I ended checking out early after one night as the room that was assigned to me did not have a shower, only an old claw foot tub, which was not easy to get into. Also the bedroom was at the top of a very narrow stairwell and the room was not easy to navigate because of a low ceiling beam. Bathroom sink, which was next to the bed would not drain easily. Not a great experience. My 5 night stay was non-refundable, but I could not stay there and there were not any other rooms available.

Just loved the USP of this place, made the stay just that little bit better, rooms and hotel were beautifully decorated like a moment out of time. Beds super comfy and great to have that bath in the room. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had great service staff were welcoming , friendly and helpful. Breakfast perfectly in time with the ethos of the place and super tasty too. Highly recommend and if ever in Lyon again will be coming back.

This hotel was exceptional! The decor and furnishing was very beautiful and tasteful, the room was very comfortable and looked just like in the photos, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and we left the hotel very happy. I only wish the room had an additional lock that could only be managed from inside the room, but other than that the hotel was perfect for us. We might come back to Lyon just so we can enjoy the hotel once again!
