Our stay at Hilton included breakfast, and there was a variety of choices. As a Muslim, it was a pleasant surprise to see that each non-halal food had a sign next to it that said “Contains pork.” However, they don’t have a business center to manage our bookings that needed computer access. The concierge allowed us to use theirs. Most of the staff were very attentive, but one of the employees was rude. We decided to ship our luggage from Beijing to Shanghai. The shipping company has a regulation that prohibits liquids and electronics inside the baggage for fast delivery, so we had to open all our luggage (4 large suitcases) for the delivery man to inspect each and every item, which was fine by us. However, the inspection was in the middle of the lobby and in front of everyone. To say it was embarrassing was an understatement…

The hotel is in a good location, but as soon as we entered the lobby from the street upon our arrival there was a heavy smell of sewage right at the entrance that is consistent. Further to that, the toilets in the reception area did not have toilet paper and we had to let the check-in staff know about it. Unfortunately, the smell is consistent and the team tries to compensate for the smell by putting fragrance to cover up the smell but it is not helping at all and it is carrying through the lift shaft as well and on to other levels of the hotel. Besides that, the service is fast and the team tried to be accommodating and the breakfast has a great variety to choose from. The coffee is good at breakfast as well.

Property is dater. It probably looked really nice 10 years ago. Carpet was stained all over. The walk-in shower floor was angled away from the drain, so you'd stand in a pool of water almost up to your ankles - not nice. Out of 2 restaurants on the property, only 1 was open. Ordered room service - a sandwich and soup. Sandwich bread was stale and soup tasted like it was heated out of a carton.

Property is conveniently located next to APM mall and right behind Wangfujing. Plenty to do and eat nearby. The hotel room looked clean, but I found a used cotton swab on the floor upon entering the room. The furniture and the room itself was a bit worn out as some hardware were rusting, and glides weren't smooth to operate. The breakfast buffet was decent and convenient. Overall, a good stay.

Very convenient location within close walking distance from the APM mall (lots of eateries inside) and Wangfujing. Excellent customer service, no matter who you speak to or what time of day you make a request. The only minor downside is that the hotel rooms are a bit dated, and depending on where your room is, you can hear the noise from the street (mostly just people talking loudly from outside the mall or street).

We stayed 14 Mar to 18 Mar 2024. The weather ranges 20 degrees Celsius in the day to 4 degrees Celsius at night. And it gets warm in the room but unfortunately, due to central control, there's only heater air conditioning which starts from 26 degrees Celsius. We had to open the all the windows to get the cool air into the room but because of the central location of hotel, it was simply too noisy with the windows opened. Our room is at floor 11. The hotel staff told me that the cooling air conditioning is only activated in summer...

Concierge staff ~ Leo Jiang and a fair small size lady (I'm not sure her name); hotel porter who stand at the entrance (the tall guy who work night shift), they are all friendly and helpful. However, receptionist staff need to improve to let guest feel welcoming. Room cleanliness is good too. Thank you all.

Great location Great room. It was our third time in Beijing. The reason why I gave it a 4* is the continuous lack of smile/ friendliness from the team at Hilton. Very robotic and transactional. No warmth. The housekeeping team were lovely. Always smiling and greeting. The front desk/ lobby team can definitely improve on this front. I've been to China many times and have stayed at many hotels even in rural areas and they have for the most part been super friendly -even with zero english- smiling/ friendliness is universal, no matter what language we speak- one cannot argue that Hilton way is the Chinese cultural way of being. Other than that, it was a was another memorable stay in Beijing. Thank you!

Great breakfast & great staff. Professional and personal managers, Johnson and Eric 國. Manager Johnson with a great heart - my husband and I met him in the street looking for the subway station. He volunteered to bring us to the station and showed us how to use cell phones to get in, even escorted us into the subway car and pointed which stop to get off. All till that moment, we were completely strangers. I thanked him for being a helper from God since it was the first time we were in Beijing. He then gave us his name card - Room Division Manager Hilton - saying that he was not sure if he was the helper from God but he was sure that he was a helper from Hilton Hotel Wangfujing Beijing, the same hotel we would stay for the next 10 days. At the same night when we came back to the hotel from outings, there were gifts and a birthday card for my husband laying on the desk writing by him with lots of other staff signatures. We were both extremely happy and surprised. How did he find out all about us?? He is not only a helper from Hilton but a real helper from God. He made our China trip so colorful and memorable. The hotel itself was fine. The check in process was long and painful. We had two rooms booked and it was confusing. On day before checkout we asked for an extension to one room. The girl sold me a date and told me it was the last room- the rate I discovered was triple the rate on the app. This took about an hour of time to do and then I had to go back and ask for a refund as the app showed a much more competitive rate. Why say this was last room and try to charge so much? Anyway in the end we managed to get a refund and book on app but their service was very frustrating

Loved this stay! From start to finish, every one of the staff was so helpful. I speak zero Mandarin, so I needed lots of help and this staff delivered. When I was getting help with transportation to the airport, it was pointed out I had the wrong time and missed my flight. Bummer, but the staff at concierge (Elvis was his name) actually got on the phone with the airlines and was able to rebook the following day and got my original room rebooked while he was on that call. 5 ⭐️s are not enough for this awesome location and incredible staff.

Great location - close to the Forbidden City, restaurants, shopping, etc. Clean, spacious room. Big breakfast buffet with many options for different tastes. Staff was friendly and helpful, even organizing a taxi for me for my ride to the airport. It was nice to be able to enjoy an espresso in the lobby bar!

Ok, the location is great but you can tell it is an older hotel and needs a bit of updating. As it was in Winter, outside temperature was very cold so the hotel aircon was set to very warm, so warm that we had to turn the air on off and open the windows to let some air in. The room was huge as we had the King Deluxe Suite, but the decor certainly needed updating. Wifi was very difficult and slow, apparently due to security during the national party conference, so was frustrating. Surprise find was actually their Chinese restaurant Chyna, the food was very good and not that expensive, we had the Peking duck there, was excellent, with a lovely waitress looked after us, she spoke a bit of English and was so cute helping us ordering food. In all, it was ok but would try other hotel if ever in Beijing again.

Good location for Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Jingshan Park, etc plus close to Wangfujing Station on the metro. I had lounge access and was impressed with the food and service. Nicole was particularly helpful with lots of help and advice about attractions and local restaurants (for Peking Roast Duck - rude not to try it!). Also close to shopping if that's your thing. I would stay again.
