Das Hotel war supersauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen hat uns das aufmerksame Personal und der schöne INnenhof in dem man abends gemütlich den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe einer U-Bahn-Station und in einem schönen, nicht touristischen Hutong, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen und wenn wir das nächste Mal in Beijing sind, werden wir uns auf jeden Fall überlegen wieder dort ein Zimmer zu buchen.

This property is good for travellers but if you don’t like stairs maybe don’t choose. The rooms are fine but the bathroom was like the one you get in a cabin in a caravan park. Very small rooms. The staff were nice and friendly though and helped us with travel information.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The “courtyard” of the hotel was very peaceful and I felt relaxed. When I arrived in China, my Alipay didn’t work right, but the hotel staff helped me to fix the issues with payment. When I went to visit the Great Wall (Mutianyu), the staff were very helpful in getting me a taxi to there and back to the hotel. If I’m ever back in Beijing, I would 100% be staying here again.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und trotz der Nähe zu den Bahngleisen ruhig. Die Angestellten haben gutes Englisch gesprochen und waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut gelegen. Der Bahnhof Beijing Railway Station ist fußläufig erreichbar. Einzig, das Hotel zu finden, ist etwas schwierig, da es in einer Seitengasse liegt. Interessant ist zudem die Ausstellung über den Briten Edgar Snow, der früher an dieser Stelle gelebt hat. Alles in allem ein tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und sehr empfehlenswert.

That section of Beijing was kind of rundown, mainly consisting of Hutongs but it was safe and kind of funky. Bit of a walk to the metro but relatively easy to get around. The hotel staff was helpful in arranging travel and selling tickets to tourist attractions like the Great Wall and Forbidden City.

Wonderful helpful staff. They would write everything in Chinese for me before I went out for easier navigating. Good location, restaurant next door never made me sick and the free coffee in the lobby was great. They were always able to call me a can. Loved the staff!!

Los recepcionistas tienen un inglés perfecto y son muy serviciales. La consigna es una zona apartada al lado de la recepción. La única pega es que no hay ascensor pero te suben y bajan las maletas. Está en una especie de hutong así que es un poco complicado para los coches entrar (pero entran).Tienen un restaurante donde hacen un buffet para el desayuno por unos 20 yuanes pero cuesta encontrar sitio para sentarse, sobre todo a primera hora. También anunciaban porridge gratuito por la noche pero no llegamos a probarlo.Hay muchas opciones para comer cerca y está al lado de la estación de tren y de metro de 北京站. La habitación era pequeña pero muy funcional. Tenía tetera eléctrica y cada día nos dejaban 2 botellas de agua y 2 sobres de té oolong. Había un letrero en el baño que pedía no tirar el papel higiénico en el váter. El acondicionador de la ducha dejaba el pelo mejor que la mascarilla que traje. En recepción tenían té y snacks para los clientes y el primer día nos dejaron snacks locales en la habitación. La televisión tiene muchos canales pero pilla mal la mayoría. El wifi funciona muy bien. Tienen un baño público y lavandería al lado, que tiene incluso un secador de zapatos.

Kamer was heel schoon. Het personeel was super aardig vooral de mensen die in het restaurant werken. Eten was ook lekker. Alleen wifi verbinding viel steeds uit en soms deed ie het lange tijd niet.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel 5 minuten Fußläufig von Beijing Railway Station. Die Mitarbeiter spreche englisch. Die Zimmer sind sauber und es ist ausreichend Platz. Good place but the rooms were very tiny for the price. I guess you pay mostly for the location but it is not so centrally located. Overall not bad but not great either. The rooms were clean so that is a plus.

The property itself wasn’t bad, the breakfast was fairly good, the staff was friendly, and the value for money was good. Unfortunately, the room we were given didn’t match the photos shown on Expedia. They told us we would get an "upgrade" since our original room wasn’t ready, and they gave us a larger room—but it was in pretty poor condition, especially the bathroom. (We did not complain as we did not have the time) Lastly, to reach the property, you have to go through some alleyways that have an unpleasant smell and may feel a bit unsafe late at night.

The staff were very good. My major problem was the WiFi. It is an open system, so I think too many people are using it. It is slow and unreliable. My room was fine. Construction was going on outside, but it didn’t bother me. The hotel is in a Hutong, and it was Edgar Snow’s residence, so that’s interesting. As a 老外 I’m dependent upon good WiFi to get things done.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The “courtyard” of the hotel was very peaceful and I felt relaxed. When I arrived in China, my Alipay didn’t work right, but the hotel staff helped me to fix the issues with payment. When I went to visit the Great Wall (Mutianyu), the staff were very helpful in getting me a taxi to there and back to the hotel. If I’m ever back in Beijing, I would 100% be staying here again.

Einzig, das Hotel zu finden, ist etwas schwierig, da es in einer Seitengasse liegt. Interessant ist zudem die Ausstellung über den Briten Edgar Snow, der früher an dieser Stelle gelebt hat. Alles in allem ein tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderful helpful staff. They would write everything in Chinese for me before I went out for easier navigating. Good location, restaurant next door never made me sick and the free coffee in the lobby was great. They were always able to call me a can. Loved the staff!!

Das Hotel war supersauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen hat uns das aufmerksame Personal und der schöne INnenhof in dem man abends gemütlich den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe einer U-Bahn-Station und in einem schönen, nicht touristischen Hutong, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen und wenn wir das nächste Mal in Beijing sind, werden wir uns auf jeden Fall überlegen wieder dort ein Zimmer zu buchen.
