Breakfasts were delicious! The host was helpful and responded quickly with issues or questions. It is very close to the Donegal Town Center so we walked to restaurants, pubs and the Donegal Castle. We enjoyed our 2 night stay there. While there is public parking nearby, it is a pay to park situation Mon-Sat 9 am - 6 pm. Overnight parking is free.

No hot water in the shower was like ice cubes then it would scald you. Had to take a sponge bath and wash my hair in the sink. No hairdryer. 4-5 flights of steps and no one to take your bags up. Says free parking but they have two spots for the entire hotel. You’re not allowed to have food or drink inside the hotel!!! The breakfast was good but the coffee was instant. WiFi was unsecure and sucked.

Property was VERY run down and dated. Towels were small, old and tattered. Sink in bedroom took a long time to warm up, but then was nice. One bed had OK linens, but one rough and scratchy. Room was moderately large, but it was the ”family” room and was cold and 4 flights up!! Shared bathroom was gross. Shower had specks of blood and only one shared hand towel. Advertised “Amenities”,but only had dollar store shampoo/conditioner and hand soap. I feel someone should be checking shared BR on a regular basis for cleanliness. Sadly, maybe a sign telling men to put the seat down!! Breakfast was nice and definitely filling. NO real personal interaction with the hosts. VERY convenient and walking distance into town. Won’t be staying there again.

This guesthouse is in a quiet village on route in Donegal county. The owners are very nice and the Irish breakfast is probably one of the best we had in our tour. Our room was spacious but the building is very old and it could be cleaner. Overall a good place for an easygoing overnight stay.

They have restrictions on eating food in the room. There will be extra charge if you eat in your room. The owner converted the house to hotel. The toilet flash wasn't good. pillows & blanket covers were not clean enough. Booked the room from expedia in Dollar but in the property they charged me in euros.

Staff was great. Location amazing. The rest, sadly, was difficult. There is a grocery store behind the property that unloads trucks until around 2AM. After that we were unfortunate to have a loud neighbor and paper thin walls. He would leave his TV on til somewhere around 4 or 5 am. The room is small, toiletries were a half used bottle of body wash and pump soap at the sink. The toilet was in disrepair and often took 8 or 9 attempts before flushing. Towels were 2 small old bath towels and one hand towel. On the two nights we were hoping for good rest after a trans-atlantic flight, we left exhausted.

The breakfast was nice, and the location was good for what we wanted to do. The walls were paper thin and we heard everything from the two rooms surrounding us. The pillow were awful as well....flat and hard. We struggled with sleep.

Good 2 star hotel in centre of Donegal. Simple compact rooms Comfy bed. Decor ok Furniture and door dated. Good Irish breakfast, cereals and yogurt, no fruit. Staff friendly enough, well organised. No noise, slept well.

It is very convenient staying in the heart of Donegal. The breakfast was good and they accommodated my Gluten Allergy. A little quirky getting the toilet to flush. The furnishings are old and tired but the room was clean. No air conditioner so luckily the weather was cooler. Our double room was quite small - tight moving around with our luggage out.

This is a lovely hotel. The room I had was perfect size for one person. It was equipped with a twin bed, TV, 2 closet spaces and a sink. The bathrooms are shared but there was 2 just down the hall from my room. My favorite part was the breakfast. It is included with the price of the room. And it’s not a skimpy breakfast, they give you a-lot of food and it’s all delicious. The only issue I had was with the Wifi, it wouldn’t stay connected in my room. Otherwise, it was great. Definitely recommend this place.

We liked being close to downtown. We parked overnight on the street which was fine. Breakfast was very good. The owner also helped us with our bags to the second floor which was a nice touch.

This is a classic old inn with lots of character, right in the center of the old town. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a very good full breakfast with lots of options. Only one suggestion: the coffee at breakfast is just powdered Nescafe, which is pretty bad. The owners would do well do invest in a real coffee machine. But maybe they don't much call for coffee and people moistly drink tea.
