Great facility and staff!

Great hotel … new, clean, modern amenities and easily accessible to the Interstate and downtown Cheyenne.

The 2 ladies we dealt with at the front desk were both exceptionally nice. Unfortunately, they were the ONLY positives during our overnight stay. Upon check-in, we were told the pool was closed. Unfortunately, this was NOT listed on the website, or we would've stayed elsewhere. We were told we could use the pool at the Fairfield Inn next door. (NOTE: The woman at that hotel's desk was EXTREMELY rude & quite irritated that she had to (1) come to the desk to help someone, (2) let us into the pool and (3) there were also no clean towels so she had to go find some.) We had reserved / prepaid for a room with 2 queen beds but opened the door to find only 1 king bed. We went back to the desk & the hotel had only 2 rooms left apparently; luckily one of them was the 2 queen bed room we paid for. We got to our new room and one bed wasn't made. The fitted sheet was on it, but the flat sheet & coverlet were on the bed but not straight or tucked in, and the pillows were piled near the foot of the bed. There was dried toothpaste in the bathroom sink. There was hair in the sink and in the shower. There was a safety seal from a bottle left on the kitchenette counter. At breakfast, there was almost nothing available except for waffles, a couple yogurts, and some mystery pastry that was extremely dense and tasted very strange. The 2 ladies we spoke with were wonderful. The hotel was a total waste of money and ABSOLUTELY NOT worth what we paid for it.

The room was very nice and the pool was nice

Extremely quiet - I was nervous due to being close to the interstate and train tracks - absolutely no noise at all! Facility is new with a few items that need touched up, but overall the facility is beautiful and clean. Parking lot could be a lot bigger since this facility is a long term stay facility - lots of large company trucks and trailers in this lot - but overall it was a great stay! We will definitely stay again!!

Nice property, very friendly staff, and good free breakfast. Our room had a strong food odor and was not clean. The shower curtain was filthy, hairdryer, coffee maker, and sink all looked like they had not been cleaned. Disappointed for a Marriott and this price point.

Staff is very friendly and the facility clean

I found some type of gunk on the shower curtain and pubic hair on the soap shelf. I was not a fan of that, but the rest of the hotel was very nice! Breakfast lady is very nice!

The room was clean and modern, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the water pressure in the shower was great.

We had a great stay at TownePlace Suites during our road trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—just what we needed after a long day of driving. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise: fresh, convenient, and a great way to fuel up before hitting the road again. Everything was well-kept and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

The room was adequate. Front desk and breakfast staff were nice. The room was not well cleaned. The little kitchenette was really dirty. The counter was sticky. The cupboard that held the dishes was dirty along with the cups that were in it. The bathroom was also dirty. The counter was gritty and the cabinet looked like something spilled all down the side of it. The bed was clean. The breakfast was good.

Food and trash was left, no soap in the bathroom. Disappointed, for the money i paid i expected a clean room.

Super disappointed. The first room we checked into was not clean. The towels from previous guests were still hanging in the bathroom and the sheets were not changed. The man at the counter apologized and gave us a different room. The second room was cleaner.

We were thrilled with the room! There was a full size fridge, stove top, dishwasher, microwave and even a toaster and regular coffee pot! And real dishes and utensils!! Breakfast was good and free! Staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice place to stay and the price was good too! Thanks!

We come to Cheyenne every year. This was our first time at this hotel but it definitely won’t be our last. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast. Having a kitchen and full size fridge in the room was so helpful for a longer stay.

It was nice to have the extra space in the room. The table and chairs is a nice touch. The closet area was unique also. The bath area was nice-different from most.places. The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay

Almost everything about this hotel was great. The customer service was outstanding! The front desk staff and cleaning service were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star experience was that our room had a funky smell. We had to brew coffee all night and eventually go buy a candle to mask what ever it was. All in all, great place, would stay again. I probably should have just gone downstairs and asked for a different room but we were tired from a long drive.

Love the fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher. Just like your own little apartment. Not far from downtown.

Didn't like the noise from the trains but understand that it's an issue everywhere in Cheyenne

I’ve never had such a bad experience at a Marriott prior to this! First off, when I arrived to the hotel with my two small children we waited at the lobby for over 30 min with no staff on site. I had to call customer service since no one would pick up the phone or show up to check us in at 9 PM. Even after calling Marriott’s 1800 number no staff would pick up the phone or check us in, I was very frustrated to say the least. Finally after a police officer showed up to the hotel did a staff member appear. The police officer was there looking for a male suspect that had been trying to break into cars outside of the hotel. The area feels very unsafe (they even lock the main doors after 11 PM) There was a lot more that went wrong so I’m definitely steering clear of this hotel in the future.

Lovely place and very helpful front desk staff!

Diana was very helpful and attentive when we arrived. She made our experience 10x better.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. We did have some late night noise from the guests above us, but after we called the front desk, it was taken care of - great customer service!

I’ve never had such a bad experience at a Marriott prior to this! First off, when I arrived to the hotel with my two small children we waited at the lobby for over 30 min with no staff on site. We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. Everything was great, until the last night when our vehicle was broken into. We were their visiting my son who is in the Air Force, his military gear was inside the vehicle and that was taken. I will not stay at that hotel again.

This place was in a sketchy area and not clean. Light switches and floors and bathroom and counters visibly dirty and gross. Not a good area. Also right hear an air force base. The check in clerk said they have to keep building doors locked at night (even front door- they buzz you in) because sketchy people are wandering in. Did not sound great to hear as a solo female traveler. Would not stay again. There are nicer/ cuter hotels very nearby in the downtown area a couple miles down the road that are in a better and safer area. Hotel room was not clean. Smears of something and dirty on floor, counters, light switches. Yuck.

Rooms clean, comfortable and well equipped including in room kitchen. Staff was very professional and quick respond to any requests. Location is okay, close to train tracks which at times can be a bit loud, no horns just locomotive and squeaking of wheels. Breakfast was a bit lacking with minimal options compared to other hotels I've frequented. All in all I would choose this hotel again in the future.

Staff was very eager to help, and super friendly. The breakfast was alright, but could have had had at least a few more options for people with gluten allergies. (Which my wife suffers from) Still, you can't beat free.
