Amazing hotel. Perfect for an anniversary trip. Gym was great coffee shops was great people watching, morning walk on lady bird lake. Loved that my dog could hag out with us over breakfast!

The Loren is the perfect hotel for relaxing, with a pool area on the roof top and a great spa next door. The room and the bathroom were spacious, and I loved the automatic shades!! The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, who went above and beyond when assisting me in the restaurant and at the pool. The breakfast menu could offer a view more healthy options. Loved the cafe on the ground floor, great coffee and very nice baristas. I will definitely come back for another spa weekend.

This hotel stay was definitely one of the better I have had in travel. The staff was friendly, the rooms well maintained by the cleaning staff, room service was fantastic, and we had an excellent afternoon by the pool where the waiter Dom kept us very well stocked with delicious poolside beverages. I want to stay here every time I visit Austin in the future.

Here's a one-star review for your hotel stay: Absolutely disappointed with my stay! On top of the already expensive room rate, I was hit with hidden fees that completely soured the experience. They charged an outrageous resort fee for amenities I didn't even use, and to top it off, an overnight parking fee that was an absolute robbery $55 a night It felt like they were just looking for ways to nickel and dime guests. I won't be staying here again and definitely don't recommend this place to anyone looking for transparency and value.

I can't say enough about The Loren except I'm sad we weren't able to stay for longer! We walked across the foot bridge to get to the hotel from downtown and could tell it was stunning from far away. The lobby is beautiful, modern and cool. Checking in for our room (early!) was easy. The room itself was just gorgeous, smelled great and was impeccably clean. Our room had an awesome view of the footbridge and downtown Austin skyline (super cool), the minibar was perfectly stocked (TYSM for the big bottle of sparkling water for this pregnant lady) and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They left water on the nightstand after cleaning (and chocolates on the pillows) and had everything we needed for our stay. We got breakfast at the Nido (restaurant on top floor) and it was delicious. Recommend going early if it's the weekend since it get quite busy with non-guests for brunch (a good sign of how great it is). Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful from the front desk staff to the waiter at the restaurant. It was a quick walk downtown across the footbridge and it was nice to be a little away from the chaos of the late night on 6th but still able to get there easily. Highly recommend this hotel, it was lovely!

We had a great stay at The Loren. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and well stocked. The bath products smelled so good and the bathroom was lovely. Turndown service of chocolates and bottled water was wonderful. We can’t wait to stay again!

My go-to hotel in Austin. Great facility and location though I always feel that management of the hotel could be more elevated. We ordered some coffee pods to be sent to the room as we opted out daily cleaning, they were not delivered until a few hours later. House keeping staff knocked on our door when "do not disturb" sign was hung out.

I recently stayed at the Loren during a trip to Austin, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely top-notch. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our 3rd time staying at Loren. While we still love the property and surrounding area, we were disappointed with the services. Our room was not cleaned even though we were out of the room by 11am. Water and coffee pods were not refilled. And when we asked for the refills, it took a long time to have it delivered.

There was loud construction happening outside the property, the room did not get cleaned, and when I asked to get it cleaned, they barely cleaned it, didn't change the bed sheets or vacuum. The air ventilation in this property was terrible. In addition, getting the car from the valet would take over 20 minutes each time we called the valet service from our room.

We were on the second floor and the huge floor to ceiling window was not sound proof (heard cement trucks at 6 AM ) and I felt like we were in a fish bowl. Average finish out in the rooms.

So many hidden fees. I bought a burger and a latte and a drink for $90 due to hidden fees. The rooms looked really cool but “park view” was over the valet, not the park. Also the doors rattle when anyone on your hall lets their Room door . On the positive side the god was delicious. But definitely a 3 star hotel priced as a four star

Great hotel and staff and beautiful rooms. Only downside is loud st (Lamar blvd) cars racing and burning tires 11-3am. Family had a terrible restless sleep due to that.

Booked for a sort of staycation before moving out of town PROS: - dog friendly - 5 star staff - the true highlight - cool relaxed style - good poolside cocktails - great location next to auditorium shores CONS: - some of the amenities are closer to that of a 4 star - we could hear the road quite loudly overnight - the AC in the room seemed to not work effectively during high demand hours

Welcoming! Staff is very kind and helpful. Olivia at the front desk was exceptionally terrific, very professional and she went out of her way to be accommodating. She is the first person I spoke to over the phone and upon check-in. Five star employee! The bathroom was spacious, with great finishes and one of the best, most relaxing soaking tubs ever!

Not a 5* hotel, also the most expensive on our 11 night road trip and was the worst experience we had in Texas by far. Stayed 2 nights - arrived at 12pm (3 hours before check in) room wasn’t ready not a problem. I was told they are cleaning now and will be done asap (great news) went for some lunch at Terry Blacks as it’s a 10minute walk. 1:30pm back at hotel, not had a call or email so asked the front desk if the room was ready - not yet shouldn’t be long, no problem had a coffee at the Cafe which was the only (highlight of the place and great staff) 1:30-2:30pm others guests arriving and where checked in (not a problem) 2:45 I asked if the room was ready and it still wasn’t. 3pm surprise the room was ready. We had the lake view premier suite with balcony. The room/valet and bellboy services with the cafe are the only positives at the hotel. After the 1st night we went out for the day came back around 4:30pm and the room wasn’t cleaned. Contacted the front desk and was told someone would be there asap as they finish at 5pm. Called again asking if they are coming and suggested to just give us clean towel's and empty the bins. We were told no problem they will sort. So… 3 phone calls later (1 hour 30mins after 1st call) and feeling like we had to beg to get basic services someone turned up with clean towels! Shocking service for the price not a 5* hotel. Stay elsewhere in Austin AVOID this hotel. Not worth the premium.

Overall everything was great. The a/c did not get cool at night and we could not get the fan on the a/c to stay "on", you could not adjust it, so there was no air mvmt at all in the room while sleeping. That is our only complaint. Otherwise staff was friendly, we walked to the Moody Theatre for a concert, great location.

The location is ideal, close to great walking/biking trails and, via a pedestrian bridge, downtown Austin. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is new, so some amenities -- e.g. the cafe downstairs -- are not operational yet. Still, I would recommend the Loren to my friends visiting Austin.

The overall green design of this hotel is wonderful. Our room was a lake view king. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The dining options in the hotel were okay. The bar on top floor is more a happening see and be seen place than a place for good food. The breakfast option is just a coffee bar with few options. Despite all of this, the location is fabulous and would stay again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Austin with great views of downtown from the NIRO restaurant. We dined there and the food was really good, try the crudo and the chips! The room is beutifully furnished and brand new. Highly recommended !!
