. There is plenty of parking. I think they might have some long term guests and as there is no smoking in the rooms, they were all smoking outside when we arrived. I found them friendly enough so no issue. It was very quiet even though it is on a busy main road. All in all it was perfect for a one night stopover.

Upon check in my family was upgraded from a 3 bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom. It was not an apartment but a massive house! We were amazed at the sheer size and my children had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying our time together. The location is excellent for families and easy to park in. A good choice of restaurants around to dine in or have delivery. The outside could use a freshen up with landscaping and painting. The rooms were modern with all the basic essentials. A hidden delight which we would be happy to stay at again. Thank you to the amazing staff who also made us feel welcome.

This property is very old and neglected. If you just want to sleep then that is all you will get. No breakfast no dining no rooms serviced. Time to pull this Motel down. Keep driving, give this one a miss!!

Ein schönes Sauberes Motel mit alles was man zum Selbstversorgen braucht. Parkplatz im Hof. Großes Zimmer mit Essmöglichkeit. Sehr Modern eingerichtet. Leider sehr hellhörig aber bei lärmempfindlichkeit mit oropax super zum umgehen.
